Sanctions were designed to show the Russian people the West is pissed. To remind them whenever they go out. They work without costing the west much money. However they are very much a token. Unfortunately the only thing that will change Russia's love affair with Putin is war. I just hope you don't get caught up in it. What is though sure is that whatever happens for the rest of your life you will be living in a country scared by the sheer loss of men. Especially given that your birth rate is so low. When the dust settles the dead don't rise again.

I admire the creative way they have managed to stay in business in spite of the harsh sanctions. The ordinary Russian business owners shouldn't be punished for the decisions of their political leaders. Respect.
I read in another comment on a different video about McDonald's in Russia after the sanctions: FRANCHISE businesses, like McDonald's, licenses out the branding, the recipes, and access to McDonald's products from the company. The Russian restaurants would still know the recipes and then can source their McDonald's product from a trade partner like China who isn't sanctioned like this.
This should happen in western countries. Imagine the benefits our countries would get if our monopolies were nationalized. Probably the best thing Russia has gained from this war.
Just went to a McDonald's in NY yesterday, three burgers were 32.00 and they couldn't even bother to put them together .. boxes open, meat patty in bottom of bag.. hope it's better there

Went to Moscow couple of years ago. I got tradition to visit MC in every country I visit. We went to MC and tried there shrimp burger and Cola. We visited MC every day after that. Still remember that amazing burger and no idea what they added to that Cola. Did not find in any other country that shrimp burger..
Looks better and more organized than any McDonald's I've visited here in the USA. Cleaner, too. Hopefully, they don't mess up your orders or have an attitude like they do here. I stopped going.
The Western MacDonald’s execs had to teach the Russian employees to smile and be friendlier! The Russian people, culturally, do not smile at strangers, as we do here in the West, and tend to be too forthright, abrupt, etc! I grew up there!
They just took over the entire business model. I'm sure they produced for McDonald's before, so they didn't really replace much. Honestly, it looks like McDonald's is still operating behind.
So what did you expect? The fact that you were told on TV that we won't have it, lol... Even taking into account all the sanctions, we have all the goods, and then the media hang noodles on your ears, these sanctions are not beneficial to other countries, they can get out as they can))

I'm starting to feel like no brands actually left Russia.
a lot of tech brands left and that caused the price on many tech brands to skyrocket at the start of the war, but now everything is almost fine
Why would these big companies ever refuse profit? Virtue signalling in this war isn't gonna get them that far.
It is difficult to get electronics and the Western automobile brands, etc! The prices have skyrocketed for the foreign goods!
@@lenitaa7938 difficult? on the contrary, it has become easier, we have never had so many goods, but after the new package of sanctions, small companies have entered into business and are importing everything that can be sold
Well, it's true. I guess Russia needed some time to think about alternative ways for getting western goods. I'm surprised that prices for tech stuff is mostly the same as it was before.
After the sanctions hit, in my life, I can confidently say, that absolutely nothing has changed since then lmao, everything that was taken away form us is either already replaced with basically the same products (or even better sometimes) or is still there but through resellers, and I'm just a regular teenager, I'm not rich, nor poor. Bros did not cook anything by applying sanctions lol
I hope u wont get drafted
Sanctions were designed to show the Russian people the West is pissed. To remind them whenever they go out. They work without costing the west much money. However they are very much a token. Unfortunately the only thing that will change Russia's love affair with Putin is war. I just hope you don't get caught up in it. What is though sure is that whatever happens for the rest of your life you will be living in a country scared by the sheer loss of men. Especially given that your birth rate is so low. When the dust settles the dead don't rise again.

In my opinion, every country should do this and start innovating on other brands!!

What have they invented so far?

Да, они работают ))
Но почему по вашему они не должны работать?
@@dekulucorisv3514 в Американских Макдаках очень часто не работают машины для мороженого
Yes, all the time
Never seen a McDonald’s with a non-functioning ice cream machine
They use the Italian manufacturer. All of your abuses in Italian ice cream machine.
Damn those fries looks like they’re actually made out of normal potatoes
Can we see some smaller shops or restaurants? Maybe on some village or something?
Go on google street view. They have tours of shops in some regions, normally from a few years back. He isn't going to film anything bad. He isn't going to be getting a visa anytime soon for his wife (her Dad's a government prosecutor) so he's going to be in Russia quite a long time.
The one time where the „we have food at home“ makes you happy
I admire the creative way they have managed to stay in business in spite of the harsh sanctions. The ordinary Russian business owners shouldn't be punished for the decisions of their political leaders. Respect.
I really Like the No Branding packages
I read in another comment on a different video about McDonald's in Russia after the sanctions: FRANCHISE businesses, like McDonald's, licenses out the branding, the recipes, and access to McDonald's products from the company. The Russian restaurants would still know the recipes and then can source their McDonald's product from a trade partner like China who isn't sanctioned like this.
It is correct to name it “delicious, that’s it”. It reflects the meaning much better.
He just had an explosive meal
At least the ice cream machine isn’t broken 🤣
is that some kind of meme? I don't get it
@@РустемГафиятуллин-ш2п most ice cream machines at mcdonalds are broken. Thats the meme.

This should happen in western countries. Imagine the benefits our countries would get if our monopolies were nationalized.
Probably the best thing Russia has gained from this war.
"Tastes just like McDonald's"
"Tastes better than McDonald's"

@Sven Madsen ???
- we can say it's the same or we can say it's better!

Just went to a McDonald's in NY yesterday, three burgers were 32.00 and they couldn't even bother to put them together .. boxes open, meat patty in bottom of bag.. hope it's better there
32 dollars for a singke burger ?
You have a better chance at getting me to eat in McDonalds that's not called McDonalds than the actual McDonalds. I'd call this a win win for Russia.
I like the clean, no frills advertising. Very nice!
A russophile tested a fake McDonalds food and determined it's better than McDonalds. Shocker.
This is the first time i saw a mcdonald's icecream and am not even kiddin

Went to Moscow couple of years ago. I got tradition to visit MC in every country I visit. We went to MC and tried there shrimp burger and Cola. We visited MC every day after that. Still remember that amazing burger and no idea what they added to that Cola. Did not find in any other country that shrimp burger..
You know Mcdonald’s in the US is f*cked when a country that just got the ability to open a restaurant have a ice cream machine that actually works
Sorry the ice cream machine is currently on a SpeCiAl OpeRatiON.

Russian McDonald’s was always better than us McDonald’s so not surprising
This is the epitome of the “ we have good at home “ meme
It’s fair to say companies have figured out ways to get around sanctions profit is still profit
