The Dark Pool is one of the most beautiful album I've ever heard. But I also love this new Thornhill sound : so groovy, so creative and still so Thornhill's like. And can we talk about how SEXY this song is ?? Even more than Casanova ! Well done guys, I'm gonna have this on repeat 'til the album drops !
At first I wasn't a fan of the song but it was my least favorite on the album after hearing three times, and hearing the live version it grew on me and honestly I prefer the live version of RAW in my opinion I can hear Jacob's vocals better live instead of his vocals distorted I wish they can go back with live vocals on the album like the dark pool which honestly that's not going to happen on the next album also I didn't realize this was Matt's last music video with them ugh it broke my heart when they announced he stepped down performing and touring I will miss him I'm glad I got to meet him, Ben, Jacob and Ethan minus Nick he was absent at the ERRA tour and the across the heroine tour I wish him nothing but the best and on to his next chapter may god bless him.

Thornhill was one of my first metalcore bands that i got into, being Butterfly EP which i fucking enjoyed, then dark pool came and it was a fucking shock with how perfect and new it was, and then this. I have nothing but love for them this sound and i am hella excited for 'Heroine'. Rock on bois🤘🤘🤘

This is the direction Northlane took with Alien back in 2019 because before that, they were heavily a metalcore band and now Thornhill jumps on the same trend. Not bad at all just different and of course, still good.
Damn these dudes slowly grew to become one of my favorite bands. I love their sound evolution and how their trying to find a truly unique way of expressing themselves. Between this and TDP there’s a hell of a gap (it’s like listening to two different thornhills, if you know what I mean) but man i just can’t wait for this album. AOTY contender for sure 🔥

I agree it's catchy when I first heard it was my least favorite but when I heard the live version of Raw it grew on me then that's why the live version of raw it's better than the studio version in my opinion.
