Everyone knows that at least 40% of your overall tone is in the screws, the effect on dynamic resonance is totally measurable to even the untrained ear.
The dude with the skully Epi LP is like those motorcycle guys who slap on a ton of bolt on trash and think it adds $K's to the value, but it actually devalues the item.
Because he’s smart and he knows that “modifying” a guitar devalues it while “upgrading” it immediately adds $1,000 to the price. It doesn’t matter what you do to the guitar as long as you specify that it’s an “upgrade” and not any other type of modification
3:30 ish No offense taken, I live in Alabama. I have a 100% been that guy that said "we gon do this guitar right up" Then done similar stupid shit to my buddy's guitar.
I’ve been subbed for 4 years now and I still love ya!!!!!! I love this series. It’s like Philip McKnight’s “Sharpen My Axe”. This and “Rate or Roast My Rig” are home run’s for you my friend!!!!!! Thanks and keep it up.
I’ve watched the last three back to back. This is soooo fucking awesome! You’ve gotten slightly more angry and flippant lol it’s been an entertaining progression!
Dude this series is why I subscribed to your channel!!!! I love the crazy stuff you find on Reverb!!!! I do like the Reverb site and I have bought a lot of gear off that site, but your finds are the funniest!!!!!!
Great episode today - thanks for going into some of the background for some of the items - good to know that some are actually legitimate collectors items, but not at all priced appropriately.
Once upon a time Reverb was a great place for picking up a nice used guitar for a great price; now it's scalpers paradise and etsyfied. Don't get me wrong, I still like it but I want my old Reverb back.
Hey Fluff- if you're ever on Long Island and want to see the 76 pound Ibanez in person- stop by All Music Inc in Plainview, NY. BTW- it's a collectors item, we actually dropped the price DOWN to the last legit offer we got, but the shipping to Japan was a killer.
I enjoy the heck out of these videos-it is nice to know that I'm not the ONLY one that sees some of these listings on Reverb and thinks, "recreational drug usage IS increasing all over the world"!
Idea for Mr Fluff, maybe you can also find ridiculously under priced items on Reverb. Seeing someone sell something they don’t know is really valuable may just be as shocking as jerks who over price pickguard screws or Epiphones.
Fellow musician, More of a funk/jam guy myself, but your Reverb series made me subscribe immediately lol. Excellent commentary 😂 Come on people, subscribe.
Lol it's about time, this series is my favorite. Believe it or not these episodes are desensitizing my consumerism on all levels 😅🙄. Ha ha ha ha the fuckin screws!! Ha ha ha!!🤣
I love that you swear - Bleeps and Bloops not withstanding - because that's how I react when I see some of this slop on Reverb. I've also felt the sting of paying WAY too much for something, then, when I needed the coin, having to turn around and sell it again for pennies on the dollar for what I paid. I once bought an original digitech WH-1 with the original box, power supply etc...mint for $850 plus shipping. I sold it for $120.00 two years later because I fell on hard times. Times are MUCH better for me now, but I'll be damned if I'll ever pay that kind of money or mark-up % over list price for a piece of gear ever again. EVER.
I ran across that Epi yesterday when it popped into my feed. I was so indignant I had to yell for my wife and we both made fun of the dude lol. Great series Fluff you da man.
Thoroughly enjoyed this and all of your other episodes in this series. Fun fact, two years ago while garage-saling for records, I found an extremely clean first-gen Tube-Screamer in the box for $20 and No, it’s Not for sale! 🙃
That matte yellow on that flathead looked amazing. Gonna be building my first kit guitar at some point this year...think I just found what color I'm going to paint it.
The brass Ibanez reminds me of a Velano I checked out at Emerald City back in the early 2000’s. It belonged to one of the guys from Tesla. It was heavier than a pair of 70’s Les Pauls but not anywhere near 70 pounds.
Yeah, i have visited Woodstock Guitars... Though only the one in Copenhagen. Amazing inventory of interesting music equipment.... Nice store.... Absolutely insane prices...
I love this series; I would also be interested in a “legit” Reverb listing series also, where it’s genuinely valuable stuff.
Yeah, there are very little reverb listing of that nature that last more than a few hours.
That is an amazing idea.....fluff if ur reading comments...you should at least consider the idea bro....cuz it is a cool thing you got goin here
Ya know I had thought about that but since the good ones are indeed good, they would always be gone by the time I got around to shooting the video.
Wouldn't that also drive up the prices?
Yes, Phillips, it would. No thanks, life's hard enough as it is.

Dang, I just made the exact same joke... better delete it and just like this one ;-).
I need those 1951 Esquire screws, imagine the tone!
Everyone knows that at least 40% of your overall tone is in the screws, the effect on dynamic resonance is totally measurable to even the untrained ear.
If you think that’s a lot weight till you see how much people pay for Gibson knobs
Nah man imagine how much tone are in the strap locks

I would love for him to make another video about the guy with the Tom Delonge ES-330 lol
@@connornyhan8369 ‘Riduculous Reverb Listings, the Reunion’ lol
@@mirraco323 You mean the guitar he was completely wrong about and Fluff has "apologized" for being wrong about?
That Gibson poster has been up for a while, I think I noticed it back around thanksgiving.
This has so quickly become one of my favorite things to watch.
This series is great! These people smoke mega joints and drink the bong water consistently.
Funny man
did you say ganja joints? lollll
next i'll go drink some "alcohol beer" instead
“Watch big bird beat you with this guitar” Priceless 😂😂
Please start each of these with a high pitched "FIRST LISTING!"
Poor guy is gonna be falsetto in every video. Lolol
76 pounds of pure brass?
Did someone order “rock n’ roll” with a side of scoliosis?
7:45 imagine buying this, hanging it on your wall just to come home and see it has fallen and the headstock has separated from the neck.
You will be happy with your purchase, because You had an authentic Gibson

1800 for an epiphone?!? Yeah you're ready for rehab! Lol you're a damn fool Fluff bahahaha keep em coming. I live for the roasts 😂
A Tom Delonge Epiphone sold for 2000 this week. Crazy how much they go for nowadays.
Every time Fluff cusses, a demon gets it’s wings.
That brass Ibby is still lighter than the average Les Paul
hah!
Lead is heavier than brass
Hell you could practice scales and do good mornings all in one shot.
76 lbs?
*laughs in vintage SVT*
He actually said “all intents and purposes” the right way, instead of “all intensive purposes”.

Hands down my favorite videos. I check daily for them
That brass guitar would be like playing with a Mesa Dual Rectifier strapped around you neck. 76lbs? I think only Kevin Frasard could play it.
Id give it a go, assuming I can find a strap that can hold that girth. But after a few songs it'd be like, yep I'm done. Forever.
He's exactly the person I thought of lol
Kyle and his Epi LP is playing all 5FDP tunes and punching drywall like a MFer 😜

Great episode today - thanks for going into some of the background for some of the items - good to know that some are actually legitimate collectors items, but not at all priced appropriately.

Now that is one Heavy Metal guitar!
Thank god there is another one of these for me to watch tonight.
The Brass guitar actually sold for 25K last time in 2014 xD
Love the Fat Wreck Chords shirt. Very important record label for my formative years.
I must commend you on your dramatic pause/ soap opera stare... bravo sir.. bravo👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
These are definitely my favorite part of this channel.. fluff won't let em off easy! 🤣
Can I say that I love the fact that after what happened with the last video that fluff is still going hard on these people. Awesome sauce LOL!

The tube screamer had me laughing so hard it hurt. Loving this series.

The weight of the brass guitar is like a spinal tap thing like "Here's excaliburtar, the only one strong enough to pick it up can play it"
I laughed way too hard at the Big Bird comment😂
This is my new favourite series XD
Heh.... your roasts are getting better by the episode. I about choked on the sandwich I was eating.
That tubescreamer switching system is amazing... just plain amazing.

Another banger! Felt so short though haha. Priceless as always Fluff, appreciate you!
But fluff that custom les Paul was used on the intro song to the hit tv show Criss Angel mindfreak, clearly.
Great series, always look forward to new episodes
I freaking love these vids. Please do one a week!!!!
Love these. What gets me the most is the amount of watchers for these listings. Crazy.
I wonder if a percentage of people watching own the same item and want to see what it sells for in case they want to list theirs afterward.
Have to get Kevin Frasard to try out that all brass beast lol
