If we add the other 10 not shown then that would be 198 kept) and 136 decluttered (counting the Melt stacks as 1 like Angelica mentioned)

Hi. Just a quick suggestion to help declutter after you've decluttered, especially this year with your planned move. Layout all of your palettes that you've kept. Open them so that you can see their shadows. Arrange them in color families. You may seeduplicates that can be eliminated. Merry Christmas to you and Ricardo.
Good advice! I have an album containing pics of my eyeshadow collection & I refer to it anytime I’m considering a new purchase. Seeing similarities really does help!
I've laid my 40ish palette collection open on my bed to take pictures so I can reference it easily. Definitely makes it simpler to shop when looking at new palettes and has helped me pass along a few to friends.
I like while watching declutters to play a game with myself “what would I keep if I were you”. This showed me that certainly I have a “type” and currently it’s green palette! Was drawn to almost every green in your collection. Nice to get to know my preferences :) Personally I would feel overwhelmed with so many pallets, but I like watching others collections and declutters. Aaaand I was thinking - what about your singles? :D
I do that, too. I currently feel very drawn to pastels and brights. So a lot of those would've stayed in my collection :D I wonder how the choices would be at a different time.

I moved in August 10 hours from where I was living, and moving my eyeshadow palettes was nerve-wracking because I didn’t want them to break! And I drove! Having to rely on the airplane to not break my stuff would give me so much anxiety! So I will send out the good vibes for your move that everything arrives safely and intact!
I moved a few years ago, twice in one year (it's a long story) and I didn't move far, but I did not trust any of my make-up with the moving company either time! I'm disabled but I loaded my car (slowly and painfully) and took the palettes myself.
I moved from Australia to America and wrapped every single one of my eye shadow palettes in bubble wrap..they went in a shipping container and were on a cargo ship for appx 3 months and I don't think a single one broke!
Ooo.. 15 minutes in and I already see a pattern... what you throw away would be my keep pile, LOL. 😅 I did see this coming, we are gravitating to different stuff, but you are so fun to watch. 🥰

As a big Melt fan, maryjane and radioactive surprised me a little. Pinx I gave away and I didn't even buy 420 after hearing the reviews so they didn't hurt as much!
It's a gorgeous colour story and firs so well with what they'd already released so it's a shame. It would be cool if they reformulated and re-released someday.

I am moving to another country in April and I already packed the majority of my palettes, lol. I decluttered quite a few before I packed them, but I think once I’m there, I’ll see which ones I actually missed and declutter more. A bit counterproductive, but I regret having SO MUCH, I wish my collection was more curated.
So angie me and you seem to be the only people who struggle with beauty bay shimmers creasing lol. Heres how i avoid it and you should try it. Start with sigma primer, use all your mattes as normal. Then make sure you set the area you want to put the shimmers, with either just a bone shadow or similar colour to the shimmer, but make sure its SET. Then use a tiny bit of the nyx glitter glue on the area and then go in with the shimmer. A couple still do crease but i found this helps stop most of them creasing. Yes its extra work but worth it cause theyre so stunning.

I feel as if a collection this big requires multiple stages. One has to go through once, and then at least a second time to narrow it down even further, picking apart color stories to focus on different colors one loves. Even that may take multiple passes, uhg. So tough! I still mourn the pallets I had to leave back in the states earlier this year. Shipping is so expensive to the EU, plus I would have to pay VAT even though it's my stuff!

My All That palette from Colourpop also smelled…even though it was brand new it already had that crayon smell that cosmetics get when expired, and the one time I used it, it burned my eyes. Wondering if it has something to do with the specific formula of the palette, as I’ve never had an issue like that with any other Colourpop palette!
In the future you can color tag your makeup according to a Yes/No/Maybe system after you've used them. It's more efficient and you"ll save tons of precious time :) All you need is some markers!
As I’m approaching 100 palettes and feeling that the more I have the less I get to use something that I bought cuz I like and was excited to own cuz you can only wear so many eyeshadows during a year, I can appreciate this decluttering. I can’t imagine this been my job!
The ND Bronze palette has such a beautiful formula and there is not a single dud shade in the palette. My only critique for the palette is that there are very limited amount of different looks you can do with it, bc the shadows have a similar tone and colours. For me the Bronze palette is a favorite summer time palette.
This is just what I needed to pass the time while I've discovered I have COVID (that's what I get for leaving the house once!) Thanks for all the content Angie ❤️
~320 palettes in total..? And my colleagues at work we’re being, like, “you’ve got 30, it’s so much! What are you doing with them?” I honestly felt a bit bad, but then again I said I do a lot of looks outside the work, and, let’s be honest, while you find the stuff that works fine for you, it takes to go through a lot of stuff to try. Although, can’t lie, it’s probably easier indeed when you find a person in beauty community with similar preferences. It might be some unnecesary buys otherwise, so, appreciate everyone who does that, so, people can save some time and money based on reviews and similar preferences. ♥️🌟
I love that you are generous with your items! I don't know what I would do with people asking for stuff but I know the USA will be better off with more color!!
I recently decluttered my wardrobe and it's amazing how much you hold on to for strange emotional reasons or "fear" of being caught without. As soon as I asked myself "when did you last wear this?"/"will you really notice it's gone?" I held onto skirts longer than the company that made them survived!😄 It does make you think about all the problems with such "competitive consumerism" and what ends up in landfill. I hope someone got use out of my old stuff!
Angie- just an idea for a future video.... Maybe you could put some of your make up in categories (like grungy green palettes, berries palettes, golds, cool toned) and could suggest different ones and your reasons for choosing one over another. As I watched you go through, I saw several similar color stories and was thinking, "hmm I am in the market for a grungy green, I wonder if Angie would suggest the smoke sessions or the Kaledos one?" Ok, that was a long comment:) Thanks for making my timeline more colorful :)
I just can feel the your pain. I know how you love makeup, and sometimes it is really so hard to part with them. Like, thinking if one day you end up wanting to use something then remembering you decluttered it. Argh! I think it would make it a little bit easier to decide if you think what would be easily available in the US, too. Like, if if it's not limited edition and easily available in the US, it would be easier to part with it. Maybe? Another consolation, too, is there are tons of sales in the US.

I love the Odens Eye small palettes...I depotted all of them for space purposes and saves so much room although I miss the mini packaging.

do it before you move. open it up in like Feb and get rid of anything you don't miss.

I feel as if a collection this big requires multiple stages. One has to go through once, and then at least a second time to narrow it down even further, picking apart color stories to focus on different colors one loves. Even that may take multiple passes, uhg. So tough!
I still mourn the pallets I had to leave back in the states earlier this year. Shipping is so expensive to the EU, plus I would have to pay VAT even though it's my stuff!

My All That palette from Colourpop also smelled…even though it was brand new it already had that crayon smell that cosmetics get when expired, and the one time I used it, it burned my eyes. Wondering if it has something to do with the specific formula of the palette, as I’ve never had an issue like that with any other Colourpop palette!

In the future you can color tag your makeup according to a Yes/No/Maybe system after you've used them. It's more efficient and you"ll save tons of precious time :) All you need is some markers!
As I’m approaching 100 palettes and feeling that the more I have the less I get to use something that I bought cuz I like and was excited to own cuz you can only wear so many eyeshadows during a year, I can appreciate this decluttering. I can’t imagine this been my job!

The ND Bronze palette has such a beautiful formula and there is not a single dud shade in the palette. My only critique for the palette is that there are very limited amount of different looks you can do with it, bc the shadows have a similar tone and colours. For me the Bronze palette is a favorite summer time palette.

~320 palettes in total..? And my colleagues at work we’re being, like, “you’ve got 30, it’s so much! What are you doing with them?” I honestly felt a bit bad, but then again I said I do a lot of looks outside the work, and, let’s be honest, while you find the stuff that works fine for you, it takes to go through a lot of stuff to try.
Although, can’t lie, it’s probably easier indeed when you find a person in beauty community with similar preferences. It might be some unnecesary buys otherwise, so, appreciate everyone who does that, so, people can save some time and money based on reviews and similar preferences. ♥️🌟
I love that you are generous with your items! I don't know what I would do with people asking for stuff but I know the USA will be better off with more color!!
I recently decluttered my wardrobe and it's amazing how much you hold on to for strange emotional reasons or "fear" of being caught without. As soon as I asked myself "when did you last wear this?"/"will you really notice it's gone?" I held onto skirts longer than the company that made them survived!😄 It does make you think about all the problems with such "competitive consumerism" and what ends up in landfill. I hope someone got use out of my old stuff!
I bet if you went through them again you would declutter at least another 30 or so.
Angie- just an idea for a future video.... Maybe you could put some of your make up in categories (like grungy green palettes, berries palettes, golds, cool toned) and could suggest different ones and your reasons for choosing one over another. As I watched you go through, I saw several similar color stories and was thinking, "hmm I am in the market for a grungy green, I wonder if Angie would suggest the smoke sessions or the Kaledos one?" Ok, that was a long comment:) Thanks for making my timeline more colorful :)

I just can feel the your pain. I know how you love makeup, and sometimes it is really so hard to part with them. Like, thinking if one day you end up wanting to use something then remembering you decluttered it. Argh!
I think it would make it a little bit easier to decide if you think what would be easily available in the US, too. Like, if if it's not limited edition and easily available in the US, it would be easier to part with it. Maybe? Another consolation, too, is there are tons of sales in the US.
