im here, but 2 years later. A little back story for comment readers here: I used to play music. I played in some bands, and got to play sold out shows, and sold some merch, and released an EP or 2 a few years ago. And I loved every dollar I spent (lol, those of you that play music KNOW) every memory I made, with every one of my best friends, every person I ever got to meet, and show my art too. It was my life for years. We were metalcore primarily, but were venturing into some heavier stuff, and softer stuff. Long story short, i got a job that i loved. and i had to resign. I was a guitar player by trade, but had pretty solid vocals, and bass playing with them, and with the new job i didnt have time to really do any of those things. So i lost myself for the bread. I gave up almost everything to make some money for a job i was pretty good at, and truly did like. I attempted suicide in November of 2022. Not my proudest moment, but it happened. Im thankful every day that i survived. The job i was working gave me FMLA for a while so i could seek help, and start therapy, and some other stuff. During those next few weeks, my siblings got me out of the house almost daily. Me, and my brothers have shown each other music for YEARS, and one of the songs my twin brother played for me was Grotesque. We were driving to go see some family, and that nasty ass breakdown hit. I was hooked from that moment on. Since then, you guys have inspired me to get back into my guitar playing, and vocals. And let me tell you, my daughter loves it. Ive only known about Dealer for a little while, but damn dudes. Thank you Dealer. Shit is good.
