This is nice and all, but it is a bummer that the auction is this week and not later because people are probably going to be getting sets at the Lego store for may 4th and won't have enough money for the auction
I Love how you can really hear the excitement in Ryan's voice as he's talking about all of these awesome sets. You can tell that he loves what he does.
Despite not being the biggest fan of Whatnot for a number of reasons, but this is truly an incredible feat that of all people Ryan deserves to be a part of. This hobby has come so far, the growth in the hobby (if you view it positively or negatively) has truly shown merit in a hobby that was (definitely in my experience) often looked upon unfairly or ignorantly. Good work Ryan. Thank you for staying genuine and authentic in this hobby. And on an unreleated note in the wise words of prolego channel I sure hope it does
UK AFOL here, there from the start, man...such a time-warp, from a 25 year old to 50 years old and still buying the stuff. This is an incredible video to watch, love your work, keep it up.
Yeah I was worried about that. I talked to someone in the store yesterday that suggested I write down my max bid and seal it in an envelope or something. There’s really only a few items I’d want but it’s a bad conflict of interest if I lose the bid.
@@MandRproductions yeah I trust you honestly, You've been very open about these kind of things and keep yourself accountable, but I'm sure you know it's always better to be safe than sorry
Man, I worked at Legoland California form 98-2000 when I was in college, I wish I would have saved all my Naboo Star Fighters! Wow, that one is going to get at least 3500 minimum.
My podracing bucket has brittle bricks now. I would be curious to know if any of these sets in certain eras have brittle bricks in them. I imagine that most of the older sets people will keep them sealed.
That guys is awesome I love the Lego community. When I was younger I remember going to the Lego store as a kid, I remember I wanted the slave 1 and I was short 20 dollars for it. A man who was looking around looked at me and offered to pay for it. Need less to say I got the slave 1 and I’ll never forget that hood guy who just wanted to give. Keep building !
What a great story! I hope there are still a lot of kind people like that man because there actually aren't a lot of nice people in the world. I'm happy that you were able to get your Slave 1 :)
CAN ANYONE IDENTIFY THE SET I AM ABOUT TO DESCRIBE? When i was a kid, probably pre-2003, i remember having a set that i probably never put together properly, i believe it had 2 jedi minifigs, one with white robes and brown legs and one with all black, one lightsaber was green, aside from the minifigs, the only pieces I remember are a couple of brown hand rail pieces. Any idea what that set could be?
I don’t remember any sets with someone in a white robe, especially if it’s limited to 2003 and earlier. There are only like 80 Minifigs that had been made at that point
I was pretty hyped about this stream but now I'm pretty confident everythng will get out of my price range real fast 😅 Will be entertaining to watch though!
This is the essence of whatnot. Not buying stuff you want, you got ebay for that, but buying what you want from known youtubers. Hence the deal this dude did. He’ll get more money from ‘m&r sales’ where pol overbid like crazy than his ‘unknown person’ sales. I find it cringy
Actually most of these boxes have variants - you can tell when he bought sets from Denmark, they are without the "cont xx. pieces" that is printed on for the rest of the world. Not many talk about this though, probably because almost no one sees the Danish variants.
Strange that Cloud ity and the ISD got underneath the table :) Anyway, how about shipping costs/taxes to Europe? Not sure if i'm gonna bid on some items but shipping costs might be a dealbreaker.
Just out of curiosity do you know what every set cost in original dollars in their respective years and what their value is now? IE $30,000 worth of sets but now worth $200,000 for instance?
so i have a very interesting idea, get every single (non duplicate) lego star wars set. and display them all in chronological order of the star wars universe. that would make for a very interesting display.
I’m stuck in ‘Lego purgatory’… I was on the website at 00 : 02 and needed to refresh the page to add the new sets to my basket and it kicked me out to the back of the queue… typical…
I own 3 of the 66495 3in1 with the AV-7 and I opened one also to see what was inside. The 2 small sets are still sealed in box but the AV-7 is just the bags and instructions separate inside the main box.
7262 also had the new gray colors. I think off memory that Kabaya X-wing is that exact same build as the one that came with the x-wing and tie advanced, but with the newer color bricks
Damn I bought a factory sealed 1999 x-wing from a lego shop In Fargo, ND a few years back. The dude at the checkout who owned the place said it was sold by some guy collecting all lego star wars sets sealed. His reason for selling was the box was a bit warped. Must be the same dude lol.
As a fellow Dan from Minot,ND who also collects Lego Star Wars, I have to congratulate this other amazing Dan from ND. I can't believe the coincidence and would love to meet this legend
The camera angle and table height makes me look quite short...

What’s up brother ☝️
No one thought that, you are clearly self conscious.

You deleted my comment because your so self conscious 😳🥴🥴🥴🤣🤣🫵🫵
@@mcflurrybro The new sets will be available at the store for at least a year. These are a one time opportunity. Skip the store.

I'm sure he got great value. I'm curious as to what the whole lot was worth.
judging by the map i think i live very close to him 😂

It’s insane to see all of these classic sets next to each other, enough to make a grown man cry…
I cried.
I clapped!!!
My only request is that after the auctions you makes a video listing each set and what it sold for! Great content as always 👍
Wow what a LEGO Star Wars moment!
Okay tough guy, where’s 2024 Jabbas Sail Barge?
😂

This is "the most ambitious crossover in media history". It's so beautiful and epic seeing them all together.
Looks like it’s going to be an absolutely insane auction, kinda surreal to see almost everything in one place. 🙌
I got every lego star wars set... this March 😂
How much have you spent?
Doubt it, post a video 😂
You dropped this video at the perfect time to match the start of the UK May 1st launch Lego website queue, so thanks for making that more bearable
45 minutes it took me to get on and order. Very tedious!
Holy crap! I can’t believe you actually got every single LEGO set from that one theme that started 25 years ago! 👏
All of those 3-in-1 packs are insane. What an awesome collection
I’ll do -3 pushups for every like this comment gets

Hey Ryan, if you do plan on bidding on these sets please make that clear on the stream, don't want anyone accusing you of bidding up the prices

Brittle browns/reds etc are well documented. You don't have to guess. They're 100% in some of these sets

do you ship them internationally
Use this as an opportunity to count how much total$$$ it would cost to buy every set sealed in box!
Is that all the 3in1 (or 2in1) packs that ever got released, I thought there was a Hoth atst and snow trooper battle pack 2in1 in like 2023
