It even took LB a while to get into the groove. This guy is improving. Mimi knows how to bring the vocalists along.

Jordan John is an exceptional vocalist, with remarkable contemporary skills and singing expertise. Based on today's standards, his fronting is likely on par for a beginner at this level. As a fan and musician, I have loved Tower Power for most of my 74 years, having played many of their songs throughout the 1970s and early 80s. I believe that by recruiting young, talented musicians like Jordan John, Tower Power still has the potential to elevate their performance to the next level.

comment from Brent Carter!....Great show! And the new lead vocalist is pure magic! What a voice! He effortlessly works his way through all of the songs. Old songs, new songs and everything in between! Just Damn! Great addition to the band! ♥… See more

Brent was the singer when I discovered Tower. Love his high energy. He crushes it on that live album; Willing to Learn, Say the Least, Can't you See, etc. Then the Lou Rawls video, hiliarious and the Sinbad Summer show. Brent was great.

From a longtime fan’s perspective, there’s more to fronting TOP than having vocal chops. Brent Carter and Larry Braggs commanded the stage with that special ingredient that you either have or not. This short clip is inconclusive. I can say that since LB’s exit a decade ago, the band has been missing that ingredient. Time will tell whether this new guy has it.

"Time Will Tell" indeed. Pun intended. Maybe he'll even do it. Yes, Brent, LB and even Ray Greene had the stage presence along with the vocal chops. Nothing against Mike Jerel, but that was missing when I saw them in October. Heard he developed a vocal cord issue. Hope he's ok.

@@Amyls64 I couldn't make their New England swing this time. I'm in MA. The videos I've seen certainly show he's got "it." So does the new drummer.

@@alcambrola2834 we saw the mighty mike back in Summer 2023, his voice was absolutely excellent then, we were stunned, he had the presence/voice. its such a shame he developed the vocal cord thing, he is a brilliant singer but needs time to heal. jordan's got it too!!

That's right Michael, we'll have to just be patient until we reach the realization.

I will say that Ray and Marcus had some spark. Not so much with the others. LB really could stand out on top and in between the horns in a very complimentary way. He really perfected the whole thing over 14 years. I'm sure it's one of the toughest gigs for a lead singer.

Tom Bowes and Rick Stevens have always been my favorites, with Lenny a very close third. Then, Brent Carter. The rest have never reached the level of soul and emotion for me. My opinion. No need to trash me for it.
