Great review! I own a medium rewind and love it but thinking about trying out the pike at some point. I'm 200lbs. Do you know anyone at the top of the weight range that's used one of these?
Glad to see some more Prijon stoke in the US. Had a Pure XL forever added a Curve Creek a couple years ago and some old school models (Delirious, Fly, Athlete, Luv). Would love to get into a Pike and a Cocaine.
Thanks CB. I'd love to get a cocaine to review. Seems too similar to a 9r2 (an old ex boat of mine) so not to interested in purchasing one, but I'd love to review it
Thanks Wade you are definitely a huge inspiration when it comes to the boat reviews. I will be coming out next fall for Gauley releases. Let me know if you come around CO this spring
Hey, I know the water is pretty scarce out there by now, but did you get it on a good eddy line yet? I'd be interested in how stable it is once you get the stern engaged.
Na man not yet. Only had a tease before the water dropped. Seems to want to stand up just might be harder to engage because it doesn't have any scoop like the rewind.
I would say compared to the dagger outfitting it lacks the crotch adjustment of course but it does have a generous bump in between the legs. I like the bow pillar in the dagger boats more but I like the thigh hooks in this Prijon more. I prefer the dagger seat but prefer the prion hip pads. I'd say they are very comparable and if that's what it comes down to I wouldn't say either way one outfitting is superior. I feel like you buy this Prijon because of what it's made of, not because of the outfiting or hull design. But with that being said I also think this outfitting is 10 times better than Pyranha and liquid logic
@@cbrunner420 I got the red pro lol. Actually like that color a lot. It's not the green I was expecting. I was a little upset they riveted their store tag on the boat after explicitly telling them not to.
@@tambourineman97 yeah not sure if I'd recommend working with them again. Unfortunately they're the only importer right now. Are you sure Pat's peaks and paddles put that on there? I'm curious if prijon installed that before it left the factory. I customized my tag
@@cbrunner420 I wonderd that also since it looked like it arrived in the original packaging. I asked them back in January when I pre-ordered it not to put it on there and they said they wouldn't. On my cocaine, it's right at the end of the stern. The prijon tags riveted on are all recessed in the plastic and better protected. The PPP tag on my cocaine has snagged on various things and doesn't sit flush. At least on the pike it's in a little better spot. My Curve Creek and Cali came from Darin with no additional holes.
Nice! I've had mine for 2 weeks now and it's a really great design and a lot of fun. Looks like we have a lot of the same boats. Sweet channel.
Thanks Dustin
Most Soul kayaks, all Riot kayaks, and all Savage kayaks had the cockpit sitting below the deck level. It's an idea that's only about 30 years old ;-)

Awesome :)
Thanks for making a great boat!
Nice walkthrough would love to give this kayak a go are you ever coming over to east coast?

How comfortable is the outfitting? Does it compare to the dagger outfitting?

@@cbrunner420 sounds great, thanks! Really hoping to get my hands on one
What color is that? Looks like yellow but the site only shows green and red.
This is the "green" I ordered a red but Paths Peaks and paddles sent me the wrong color 😔. I call it tennis ball

@@tambourineman97 I sanded the tag smooth and then engraved my name and number on it 😂

Where do I get one!
You can contact Paths Peaks & Paddles that's where I got mine. They are the only importer of Prijon Kayaks in the USA right now
How much?
They retail for 1400 before tax and shipping
I'm forsure too fat for that boat.
