- Hurricane Beryl ripped off roofs in Jamaica, jumbled fishing boats in Barbados and damaged or destroyed 95% of homes on a pair of islands in St. Vincent and the Grenadines before rumbling toward the Cayman Islands and taking aim at Mexico's Caribbean coast after leaving at least seven dead in its wake.
Exactly. Please focus on the hardest hit areas such as Grenada, St. Vincent, Carriacou, Union Island and Petite Martinique so that the aid/help can reach those most affected. Jamaica doesn't need it at this time. Please prioritize those islands mentioned.
Kudos to this man, he’s saving lives.
The footage doesn’t really show what is being said.
It was just a small part of the roof over the boarding bridge. The Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston remains intact.
Hurricane Beryl passed us in Grand Cayman at 5:30am this Thursday morning, about 60 miles south of us, as a Cat 3. We did not lose power or water, not much damage, thankfully. The sea on Seven Mile Beach looked like glass. It was so smooth, but no, she passed us at 10:30am. The waves were starting to build, and a bit of rain. Thinking of the others who were deeply affected. Also, us locals call it CAYmaaaannnn, not CayMENS.
Yes there are widespread damages. Some of the damages were minimal because a lot of us near to the hills did not get a lot of damages.
Montego Bay is not in the South 🤷🏽♀️
Where is the "widespread damage" in Jamaica? You must be so disappointed that you didn't get your big news event. 😄
A lot of places are damaged stop being foolish. People from st Elizabeth were ravaged in some areas.
@@user-yu7sn2pk4f A LOT OF PLACES are damaged? Of course you will have SOME damage from a CAT 4 HURRICANE! Of course you will have SOME ROOFS lost or TREES DOWN. But you can hardly call that WIDE SPREAD! Educate yourself before you embarrass yourself, dunce bat!
Key word is widespread

@@LG-wm1nw Totally agree. But they feel they will get more views if they say JAMAICA. My heart goes out to the much harder hit islands.
It is a hurricane!!!!!
They are predicting up to 25 this year. I bet its many many more tho
25 in which island?
