In this video, I address the recent incident in Kyrgyzstan that has been making rounds on social media. Tommy Robinson posted a video suggesting that Pakistani students left Kyrgyzstan after allegedly molesting local girls. However, the truth is far from these rumours.
I delve into what actually happened on 13/05/2024, when Egyptian men got into a fight with locals, sparking a wave of violence against all international students, including Pakistanis, Indians, and Bangladeshis. These students were unfairly targeted due to cultural misunderstandings and misinformation.
    Key Points Covered:
*The origin of the conflict and the viral video that incited local outrage
*How international students, especially Pakistanis, bore the brunt of the violence
*The role of cultural misunderstandings and unverified allegations
*Statements from Dr. Jaishankar, the Foreign Minister of India, and Pakistan’s PM, Shahbaz Sharif

My personal experience, I'm not painting all Pakistanis but when I was in the Philippines I had both Indian and Pakistani friends. My Indian friends never uttered a bad word about Pakistanis or Pakistan but my Pakistani friends were obsessed with bashing my Indian friends, all Indians, and India non stop. I got tired of it and told them do you know you are all Indian? To my surprise none of them knew and they thought I was being a troll. I told them their grandparents or great grandparents were from India and to look it up. A few days later one of them admitted yes his grandparents were from India and he was in utter shock and disbelief. They have this hatred towards India because they dont know their own history or the full story. My Indian friends were Sikh and Pakistani friends were muslims.

Harris, yesterday i joined a Twitter space created by pak journalists and students in Kyrgyzstan, the students told that the locals were basically fed up of sudden influx of pak students and workers who were brought by the students and contractors on basis of visit Visas to further send them to Europe illegally. This and other event involving Egyptian nationals led to the conflict. If you are in contact of any students there, you can verify the info, pak workers are there illegally doing food deliveries and other odd jobs. The students and contractors get a hefty 800-1000$ commission per worker.

@piecelow2726 they should, I agree with the cultural training thing. The problem is, and we see thins from all sides of the coin, way too many people, even if they know, they ignore the local culture. Some of the most famous ones are the American Karen's going to Europe or Asia and expecting to things be like what they are in the US. And while Americans may be loud and abnoxious and tell a bus driver in China to "go back to China" (yes, I've seen the video of that, it's ridiculously idiotic) the "entering culture" isn't touching people's kids. Like, how exactly do people think that their culture and the local culture are the same when they go to a different country? What's what makes no sense to me. You're in a country that isn't your own, isn't it expected that there are going to be differences in cultural things? "It's their culture" isn't an excuse.

Medical students who received their medical degrees from these Central Asian republics are neither respected not considered real Doctors in India. Not sure how they are seen in other Asian countries. Degrees from Ukraine, Kyrgyz & similar countries are, in generally, seen as bought by unqualified students & are not credible, even if they pass the local exam later. They're seen as students who fell in the traps laid by education consultants who market these degrees as having value, whereas in reality, patients in India avoid such degree holders. It's just sad all these students in hopes for a better future are left at the mercy of hooligans in a distant lawless land

For example, I don't think there are countries where there's zero foreign students, unless they're ravaged by war or smth.
I live in Romania & a friend of mine studied dentistry. What I noticed in her university is that there were quite a lot of Italian (and other) students that had moved to Romania just to make their Bachelors (and Masters or PhD, I think) there. The reason is that Dental Medicine programmes are quite expensive & the tuition was significantly lower than in Italy, while the education level was still pretty good.
