@@thegoodsmaster the forward facing one is far more dangerous, since the front bump is way less safe just in general. Back bump is the safest of the bumps. Splash bump isn't too bad since you're landing on forearm essentially, but it's still quite a nerve shock all the same. No chance really of hitting your head, though. Falling backwards, wrestlers are trained to jolt the neck in to absorb the shock (and have built neck muscles to allow such a thing). The arms striking to the side helps that too, putting shoulder muscles (again, usually quite built ones) in the way like a pillow. Falling forwards is a lot trickier. Far more difficult to jolt the neck backwards quickly. The standard practice is to turn your head sideways instead, and block with your hands. Avoids the change of hitting your nose on the ground. A Benoit style headbutt was especially dangerous, as he made a point of not putting his hands in front of his face. Some people can do this reliably but he's the example of how difficult it is to tell if someone's doing it right or if they're just not caring that they're doing it wrong. Coffin Drop, way less dangerous move than diving headbutt. Actually probably one of Allin's less dangerous moves, given the other stuff he does.
