@@tomatoherb not quite a long essay but my perspective on it is two-fold. On one hand, at its simplest this is a really interesting hint towards the dimilix dynamic. Felix was always following Dimitri, even as children and despite his hatred of what Dimitri had become. In their paired ending he pretty much becomes the kings right hand. It only makes sense that he would take on some of his mannerisms, too. Beyond that, it's a really interesting hint to how Felix ends up in non-lions routes. With the eagles and deer, Felix kind of becomes what he hated Dimitri for. In his endings, he often becomes a sellsword, someone who kills without remorse or recognition, and he often dies that way. Iirc, he even mentions such similarities in the Crimson Flower route. Maybe he hasnt gone totally feral like Dima had, but he's close. And maybe that shows in his word choice during battle.

Byleth Dimitri and Felix absorbing all my EXP did nothing for the rest of my team. Wasn't really a massive issue but god I'm really considering making him an assassin next run so everyone ignores him.
Same though..I kinda gave him and Byleth a bit too much attention but I don't care :) It was funny how on the final map the others protected these two from behind while Byleth and Dimitri just one shotted Edgelord all the time🙏
And essentially being used for bloodline like some dumb stereotypical blond (which isnt true obviously) poor son had enough problems and he plays it off but it sucks he says in one of his dialogues he was jealous because Byleth and ignore her Status but he cant cause family crap thats why hes one of my favorite bois vwv plus he was a amazing dark magic knight in game i flew by with him

@@YourCrazyDolphin Sad moment. Dedue is the only character in the game I'd consider making an armored unit, so I get what you mean. Especially my stat screwed Armored Edelgard. Compared to my somehow also stat screwed Hubert and not enough time to Master Class that run was definitely my worst experience.
He's still good on maddening. But it DOES level the field a bit. He's a beast the first few chapters with some gauntless because his crest is stupid op.
