THE LIGHTHOUSE BUILD

This is a video of repurposed construction materials.
The main frame is four wooden wire spools, each one cut smaller then screwed together. The spools where then covered with 1X3 pine boards then a fiberglass covering. The lights are powered by a trickle charger connected to a motor cycle battery which powers the 12volt “trailer marker lights” that shine through the door and windows. The top light fixture was an old street light that I removed the inner wiring and replaced it with an old rotating 12 volt plow light.
My property is on a point on the Oneida river in NY where three branches of water meet. Thought it would be fitting to light up the canal for nighttime boaters!

This is so awesome! Fantastic job - you are very creative. I'm sure the boaters passing by during the day, and especially at night, love it. The flashing light is a great touch, too!
