Injuries mean nothing. Bills were missing two pro bowl on defense. Plus 3 more on the secondary got hurt. N still allowed just 6 points in the last 42 mins of the game. At least fins got lucky bills didn’t recover the first fumble. N Tre White dropped a pick 6 in the fins 30 years line lol

@@ill4mz54 I wasn’t all that secure. Missing our Center and 2 good blocking wide receivers gave me a feeling of dread. Losing those folks, due in part to a meaningless beat down did nothing to make the W any shinier, was just not useful. I’m not kidding when I thought we needed everyone to beat the Bills in Buffalo. We didn’t. I think Kader, who is a very good corner, thought he could take Diggs on his own - and while he’s good, he’s not that good. I think there were lessons learned and hopefully we’ll learn and apply. Hopefully both teams are as close to full power as the season will allow when we meet again. Ciao!
Kyle, 1st: Congrats on the baby boy! 2nd: going into this game was a lot of hype. No one was paying attention to the mid level stats the dolphins had on defense and that the Bills are elite on D. I agree that the Phins will learn from this loss and come out stronger. The offense could use a few tweeks, but Fangio and the Miami defense seem like a round hole and a square peg. What was changed when he came in? How much was the personnel (players) changed from last year? Is he taking into account the players he has and their strength and weaknesses when giving them assignments? I ask as a Bills fan. Our first game against the Jets woke Josh up and he re-learned Protect Ball: Good, Turnover: Bad (to be read in a caveman voice, or monster of Frankenstein). Everything else was working in that game.

We lost in the trenches. We need to get better on the defensive side, although we have folks coming back and development on that side.
When you try to play catch up, it allows the defense to dictate. We played poorly - the tackling was definitely poor.
We need to get healthier and smarter. If we had to get punched to improve - then it’s a beating we needed.

Tough game dude. It sucks losing especially to a division opponent. As a Bills fan I can tell you the fi s are building down south. You will rebound, we will meet again.
Fins are a tough out and to beat them it takes perfection or close to it. Buffalo today was the best version of what they are. I can't see anyone beating them when they play a complete game as they did today.
I knew if Buffalo was to win this game, it would come from our defense. Our defense is different this year....it is one of the best defensive units Buffalo has assembled and with McDermott actually calling plays and taking over the defense, the outcome is undeniable.
The fins are close, if they can field a top 10 defense they would be nearly impossible to beat.

Tua's been playing under center in previous games but since his center was out he had to resort to the shotgun, that slowed plays down, moved the line of scrimmage back, messed with the timing, allowed guys to get their hands up, and broke Tua's visual communication with receivers.. I was immediately alarmed when I saw the shotgun.
That said, the Bills brought it, offense was especially disciplined and focused. That's the cleanest I've seen them play, few mistakes.

you can _REMEMBER_ humble pie tasting a whole lot better than it actually did on the way down. The Bills got the equivalent of their humble pie in week 1. So did Allen. 3 weeks later and they've absolutely demolished everyone since and he's played like an MVP. Felt really uncomfortable with the excessive flowers we were getting this week with almost losing to the chargers and the friggin patriots and going up against a broncos D that looks to be historically bad - made Sam Howell and Justin Fields look like the next comings of Dan Marino and mvp season Cam Newton, respectively. So hopefully coming off from those unmatched cosmic high horses and back down to earth will lead to a similar grind out work ethic and similar results to what the bills did after their loss with these cupcake games coming up.
The eagles and chiefs haven't looked very good at all. The commanders that got shut out last week flying all over against Philly. And the chiefs just keep winning ugly and tonight it was DESPITE Mahomes trying to throw the game away. The cowboys got handled by the cards last week, too. I see those as 50/50 or better winnable games so 13-14 wins may not be off the table quite yet if they shore some things up.

I will give the Miami O credit it took McDermott 2 series before he dropped the hammer, last two weeks just one series. What's funny is nobody was talking about McDermott as the DC in Buffalo, against Vegas he held Jacobs to -2 yards on 9 carries, last week he had his new MLB, undersized, named DPOTW in his third start. McDermott was one of the best DC's when he coached in Carolina that's why he's a HC today. Sooner or later the pundits will catch on.

While diggs and Dawkins are helping to keep the bills in line Tyreek is off talking about getting 2k yards and tua is taking midnight jujitsu classes. McDermott has changed this defense for the better. They already had a great defense and now they’re creating turnovers and sacks. McDermott is an elite coach and has absolutely made a difference.

Buffalo is still better. That's the primary takeaway. Connor Williams is going to get paid - I don't blame Eichenberg, playing center for the second game in his life, but he clearly couldn't call protections successfully and his blocking was subpar. Deshon Elliot should get paid - I like Brandon Jones but he's a severe liability in coverage. This team lacks depth, but even so I am starting to question the Fangio hire. Getting outcoached by Ken Dorsey? I think he'll be a great OC but this mismatch should have gone the other way.
