I recent tried UFD!! I like how it feel like a nice easy to apply refresher, but I agree other products can make the curls super pop! Between UFD, Camille, and Kinky Curly they still all get an A+ for moisture 🙌🏾Your thumb nail is 🔥 btw!
My two favorite gels!!! When I use them without a leave in, I can get at least a five day wash n go.
And how many days u get using leave in too?
Both sides look great but there is an obvious difference. I like the Uncle Funky's Daughter side the best. I've been itching to try this product line.

Hey Shauntell 👋🏾👋🏾 I liked the UFD, but I’d only recommend it if you like a gel with a soft hold. Your hair will get frizzy quickly lol. Thanks for watching 🌺🥰🌺
On camera, UFD looked like it had way less frizz (and therefore more definition) from day 3 onwards than the CR. 🤷
But your curls initially looked amazing.❤ Interesting the way the top frizzed but underneath still looked defined. Thanks for sharing. 😍
I like the uncle funky. I love the soft holds gel 👏🏽. I was about to say I don’t see the frizz but from a distance they are nice.

Heyyy Telisse, I use to love the curl maker. I started off using eco then I felt like they made my hair hard then I started the Camille rose and had fell in love. I like the Camille rose side. I have the ufd in my stash but haven’t used It yet. I felt like the curl maker didn’t clump my curls like eco or wetline if that makes sense. You are bout to make me pull It out for tomorrow’s wash day 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. I want to try the other gel from Camille rose. They say it’s a stronger hold. Thanks for sharing

It’s hard to choose 😂 but I like the UFD side because of how thick it makes your curls look, they look more defined than the curl maker side.

Hey Telisse, I love UFD & I prefer it over the CR but I’m curious to see which one you think is better in this battle. I have that honey hydrate & still haven’t used it but I’m gonna pull it out. 😂 I get flakes if I refresh too much with the CR vs the UFD. 😂 at your sister not caring if you use her CR. 😂 at adding more leave in. Yesss come through UFD on first application. 😂 keep the junk in the trunk. 😂 I think UFD elongates my curls too. OMG!!! Noooo not the CR. 😂 CR frizz looks like a lot more than UFD. I get a little hold with UFD but I add a little each day. I do the frizz on UFD on day 5 but you do have a lot of friZz. Yesss UFD for the win. 👏 FW
Hi Telisse ☺️🎉 I'm so glad I wasn't the only one who originally disliked the Camille Rose Curl Maker. I didn't get a cast, and by day 3 it was extremely frizzy and gunky.

I prefer the UFD side, I just used some today for my twists(wash and go's ain't my thing!). I would like to see a shampoo battle with Mane Krush Spellbound against either Alikay Naturals black soap shampoo, Annabelle's Perfect Blend shampoo, or Product Junkie Naturals shampoo.Tfs

CTs, thank you for this demo! CR Vs UFD. I like The result of CR as it gave you root lift, volume and poppin culrs. UFD gave you lovely shinny long curls. I liked the CR results. As you know fro. A previous request I was looking for something which gave me some shrinkageect...so for me CR won. Thank you!🥰

You didn't like these gels in the past cuz they left you with frizz wow and I completely understand. I never tried to use the Honey Leave in under any of these products. Nice of your cousin to buy you the Uncle Funky's Daughter. That's great your sister doesn't care if you use any of her products especially the Curl Maker. You hair looks cute with the clips. i have both of these gels but have only tried CR.
i get great results when i use it over CR curl love. now i really want to pull UFD off the shelf. tfs 👍🏼😁👍🏼
They both give me similar results for WNGs. Soft hold but frizzes easier/quicker.

I think Curlmaker smells like grapefruit and Curly Magic smells botanical/floral/natural. I’ve never owned Curly Magic but I’ve smelt it in cvs lol. I hope to try one day. Curlmaker doesn’t do it for me. It was one of the first gels I tried to wash and go with

Since you don’t like the curl maker I don’t know if you’ll like the curly magic. They have a similar hold even though they give different results. What didn’t you like about the curl maker? I hope UFD has a good Black Friday sale.

I’m going to try my Uncle Funky’s Daughter on my wet hair than I got before, stay tune and wait for the video it’s coming out real soon
I was watching this video and decided to finally battle these and I can just say that both are a no for me. Though I prefer curl maker over curly magic. I got the definition but my roots are really puffy. I actually like how my hair looks with both gels but I HATED the application especially the curly magic. I used so much and felt like water. Actually thought my hair looked like shit until it dried the curls started to form. My hair feels sticky and gross (it’s still not as dry) and feels wet every time i go outside in the hot humidity. I think I’ll get 4-5 days like always but we’ll see. I used both under curl love, I was told to do one and done with them but idk if I want to try using them again.
