He is the OG of this style and he absolutely kills it in this and puts the recipe that got the world watching him on show. Look at his confidence. His energy was levels above anyone else, he makes you feel like you can be that confident and that hyped, its his personality as much as it is the music. He was going to be a goat in hip hop and take over, he was extremely young, like early early 20s and he had the game in a headlock. The killers robbed us of something that rarely happens in hiphop, imagine him if he survived and worked on his rapping for like five years and got out of the streets. Watch his LA lakers freestyle if you think he can’t actually rap btw. He was so unique and you see his talent in that one. This one just showed off pop smoke and his confidence and style.
As a fan of rap in the 2000s, then I saw absolutely nothing for 10 years that wowed me, a few songs from asap, few songs from kanye, the usual hits and stuff. But when Pop hit the scene, I said this dude will blow up like 50 cent did. Then the news broke.... Sick world....
