It is definitely different with the auto-tune, but your regular voice balances it out.
My brother was a big inspiration for this song, and I showed it to him with autotune not even planning on using it in the final version. I'd first used it to figure out the vocal melody before I recorded the final take - and that's the version he heard. I just wanted to see if he liked the song at all before I fully committed to finishing it. The song made him so emotional that he cried; he said he loved it, autotune 'n all, so I kept it.
