Saw this recipe yesterday and I’ve already made it three times since then. I made a batch with pecans, one with almonds and cashews, and another with peanuts! They come out SO CRUNCHY and DELICIOUS. My whole family loves them. Thank you for the recipe!
Jocelyn H jealous😞 cant find corn syrup
I have a recipe that does not require corn syrup or the baking afterwards. I would be happy to send it to you via Facebook messanger. I made some today. It's delicious.
Yes, you can skip the corn syrup. You can replace it with honey or maple syrup or I've seen recipes online that just use butter, brown sugar, salt, and a little water. (Just fyi, I've made my caramel corn with half butter and half transfat-free Smart Balance and it came out great) Your question has motivated me to try a different recipe without corn syrup, too. I will post an alternative version if it works.
@MsIchigo93 - I never thought of it but yes, I guess you could eat it without baking since that's how I make popcorn balls. However, it won't have the crispness or the rich caramelized flavor you get by baking it.
I made this and it is delicious. Actually, I made it a few times. I discovered that it is way easier to use a "turkey roaster" type of pan because it has higher sides and makes turning the popcorn easier. Also, I put a piece of parchment paper on the pan, allowing ease of turning, plus easy cleanup. The popcorn is highly addictive, and I may have to go to a detox facility because i cannot stop eating it.
Thanks for mentioning the parchment paper. I was wondering if you could use it.
Great idea with the roasting pan and parchment!

Jenny, you seem like a genuinely nice person and you can cook! Thank you for your informative and pleasant videos. This world always needs a dose of nice and good food. Carry on!
I warm my popcorn in the oven for a few minutes near the end of the cooking of the caramel. I cover the popcorn w foil. The warmed popcorn makes caramel spreading much easier and takes less time. This makes way for covering every kernel too. Then, bake accordingly. Sometimes I even add small pretzels and dried cranberries. Yummy!
If you use the paper bag method, just clip a small hole in the bottom corner of the bag and the unpopped kernels can be shaken out.
Great idea. Thanks for sharing.
genius
damn i never thought of that....mind. blown.
You are amazing.....super idea !
Excellent idea, I'm going to try this with my name brand old man with white hair microwave popcorn whose identity shall remain secret lol.

This was great! Thanks! The second time I made it, I cooked the caramel a couple minutes longer & skipped the baking step! You get to eat it much quicker.
This is the same exact recipe I’ve been using since the sixties! It makes excellent Carmel corn!
I make this exact recipe! I was curious about your recipe and it turns out to be the same. This is By Far the BEST Caramel Corn Ever. I always make at least 3 batches at Christmas. I use a large roaster for easy turning. Time consuming but SO Worth it!
Thank you so much.. This was my mother's lost recipe and I've been looking for it for years..

Lol that dinosaur at the end....couldn't stop laughing
Ik rite lmfaoooo
Same here
Yep 😂😂😂😂
Mianya Winchester I’m still n stitches!!🤣🤣
Me too, lol. It wasn't satisfied with just the one Kernel better to just grab the whole bowl.
diy: spray measuring cup with cooking spray before measuring to keep sticky stuff from sticking...
Yes that is a great tip! The corn syrup sticks like crazy to everything so spraying the measuring cup with oil beforehand makes it much easier, also for washing up afterwards.
@@hongvu8388 don't have any issue washing corn syrup off of a measuring cup. Don't even have a issues washing the caramel syrup off of stuff.
Could probably rub it the buttered finger.
Jenny, I think that simple recipes are often the best and I appreciate how you make so many of the best recipes simple.
This experience was quite fun and delicious!!! Thanks so much! Extremely easy and soooo, gooood!😁
It’s my birthday and I’m locked in, I might treat myself. I been a good lady!

Very entertaining video, you're one of my favorite chefs. I will try this, thanks Jenny!
I absolutely love the recipes you make. You make every recipe seem easy to make. I enjoy you teaching me. Thank you!
Jenny Jones...What a wonderful surprise!!! I'm so happy to find you on YT.
The dino at the end & Jenni's reaction was so fun. God i needed these to watch & add to my virtual recipe box. Such a wonderful break from the Covid & stimulus videos. Thank you! You're truly making this time inside bearable. I may not be able to cook it yet for lack of ingredients due to our local food hoarders but i have plans, wonderful plans when my pantry is fully stocked ince again💖
I can't wait to try this, thank you so much for sharing. Such a cute video. I just love how friendly you seem.
gosh I'm glad I found you YOU ARE THE BEST and your sense of humour is infectious. THANK YOU

This was so easy! Thank you! I love the ending when someone tried to pull the bowl away with a dinasauer toy.
I have watched a gazillion videos on how to make a decent caramel corn and this is by far the best! Thank you so much.
I just made this recipe today, following instructions to a T. It's the best carmel corn I've ever eaten. Perfect salty-sweet ratio in my mouth and a perfect crunch. I used 1/3 cup almonds, 1/3 cup cashews and 1/3 cup pecans. Yummy.
Great recipes, step-by-step instructions, great personality + comedic relief = a dynamic combination!!😁👍
Great video! Can’t wait to try. BTW, whenever I mix anything with popcorn, I grab a second bowl of the same size, put it upside down on the other bowl, hold them together, and shake in every direction. This might work well here as well.
Jenny your personality and sense of humor absolutely changes my day for the better, thank you so much. ☺☺☺ Oh yes, the popcorn looks good to.
I made many batches of this and gave to my friends - they loved it - I keep some in metal cans - which keep it fresh - so far so good 2 weeks later - still tasty! I made more carmel for the top so it coated the popcorn more.
Jenny! I am so happy to see you on UA-cam!!
I’ve been missing you since TV Show was over😭
Your cooking is amazing. It’s simple and really delicious.
I am looking forward to watch your another delicious recipe !!
🥰
@AbcDailyVlog - Sugar, butter & corn syrup are what caramel is made from. I just omitted the cream to keep it healthier. If you try this recipe, you won't be disappointed. You'll have a healthier and delicious caramel corn.
Thank you for sharing this recipe. I have made it several times and it is a favorite here. Everyone who tries it loves it.
Jenny thanks so much for this recipe! I absolutely love it and will be making it often!
its so delecious !!!!!!!!! thank you for the great recipe :) ..for all ppl asking why bake ....it's so important to bake it for an hour cuz this is what gives the pop corn it's crispy taste ....go ahead and give it a try :)
The baking pans I use in the oven for caramel corn/roasting vegetables, etc., are heavyweight aluminum-coated steel and are NOT non-stick. I don’t know the brand since there is no writing on them. My pots & pans are all non-stick and I don’t have any concern about using them as long as they have no scratches, so I only use plastic or silicone utensils in them, never metal or wood. Target has a great line of Calphalon pots & pans that I use that’s not cheap but way less than high end stores.
I made a double batch two times and it was gone as fast as I made it! thank you for the delicious recipe. :)
Will try it! 🎄 Ty for sharing!
Jenny I tried your recipe and it is perfect!!! I suggest that you pour the whole pan of syrup into the popcorn and cover your bowl with another bowl and SHAKE IT ABOUT. Easy peasy...
Adding the nuts takes this to another level! I’ll try a test batch, and if it turns out for me, I might give this to my husband’s breakfast buddies when Christmas rolls around in 2020. Your’s looks so, so good. TFS
Thank you! I've been looking for the recipe. Cn't wait to try it!.
Jenny Jones! OMG!!! I love your show and I must say you are a fantastic artist as well as a cook. Thanks for recipes.
I'm definitely trying this tonight! Thanks for the video! :)
You're always having fun in your videos. Funny ending. Cute ladybug timer. Thanks for sharing your recipe.
Lisa C thats the best parts, she don't act too serious like others.....maybe because she Cooking in her own house and for her own pleasure, not for the UA-cam "fame" and money :)

Delicious recipe! I've made this with whatever microwave popcorn I had on hand, and it turned out fantastic. TFS!!
Great idea to make a snack to take to work and share with your co-workers during the Holiday seasons.
Great seeing your smiling face! Miss you from the teli! Look forward to trying the recipe!
I made her recipe and that stuff was IMPOSSIBLE not to eat all up in one setting!
🤣😂
Oh no.....I am home alone... its not ready yet but I turned it once after 15 min... ate some from a spoon, just to taste and it is so delicious,l. It is 1;45pm and (big problem 😀 I did not eat lunch) ... I know I will eat it all afternoon.
Lolololo
Love your kitchen! Thanks for the recipe, Jenny Jones!
Thank you Jenny your recipe was delicious,
Its definitely the best ❤
Is this Jenny Jones! OMG!!! I love her!!!
She looks so good I wonder what her secret is?
That's what I was jus saying, I MISS HER
The Last Juni
The saucepan in the video is my old non-stick Berndes but they are getting old so I'll be replacing them with the Calphalons from Target. I still like Berndes because it has glass lids for seeing your food but it's too hard to find, plus the Calphalon has glass lids too.
I have been making this for about 5 years every Christmas. Everyone loves it! Double the recipe; then the cook can keep some of it and packaging the rest for gifts.
Thank you for this video and all your videos . I love to watch you , and your sense of humor . Keep them coming .
Daniel, you can easily skip the nuts and still have great caramel corn.
Hi umm how to u do it with a caramel that is already done like buying it
Derya Mimaroglu I think you would need to find a different recipe as I do not know how mine would work with prepared caramel.
Corn syrup is so bad for I can't believe you ate that!
+Luke Divi It was good... and I didn't die. Corn syrup is not the same as high fructose corn syrup, which no one should be having.
so how to prepare "corn syrup" and not high fructose corn syrup.
I'm subscribing because you made this look so easy, and because of your sense of humor. I, too, know someone who would eat all of that caramel corn in two days........................................ahem.
20 mins
I'd eat it in one sitting...
30 seconds!
Jenny, i wish you would make more videos. I enjoy watching you so much. And all the recipes i've tried are delicious.
Been so depressed and stressed this past while. Pulled out this video again to make my favorite feel good treat. Thanks again Jenny for me so amazing and an inspiration
I went to Target today and made a note of the pans I got there. They are Calphalon "Kitchen Essentials" non-stick. As I said, they're not cheap but they're great pans. A 2-quart saucepan costs $40 at Target and a 2-quart Calphalon at Williams Sonoma is $150. (a 4-quart at Target: $50 and at Williams Sonoma: $200
Boycott Target…
I made 2 batches yesterday for a book club meeting & everyone loved it! I'm glad I didn't discover this video while pregnant. LOL
Ms. Jenny - I find you so delightful, I can't help but smile every time you do. Thanks for doin' what you're doin'.
This is the best and easiest recipe! Loved my popcorn!
LOL this is great! i'm making these today thank you Jenny! I can't stop laughing towards the end of the video hahaha
Garrett's caramel corn is very popular & tasty - I've stood in line there myself when I lived in Chicago. As a health conscious person who loves sweets, I always strive for the healthiest version of treats & my caramel corn has less saturated fat, less sugar, & less salt than Garrett's & mine has no coconut oil. As tempting as store-bought is, I encourage anyone who wants to cut back on calories to make this healthier & delicious version. Share it & everyone will ask you for the recipe!
This recipe works perfectly and seriously doesn't last a day, its so delicious!!!!
Awesome instructions!
I would leave out the salt since the soda is adding more salt. but this looks very nice. I should make this or Christmas this year, too.
Lol I'm about to make this hahaha that ending we hilarious 😂😂 I saw the little hand and I was like what was that 😂😂😂😂
Thank you for sharing Jenny. I'll try to make it asap...Hope, turned out as good as yours...
