Dorothy really is something else. They're like a band out of time, they don't belong in this generation of music, but holy fuck am I glad they're here.
Amen to that
She’s an angel. Old friend.
That's cause one of her favorite bands is Jefferson Airplane. You can really hear the influence the band has had on her, especially on this song
I'm glad you used the right they're.
@@MrKilljoyZero Me two, lol
This woman never do bad songs.
This band never do bad songs.
All hail Dorothy.
Salve
Last album was produced by Linda Perry. She's written a lot of hits.
shut up you cultic heretic
Dorothy, Lzzy, Taylor and Amy Lee, 4 great women of rock, love them all.
Let's not forget Ash Costello
thanks for this
and Maria Brink
Maria Brink too 🖤🤘🏼
Is Dorothy a distant relative of Grace Slick?
Sweet Jesus I am glad someone still makes music like this!

@@hugginkiss1027 Well Played! Props! 🤘🔥😎💨💨
Halestorm paved the way for bands like this! let them tour with them and helped promote em ....
Also check Highly Suspect for music like this one!
Everything she does is great
A 60’s sound with a modern day twist. I hear influences of Grace Slick in her style, and she has the pipes to do it. Rock on!
Came here to say the same thing - damn, does she sound like Grace Slick.
@@MatchGirl Amen. Some very serious Jefferson Airplane vibes going on here.
Shes somewhere between Grace and Janis. Awesome.
Was literally gonna comment something about how this reminded me of somebody to love
Just like Grace Slick
This one is very Jefferson Airplane, loving it!
Jammie Brasher sounds like Grace Slick.
Those Soaring Vocals though!! Holy Shit! she def has some Grace Slick influence.
@FloodyBoy Randal I grew up on Jefferson so right up my alley. I listen to literally everything but I'm still partial to my classics.
She has a heavenly voice.. As a drummer myself we played a few of Jefferson Air Plane's tunes back in the day.. Dorothy sounds a lot like Grace Slick & SEXY as HELL like Grace !!!!
I just heard this song for the first time and my first thought was holy shit she sounds like Grace Slick. God I wish I could sing and sound like that. Definitely gonna check this band out.
I haven't heard a song like this since Jefferson Airplane. If this is what they were going for, than they nailed it!
And damn... What a voice!
The whole time I’m watching this video I’m waiting for her to sing......”don’t you want somebody to love, don’t you need somebody to love!”
Phenomenal. The world has been waiting on another female power vocalist since Janice Joplin. Shes here. Love the heavy blues sound of black Sabbath that is a major influence
Grace Slick - I finally figured out who she reminds me of..... anyone else hear gospel, soul, bluegrass, rock, and a few other genres all rolled up into one in their songs? Refreshingly different.
Wow I dig this song a lot. And yeah, it feels 60's but also more modern rock as well. She looks good lately, I was worried about her going off the deep end. Hopefully she does a tour with her new album.
its amazing the power she has on her voice.
Well now, I'm a bit late to the party with this girl and her band but holy fuck I'm glad I'm here now!!
At first I really thought it was a cover to a Jefferson Airplane song i never heard before.
The music is so similar and her voice is so uncannily like Grace Slick’s!
I love rock music that gets my blood pumpin so hard!! 🎉🎊🎇 Dorothy makes me happy. Her and Lzzy Hale have badass voices.
Damn I’m having a ‘67 SanFran flashback here, this chick is strong and tonal, just like Grace! Hope she grows in popularity! Please do “Crown of Creation” or “Somebody to Love”!
This girl's power is unstoppable and immeasurable. She is a threat to all living things.
I took a bunch of my Top 100 pop friends to a Dorothy show in Austin and I am happy to report they had their rock n roll baptism that evening. Thank you Dorothy!
Holy....theres nothing this woman cant do and perfectly
Love the hat❤❤❤❤
Dorothy would easily be able to do a PERFECT cover of Jefferson Airplane's "White Rabbit"!!!
Grace Slick is so her spirit animal
Why do I have this feeling that I've heard this song in somewhere else?
those 4 plus maria brink and grace slick. all have strong voices but all so different.
Oh wow! This song is awesome!! When it slows down at about 2:25, I swear she's channeling Jim Morrison. Heavy Doors vibe, love it!
I'm so happy they made this a single. When I first listened to _28 Days In The Valley_ I put this on repeat because it was a headbanger. Linda Perry did a stellar job helping produce this record to encapsulate the essence of 60s and rock 70s rock.
I thought I was listening to Grace Slick with a twist! AWESOME!!!
ugh I love you 😪
omg I love her
stunningly beautiful, a fabulous voice, great songwriting... what's there not to love?
She has the power and presence of Grace Slick!
I had to look up this song to make sure it wasn't a Jefferson Airplane cover. Dorothy really sings like Grace Slick.
I love it. Sort or a mix of Grace Slick and Janice Joplin. Powerful.
Love it the Airplane Grace Slick vibe Thank you Dorothy I really need real music like this in my life
Damn this song is good
If someone played this for me and my eyes were closed---I'd swear it was Grace Slick! Damn!!
Omg i love this 70s style. I love her voice and the guys who play this great music!

She's great. She really needs me on guitar though.
Her concert was amazing. She sounds way better in person!!!
Yessssss Dorothy, you have made some of the most amazing creative music videos I've ever seen they are ART you & Lzzy Hale & her boys have come out with some of my favourite music videos ever this year love you both
I love all the shots from Stubbs at Austin Texas, I was there... and obliterated yes
I just found you through Lisa Bonet. Your voice is out of this world. We need more female singers like you and Christina Aguilera.
i'll spread your music like wildfire
She sounds like Grace Slick.
I love Dorothy when my love runs dry
I really wish shed do a 90s rock, pearl Jam/ soundgarden type album!!
The answer is obvious Dorothy. We love you!
Great song / great music you guys... BTW: if you do not know this already, you are currently getting significant air time on alternative and hard rock radio stations in Greece...

Dorothy is letting out her inner Grace Slick on this song.
I'm going straight for this woman the next time I see her again
I love her💯can’t wait to see & meet her🙏🏻
Who do I love?
You, of course and your music.
I would love if Dorothy Martin would do a cover of 'man of constant sorrow'. Could you imagine how badass that would sound with her vocal abilities!?
thanks for burning my brain out again
dat woman gives me the giggles ... damn but her voice .. is something else
Grace Slick circa 1968 reincarnated. You go, Dorothy!
she's a rock en roll preacher
Your band.+ Halestorm .😀🌛😎
HOLY SHIT!! Those 60's era Grace Slick esq. Soaring Vocals!! Get Some Dorothy!
Dorothy is Grace Slick reincarnated. The voice is dead on, if not better.
Love this fiery sound!😈
All Hail Dorothy!
Her voice is something special. Reminds me of an era i didnt live in haha
Recently discovered and really like what I’m hearing. Be seeing them in September. Can’t wait.
Is this a music video or a time travel to the 70's?
Love it anyway❤
Flawless as ever! I absolutely love this song
I am praying to the rock gods that this band makes a stop in Ontario Canada in the near future. Damn! Such a powerful voice!
Oh that voice
Proud Of Meeting My Soulmate !!!!!!!
I'm a 60 year old musician, this the closest I've ever heard the same passion from a female rocker since Joplin. Total fan, not one bad fucking song!
You gotta listen to more music, mate. There’s lots of passion on record since Janis Joplin. Lots.
Who do I love? When my love runs dry! Myself, of course!
I knew there had to be a rock God still giving out gifts to humans.
I love Our Heavenly Father and my sonAlfonso Ortiz
I just wish I would have seen her before this Bull """ Yuo are a true Rocker!!
Holeeeee shit! I'm having acid flashbacks, and visions of '62 Impalas running the street, and Joan Baez and Grace Slick on stage, and - phew! OK, I think I'm back now. What a trip! My God, this chick is shit-hot, and her vocals kill me & take me back to the summer of '67. Bam!
I feel bad it took me this long to find her/them but I'm glad and gone through their whole evolution and thankful for this music. Trully glad to see it in this day and age and helping me in many ways. Hail Dorothy 🤘🏾❤️
Damn I swear if you play this at the Freak Valley Festival in Germany the crowd is gonna go WILD!!!
All hail the return of real music,
U have no idea how much i love you 😍
I love you Dorothy!
Seeing a lot of comparisons to Jefferson Airplane and Grace. I actually thought that's who it was when I first heard it. Had to hear Whiskey Fever and Wicked Ones before I realized it wasn't.
This is The best song from Dorothy!!! Please, keep going like that!!
No way, there are many, please, listen more
I know all their songs, but this is step forward. Her voice reminds me of rock in 70s, 80s.
My Words is Like Vodoo
