Paco Rabanne is the same, with 1 Million Privee, and their next step was launching 1 Million elixir which is a disaster. what is wrong with these companies. no money for them anymore from my side.
The thing is with these massive fashion brands, fragrances are only a all percentage of their income. And it doesn't matter as much to them as their main selling points such as clothing or accessories. Now don't get me wrong, I don't know about Mugler. But judging from fashion trend and business, I assume they are trying to phase out things in their brand that no longer fits the direction of their aesthetic or branding which results in goodbye fragrances 🤝🙁😳

I bought this as a blind buy and this is one of the best blind buy ever. Still remembered the moment i got a whiff of this. Doesn't smell synthetic, very rich, dark and one of a kind. Abosolute banger!
The bottom line is unless you're a serious collector the common Joe out there is not going to know the difference between this and Pure Havane. The only thing they're going to know is that you smell good.
Got mine late yesterday and wore it today and I have to say I'm very, VERY pleased. It does smell very similar to Pure Havane but in my opinion I think it's better, Pure Havane has a slightly bitter bite in the far drydown whereas Insurrection II is creamier. On my skin they last about the same, 7-8 hours, I'll be picking up a backup bottle soon.

I sold my bottle of pure havane i didnt get the hype plus it didnt last that long on me ...The real star is pure malt that is one heck of a scent i love that
1821 Sweet Tobacco, Pure Havane and this one have quite a bit in common but for the price this one definitely comes out on top for as you mentioned the others are going to cost anywhere between $60 to $80 for the same scent profile.
I have this bottle, it's nice BUT I prefer Al Haramain Amber Oud Tobacco... it has SO much more depth and warmth to it... and yes these colognes are Cold weather colognes... currently it's 99F in South Texas! I always enjoy your vids, good work as always!
I also own both but AHAOT is lighter more vanilla heavy. Also, the tobacco hit that i get vacates into the mid. So, I like Wild much better. It also layers well with almost anything.
I just received this today. It's really impressive for the price! Going by memory alone, it is similar to Pure Havane, but also, and to a much lesser degree, reminds me of Cuba Red! You know those cheap Cuba fragrances, with the bottles shaped like cigars? Overall, this is a really cosy fragrance, with some slightly rugged maturity to it from the tobacco, but with some playful sweetness too that hints towards honey and cherry.
Great vid! I actually get more compliments with insurrection 2 than my mugler havane...people love that cherry soda vibe it gives off....at least that's the reaction I've gotten from it. Great vid!
As a young adult, I loved Halston's Catalyst... It had this warm cinnamon smell almost like an atomic fireball candy! It was such a unique scent. I wonder if this cologne replicates it in some way, or if there's another cologne that comes close to Halston's Catalyst??? 🤔

I was addicted to ultra zest then it was discontinued. Found ultra red by paco rabanne but it’s not the same. Hate when companies come out with a super popular product then discontinue it

I would say it smells 80% similar with the paco rabanne smelling slightly sweeter and the ultra zest leaning slightly more citrusy and vanilla. Both very similar honestly and projection of the paco rabanne is decent also
Finally got this one. For $21?? 🤯 On the opening I get the smell of the cigar humidor at the local cigar shop I frequent. Then once it dries down I get a warm amber powdery vibe. Love it. Next I will layer with moustache. 😏
A great layer scent. Will work with many fragrances. My favorite combo is this and club de nuit odessey which is an iris scent. Either are fine on there own, but together...beautiful. It is easy to get too much on, though. Really projectors, these two.
I have both and think pure havane is better in that the tobacco smell last much longer than insurrection, but i like insurrection more as a summer scent because the dry down smells cleaner. So i go for Havane for fall and winter and Insurrection for spring summer...

This didn’t work for me; not long lasting, not at all rich or dynamic- my friends said I smelled like Ben-Gay! Definitely a medicinal smell on the opening like Vicks-PeptoBismol and Rootbeer had an orgy. I gave it away! Hope the Pure Malt clone is better! Waiting for delivery!

if you dont have pure havane, i guess this can be a good close scent to it... but i have both and i can tell wild 2 has this (compared to pure havane) rubbery/plastic/tar ash like synthetic dry smokey smell to it while pure havane has little more pleasant sweet indulging dark/richer tobacco smell with hint of cherry/honey vibe. In the end, how close are they to me? maybe 80~90%? they definitely have similar vibe and probably hard to tell if you don't compare them side by side. but if you already tested both, you will be able to tell the differences without smelling them side by side. pure havane is much better quality, but 300 dollars more quality? probably not. As mentioned earlier, if you prefer dry ash like type of smokey smell, you might even like this more than the original, i personally like original more obviously.
@@DM-os2cq other people will probably not detect a big difference. You will feel Naxos more rounded enjoying the perfume evolution on your skin. Insurrection has a surprising quality for the price and it's more linear. Owning both is fine, I use Naxos only for special events due to the price :)
Completely different. Red Tobacco smells more like a fruity wet shisha tobacco with oud. This smells like dry tobacco leaves with honey and vanilla. Not redundant at all

Honestly, don't spend your hard earned money buying Pure Havane or Xerjoff Naxos. I've had both, this is sooo good that your wallet or purse will thank you.
Man I had Naxos and Insurrection side by side and dry down is very near to Naxos. Especially deep dry down. I have the bottle as not a fan of honey - tobacco,try to sell it but changed my mind. After 3 months of maturing on the shelf, performance is not bad at all. It's better than some of way more expensive one's

nota at all. it’s more tobbaco leaf than burned cigarettes, I don’t smoke and hate cigarettes smell but I LOVE tobacco colognes

Tobacco in fragrances does not smell like cigarettes or smoke or ash. It usually smells like those vanilla cigarillos. And yes, it's completely safe
