And now yiu have more crafty $ to get something you really want! Do yiu follow CC on their YT channel or the website? Their birthday celebration starts Monday and goes for 2 weeks! For $50 and that including any paper pad. Only including two decent size dies I would say it's probably worth maybe $15 so I'm glad I didn't order it. Thanks for joining the unboxing so that I didn't make the mistake of buying it since it is so chintzy. I've got the last four or five years all unused three out of four of them still in the original packaging. Yep

Hello, new to your channel. I adore CC. When I started card making 6 yrs ago, I placed huge orders on HSN. Did buy the first two calendars, opened it one at a time each ear. So many things have changed since then. Lost my other half this past Dec, that was a real tough one. He always would say if you like it, get it, and give me the $. Loved the craft kit of the month. Got to month # 41 and stopped because I didn’t use them each month like I thought I would. Have crafter supplies all over the house, craft room. Is completely full. Now I’m so bone, can’t rub 2 nickels together. Miss getting the new things from CC and other places. I’m really liking this yrs calendar, it was very organized to make quick fun cards. Great presentation. If I could I would love to have this calender, put for now I’ll just use what I have and be happy. Tyfs

I am sorry for the loss of your husband. It must still be such a shock. I hope it gives you comfort knowing he encouraged your love of crafting.
I collected all the purple box craft kits from CC but not doing the new ones. I feel they may be more for newer crafters.
Let's face, most of.is could.go a very long time before we would need anything but glue!

Well that was an eye opener for sure. I’ve never bought a crafty advent calendar and don’t think I ever will. 1. the stamps are too small, the dies are teeny-tiny not a fan of small embossing folders & stencils can’t abide glitter glue
2. I have very long fingernails and would probably lose bits as I pick them up. I even catch them sometimes when I’m typing, which is why I don’t do that much anymore.
Brilliant video and I just love your commentary throughout. TFS and crafty hugs from across the pond.

When I was a youngster, we had those dreadful stick-on nails! Ugh! They were awful and for so reason turned my own nails green for a while. Dr said to stop wearing them. But my nails didn’t grow very well for a long long time. Then acrylic nails came out, tried them and they just completely trashed my nails. Took my 3 years for them to grow again and used OPI nail envy religiously every day. The last couple decades or more, my long nails are ‘all my own’ and will remain that way. Salons over here are more regulated than they were to start with, but still not enough today. So I’ll just paint my own nails I just don’t trust those young whippersnappers - all they want to do is cut my nails, stick on tips and cover with acrylic 😱 over my dead body!!
Great to hear the bows have arrived, hopefully the other bits and the super sale stuff will be shipping soon too.

THANKS for opening. I’m like you I prefere dies. So I’m not gonna buy it. I normally wait and open one day at a time, But sometime in the last week I rip it up. And lindabenny I agree it’s NOT cheep. But that’s what you get when you buy an advent calander and when opened one day at a time it doesn’t feel as expencive as when you rip it apart. Lovely Opening! ^.^ I'm a bit of both teams haha since I don't really do one day at a time when recording my opening (I did a row so I could fit it in 4 parts though technically I record multiple videos a day haha) Though for this one I might do one a day and use it somehow ... maybe hehe
I have mine still sealed and will start either Dec or start recording in Nov so I can be sure my videos will be up on time! not sure which yet hehe
Just in case, I will take a picture of it all before I open it! I probably will keep parts and stick it in my scrapbook (which is basically a lined paper pad you get for school (cause it has more pages than a scrapbook and is cheaper) I stick anything I keep in there haha (custom labels from some things I buy if I can tear them off)) ^.^
Oh and just a side note, for door one you said stencil not embossing folder ^.^

Hello Ruth ! 🤗 You seem to have a good plan . I end up just putting everything in little bags, jewelry or snack bags with the # on it. And then all in a bif zip lock. No idea why...everything else goes in the envelope, in a bin, on a shelf !

I am actually overnight in the hospital right now! I had surgery this morning. But I did get my order in for HSN this morning before the hospital at 6am! A girl had to have her priorities!
So I just opened it, filmed it, edited it put them all away and short of the glitter flues I only remeber a handful of items in there. One more benefit of aging! 😂💕

I saw Jennifer Maguires video with the 12 days of stiching dies. Weren't her cards beautiful?
Since I buy my Spellbinders Advent I get to open it as soon as it arrives. So that 9ne is due any day! Keep your eyes peeled for that unbox and reveal. Or maybe not, and be surprised!
I do not envy anyone having to move their craft stash. I used to think kitchens were the biggest pain to move, hah! Now I know it is the crafts. Mine were all packed for about 2 months during remodel. And I have never gotten them back to the organized chaos that they were. 😁 My best wishes for you to do much better than me! 😉💕

Thanks for showing all the items. That will help me to decide if it’s worth the money. The items are cute but still not sure. Like you, I wish there were more dies and bigger ones. The boxes are always beautiful but I wish they would spend less money on the box and include even better items. Maybe they could do one with all dies, dies and stamps, all embossing folders, and one with mixed media and one mixed with everything. That way we could buy whichever one we wanted.

Hello V! 🤗 I always hope this helps.people to decide. It is not inexpensive. I should have the Spellbinders one in a day or 2 and will do that unboxing as well. Maybe that will be more to your liking. If you look on my channel you can see both of them from last year as well.
I do wish there was a bit more metal in that box. That is how they were when CC first put them out. And I still use those dies ALL the time!

@@4holidaysdesigns well I'm glad that I watch the unboxing because it convinced me not to purchase. I've got the last few years all unopened and unused. I'm pretty much convinced the last day you showed is almost identical to add I already have. It might be a smaller version but I'm pretty sure it's identical with the roses and everything. That is one of my favorite dies but they at and the snowflake died and the glitter glues are just not enough justification to spend $50 so it's people doing unboxing like you do that help us out. Help us make an educated decision

Hello Theresa! 🤗 I am sure you will not be alone in that thought. If you see the other comments , a number of people have said they are passing on it this year. It is a lot of money for a guess of whether you will like it. I hope doing this video helps people decide if it is for them.
I am.not sure if you saw, but Spellbinders came out with another calendar this yr. I will have that vid up in a day or so ... Thanks for letting me know what yiu thought. 🙂💕
