Thank you ❤ for sharing this amazing wonderful vedio 🐦birds is really very very beautiful all and your heart is really pure bcz in birds ko khana fruits like etc bahut kam log khilate hain🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Just came upon this beautiful, tranquil video. God's beautifully colored birds enjoying their snack. It's amazing how many different species and colors exist in the jungle. Costa Rica ecotour is on my bucket list. Thank you for posting!
Don't wanna go to Costa Rica, BUT watch your video's. I have NEVER seen such a beautiful blue bird. The birds around here won't eat banana's. Thanks for the video!
Great video of Costa Rica birds and great seafood at Gringo Curt's. Try the fish wrapped in banana leaves cooked over the grill...best ever. We loved Drake Bay, CR.
Im in absolute AWE... at how incredibly beautiful all these birds are. I love all birds and thy r all magnificent in their own ways, however i wasnt aware of the amazing selection of colourful birds in Costa Rica. Ive been really educated with ur lovely video. I hope one day i can visit ur beautiful country and view some of these birds. The forest sounds r so hypnotic, i could watch 4 hours lol. Thanks so much 4 sharing this, i really appreciate it alot 😁 Peace, love, light, unity, harmony and respect to all! 🐦 🐦 💙 🐦 🐦 Ps. Liked - commented and so definitely subscribed!
It's just so amazing seeing all these gorgeous birds (shout out to those green honeycreepers, stunning how different, but brilliantly coloured both the male and females are). I'm also amazed how civilised they all are, I mean considering the number of species and the number of birds, there's very little squabbling.
I'm very happy that you enjoyed the video. I think birds are like many other animals in that they understand why there is no need to spend energy fighting for something that is readily abundant. Fascinatingly, no animal has ever warred over its most important and immediate need, oxygen. The solution to world peace is in there somewhere. Thanks for the support!
Our planet is amazing, there isn't one color in the spectrum that isn't used by some birds. They cover all colors possible and yet are all beautifully straight male or female. No psychological pathological behavior among birds about their roles.
It makes me wonder if the birds in Ontario in the summer would eat banana. I am wondering this because a lot of these birds are seed or insect eaters. Guess I’ll find out this summer. I also wish I knew the name of these birds because some look familiar to Ontario birds. I think this is the most birds I’ve ever seen at a bird feeder.
The names of all these birds are listed in the description. If there is a particular bird that you would like identified, tell me the time stamp and the colors. I'll get back to you. Thanks for watching!
If you are getting bugs then the birds are obviously not eating it quickly enough. You might not be offering their preferred fruits. Banana plants grow plentiful here. I recommend offering something that they would most commonly find in your natural environment. Birds feel most comfortable if they have lots of get away options. Because of this having a feeder high above the ground will be the most effective. Spread the food out as much as possible. This will help prevent big birds from chasing off small birds. Much like in humanity, if the resources are easily accessible and available their will be no warring.
Wow! Thanks for the video...love it!! I had no idea so many birds love banana. Do North American birds like them also? I wonder why we don't see any parrots at this feeding spot?
It was at my restaurant, which is closed now. We are starting a new feeder at our house, so more bird videos and new species are coming soon. Cocina de Ana is a great little restaurant for birders at the moment.
@@GringoCurt thanks for the info. Appreciate. I watched your snorkeling videos, whale encounters, spotted tapirs and turtle encounter as well. Your living in paradise.!
That's really interesting about the grape jelly. I wouldn't have thought of trying it. I have put out mangoes on many occasions without success. As for not getting your orioles to eat bananas, it took a few years of feeding other birds bananas before I started getting the orioles. bananas are not naturally from Costa Rica so technically all the birds here had to learn that they like them. The scarlet macaws here do not know it but they love papaya, even though they do grow here naturally. I've been to an avian rehab and witnessed a macaw that wouldn't even try it for hours.. once he did then he tore it up.. he acted like he hadn't eaten for weeks even thought he was eating almonds not long prior. he was literally panting after he finished eating what we put out for him.. bananas here are really cheap. i put out between 50-100 bananas per day so cost was definitely a big decision maker for me. Thanks for commenting and I'm glad that you enjoyed the video.
@@GringoCurt thanks. I love tanagers but none ever visit me. I wish more tropical birds would migrate. would love to have toucans in my backyard in Canada.
Hi JiHyun, at 2.43 you can see a Green Honeycreeper, male juvenile that is in the process of changing to his adult plumage. At 15.02, you can see the adult male in the foreground (turquoise with a black head) and then a female which is all grass green. You're right, they are absolutely adorable!
What a burden is modern materialistic life..so ignoramus it renders us. What I see in video is seriously missed moments ... due to debauched life. It drives me mad to have been missing all these gods blessed divine pleasures. Appreciate that at least in digital format video has inculcated a sense of life's worthy moments to be achieved and return back to nature. Thanks a lot. Every time I see such natural videos some thing in me dies I regret all what am missing.
Drake's Bay is very remote, very little power available intermittently. You have to cross Pirate infested waters to get there. Don't go! Danger Danger Danger!
birds are the most sacred species on earth. When humans get wiped out, birds will be the living breath of this planet in all there harmony. God made the birds, there day will come, where they can live in peace from being killed and poached and hunted and generally killed and sold as pets. God bless birds and thankyou god for giving these things to us to see.
The bird feeder was indeed right next to the restaurant tables. Unfortunately, the restaurant is now closed, but we are currently working on a new (even better) birding project in Drake Bay. Stay tuned, as we hope to be posting information about it soon!

Are the brown ones the Tropical Mocking birds? They're some real bossy MFs. Do all these birds just eat fruits? Sorry if you have already answered these ?s
The mockingbird is grey. I think you're describing Costa Rica's national bird, the Clay-colored Thrush. Definitely the most aggressive visitor and biggest reason to spread the bananas far apart.
Curt I love watching your bird videos , you put out such beautiful videos and such beautiful birds coming together to grab a bite to eat , thank you .

I’m amazed at the amount of food these birds can eat at a time! I could just sit there for hours. 🦋

Really lovely bananas but all these colorful birds are stealing the show 😁👍
makes me wonder what the garden of Eden really must have been like🤯🤯🤯
18 people don’t like beautiful birdies!?
I love those charcoal black wasps too.

The ethereal whistle you hear in the background of the video is performed by the Chestnut-backed Antbird.
Did he/she make an appearance? Maybe not. Wasn't listed as visitor's.
Need a live camera for this. It's so awedome!
wow, what a paradise for the birds....just beautiful

Y'all should have a live cam all the time. I think it'd be great!
Absolutely fantastic video. Thanks for posting it !
It's great how the insects just sit down and start eating in their own section and only leave when the birds get rowdy.
I love how we can also hear the construction site and the steaks sizzling in the pan

Wonder why North America does not have these colorful birds, the climate maybe?

lol'd at the wasp panicking @5:51 after it got tossed and started stinging the banana
its good to see them getting something to eat..
