Thank you; 6 years later it's still great to see the clash of GA old school under center 'pro style' vs Flexbone triple option. Paul Johnson showed it still works. I think the lack of boot action on handoffs which makes play action deep shots work in Under center is almost impossible in this offense, and is why teams don't use the Wishbone/Flexbone. Under center pro style depends on play action; even in the 80's and even Lombardi's packers gained more passing yards then rushing yards, by passing 1/3 of snaps.

As a two time grad of MaTech, I always love this game.
The problem that I saw with PJ was limited recruiting. He couldn't get that done. Then, his offense got to the point he was only passing 4-8 times per game. That number is too small. You have to keep the defense honest, otherwise, they crowd the line of scrimmage and just single cover the wideouts and the defense says they are going to go straight up against the offense. Once PJ had to play with his own players, the big winning seasons just were not there, except for 2014. College athletics is a hard thing and ultimately is about wins and losses. PJ will always be a part of GT. I love all of the coaches and players that ever dressed.
