No painkillers so it stays sharp and ready, the adrenaline is there for in case it needs a pick me up after nearly passing out from the pain. Their culture also believes pain is necessary and strengthens them.
I don't think that's the main reason. I think it's more about beliefs and "honor". Like they'll be branded as a coward or not being a warrior for using pain killers. For likely they see usage of painkillers just a show of weakness
I don't think that's the main reason. I think it's more about beliefs and "honor". Like they'll be branded as a coward or not being a warrior for using pain killers. For likely they see usage of painkillers just a show of weakness and the show of being unworthy to be a hunter.
I get the feeling from the lore that they see themselves as much too hardcore to pack painkillers; all they bring are tools and meds that keep them on their feet, fighting. That seems completely Yautja-style to me.
I always thought that those healing shards as painful as they maybe, contained some form of regeneration medicinal properties. Something with such quick healing would only be accessible to elite clans, while regular clans resort to having more tools in the kit.
for the predator anesthesia thing, i think it's that when you're done healing, you don't wanna be feeling like that while in combat, so they do not include the thing
It's definitely not easy to Patch Up your own wounds, Which makes it Painful. But! sometimes you gotta do it or Your wounds will become infected and May succumb to the Injury or Injures.
The gel already exists...it's a transparent protein based gel used to heal after surgeries..I've seen that on YT...in 2020 sometime Maybe mass production might take time?! Never saw that being used irl But that blue liquid vessel with automatically lit fire was amazing! Would love to see that for the armed forces and also for people in general who camp Very convenient for cooking I'd say!😉
It's quite impressive what there use is a bit of good reason they would have this. But even a Human hunter wouldn't get themselves hurt like that and so severally. At least imply them afterwards or in small amounts so you can still do something as a Yautja.
Pain to the Yautja is as necessary for existence as breathing. Their entire society and culture is predicated on only the strongest, smartest, and cleverest hunters surviving. Enduring pain shows strength and hardens them, and it serves as a reminder of the lessons they learned, mainly how not to repeat the situation that led to the pain being inflicted. That little gun thing was likely an antiseptic treatment for the wound.
Perhaps a reason they don't seem to use painkillers is cause if their using the kit, then their activity in territory where keeping your senses about you is crucial. Painkillers would dull the senses.
They could believe the yuuzhan vong way of thinking that pain is basically a gift of their gods and they're disgusted by any shunning of discomfort....it's believed by them to EMBRACE the pain.
Ever since I saw The predator movies that has been one question that’s been nagging on my mind ever since I saw it, well it’s actually two questions but I think that is one how is it possible for predators to train humans in their ways and what would happen if predators landed on a planet that was based off the monster hunter games? I mean would they think the monsters are more ultimate prey then the Xenomorphs and would use them for their coming-of-age hunts or will they think of them as just worthy prey
There has been a few humans who have been train in the way of the predators. Not in the movies but the comics and novels. The first known and the most popular one is Machiko Noguchi.

I've always thought about how painful these processes are considered something as resilient as a predator screams in pain when tending to their wounds
Really thanks a lot for the content you're one of the best out there in my opinion.

The Juntia’s style of hunting would be the human equivalent of a human hunter going after bear with a spear.

I just realized that in "Predators" No medicomb was ever uses! I totally forgot about that!
Possibly because they don't want to get addicted to painkillers. That's why I don't take painkillers. Lol

Even med stuff we humans use hurt like h;l also especially for me
But there are some records that human warriors are trained to endure pain. Like the Zulu, Spartans, Shaolins, samurai and such
