- Some flying action at March Air Reserve Base included VMFA-314 F-35Cs, a NATO C-17A, an Elmendorf C-17A, and some local stuff. Check out the tactical descent the AK C-17 does on short final, it's pretty impressive. Thanks for watching and enjoy a few solid minutes of jet noise!!

Where are you exactly to take these shots?? I want to get some nice shots with my telephoto lens, I’m assuming your near the van buren overpass or near the museum but not sure, amazing vids btw !

Question when is prime air doing over at March Air Reserve Base
They took over the old DHL ramp, 5 flights daily in and out of March now! 👍

Awsome! I really want to do this but never know when they are doing this and don’t have the time when I’m in the area.And also what are F-35 Cs doing at an Air Force base? Aren’t they navy?
they visit KCHS alot from Destin. They fly for the ANG too

@@SOCALAVIATION2KUhh that guys incorrect their are no F-35C guard units the real reason is very simple navy jets just use afb/arb to refuel and rearm thats why if you look at footage of nellis or edwards afb you can also see navy jets every now and then

@@SOCALAVIATION2KYep if you look closely they are Marine F-35Cs so their probably on their way to MCAS Mirimar and this was just a small stop

Nope. 629 is retired, 707MQ is in deep mx in MIA. Maybe 707CA will be a replacement for one
What is Sun Country doing there? That is not one of their destinations unless they are doing a charter...
It’s a charter. There were 7 of them there! Lots of troop/pax movements I guess?

@@Skyes9 yeah or photos for that matter. Just asking because I came across a plan spotting site in which they said it’s frowned upon or whatever.
@@subie0787 it’s better at the museum for photos and video. You will not be bothered by security and you’re closer to the jets.
