Nirvana will never be forgotten. The simple riffs Kurt made proved that riffs don’t have to be technical to make it a good song. I’m currently starting a band rn, and I’ll always give credit to Nirvana for inspiring our riffs.
You can't be misanthropic when you write a love song like that. Kurt had emotional deficiencies, but he wrote this song when he was happy to discover love. A great song. And what great inspiration! Great riff!

i dont know what it is about nirvana it just gives me this nostalgic sweet feeling, and a slight feeling of sadness,i cant describe it,it makes the air diffrent and i have no other way of describing it.
The whole Nevermind album is full of Beatle inspired pop hooks. 'Drain You' is the perfect example of combining a beautiful melody with a cutting edge.
This song is just perfect in everyway. I don't what it is about it, but it always gives me this weird nostalgic feeling of teen angst and love thats hard to describe
Listening to "Drain You" invites not just an emotional but also an interpretive engagement. The listener, harboring a dream of living a great love story, may find themselves reflecting on the lyrics and music in relation to their own life experiences and desires. The song becomes a canvas onto which they project their longing, fears, and hopes about love. The act of listening thus transforms into a deeply personal experience, where the song's narrative intertwines with the listener's internal narrative, creating a unique and subjective interpretation.
This song means so fucking much to me. It’s one of those that I can never get tired of hearing, an immortal theme. Sure, it’s not the most complex piece of music ever, but it doesn’t have to be. It’s just damn good, and that’s more than enough. Brings me back lots of memories too, makes the song better for me.
I swear to god I feel the same way every time I listen to Drain You it’s like the first time, lots of memories in the early 90’s with my brothers and this album too.
