I pray the Saint Michael prayer for my husband every day(he's a police officer).
I had kinda forgotten about the Guardian Angel prayer. I think that is one I should be doing.
I love the rosary,I try to pray it every day. It's a very simple but powerful prayer that anyone can do.

Take this from me a (evil sinner) no better than anyone) anything I share is out of love). According to John 14 vs 6 Jesus Christ is the (only way) to God the Father above, heaven and salvation not Peter, not saints, not Mary , not a preacher and not a priest ( because only Jesus Christ God's only Son and Savior sent from above ( went to Calvarys cross long ago and shead his blood for our sins and salvation). Jesus always existed in heaven in spiritual form way before he was born on Earth in human flesh). because Jesus is God part of the trinty and God always was and always will be). No salvation in Mary ( Salvation is only in Jesus Christ who died for our sins ). Acts 4 vs12 says there is no other name given among men by which we must be saved ( but the name of Jesus). Luke chapter 1 vs 49 Mary called God (my God and Savior) which meant she worshipped God alone and didn't make herself equal to God ( and she called him Savior) only sinners need a Savior). Romans 5 vs 8 God demonstrated his love towards us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us The problem with (religious tradition) it tends to add are take away from God's holy word and Christ finished work at Calvarys cross long ago which has already been fully completed) Revelation 22vs 18 says do not add are take away from God's word ( it alone has the final say). Mathew chapter 23 vs 9 says call no man father ( in the church ) for there is one Father above and really we can't call God above our Father ( until we first accept his only way of salvation Jesus Christ who died for us (The people of God wrote his word on scrolls long ago as they were inspired by his spirit. ( better known as the dead sea scrolls) translators found these scrolls and translated them putting them into Bible ( the most accurate word for word Bible version that comes from the original documents is the king James) because some Bible versions tend to add are take away from God's word because of Religious tradition ( which is very wrong ) we don't add are take away we leave as is ). Mathew chapter 6 vs 7 says do not pray vain repetition prayers like the heathens do ( chanting the same prayer over and over like a ritual ( in witchcraft to cast spells they chant the same words over and over like a ritual and light candles). I say this out of love ( I'm far from perfect) lighting candles and praying to dead people doesn't sound good it sounds like witch craft ( in witchcraft they play with weggie boards to talk to dead people and dim lights for candles ( and it's not dead people they talking to it's demon spirits) ( When Jesus said unless you eat of my flesh and drink my blood u can't have life ( it was a figure of speech) he wasn't talking about literal cannbilsm ( and he wasn't talking about communion) saying the juice literally becomes his blood ( no yuck drinking real human blood) it was figure of speech and he wasn't talking about communion saying the bread literally becomes his body ( no yuck eating real human flesh) (Jesus is (not) coming down at communion literally becoming the juice and bread in real flesh and blood not at all) cause according to Hebrews 12 vs2 Jesus at this moment in his glorified body is seated in heaven by the right hand of the throne of God the Father ( and just the fact Jesus sat down in heaven) says he doesn't need to get back up and die again ( because he did it all once long ago at Calvarys cross when he shead his blood for our sins fully paying for whatever we need ( rather it's salvation, forgiveness, healing, diilverance etc) and it never needs to be paid again) it is finished meaning complete and totally done Jesus cried out on calvarys cross long ago in john19vs30). With this figure of speech) When Jesus said unless you eat of my flesh and drink my blood u can't have life ( he wasn't talking about literal cannbilsm and he wasn't talking about communion) saying the juice and bread literally becomes him in real flesh and blood ( no he was only referencing to Calvary) (He was only referencing to Calvary and only saying unless you truly by faith from deep within freely accept me and the blood I will shead for your sins ( which he already did at this point) than u can't be saved and have eternal life). No salvation in sacrements that term was made up by religious tradition). Water baptism and communion though necessary (don't save ) they only symbols like a ring to marriage) (Salvation is only in Jesus Christ who died for us and our heart faith and acceptance of him alone). (Greatest example of my point is theif on cross crucified next to Jesus in Luke( He was dying he couldn't go to communion are confession ( he only had time to cry out to Jesus Lord remember me was saved) Isiah 53 he was wounded for our transgressions Jesus Christ at calvarys cross long ago for our sins and salvation) Colossians 1 vs 14 in whom we have redemption ( salvation) by his blood and forgiveness of sin. (We must be willing to leave our darkness our sinful ways and come to light and understand God has nothing for sale). Everything from God from A thru Z (comes only by faith for free ) through the cross where Christ died long ago for you and me) rather it's salvation, forgiveness, healing, diilverance etc). Romans 6 vs 23 For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God ( a gift is freely received) is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord ( this is because only Jesus Christ long ago went to Calvarys cross and shead his blood for our sins and salvation) Romans 3 vs 23 all have sinned ( we all broke God's commandments lying, stealing , using his name in vain , thinking lustful thoughts etc. And no good deed can change we guilty worthy of hell ( just like in court if we guilty no good deed can change that ( it's the same with God). God in his love only made one way to be saved, changed , made pure, and enter heaven instead of hell (through heart faith and acceptance of Jesus Christ and what he did at Calvarys cross long ago alone ).
To be saved ( We just call on God in prayer from the heart by faith in humble repentance) realizing we guilty sinners worthy of hell, admitting God I'm a guilty sinner that lies and thinks evil thoughts, please save my soul, through what your only Son Jesus Christ did at Calvarys cross long ago alone for my sins , I need the risen king as Savior ) Romans 10 vs 13 Whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved Than instantly) if we truly reaching out by faith from the heart to Jesus and what he did at Calvarys cross long ago alone in humble repentance) we saved , forgiven, made totally pure in God's sight, given by God's spirit a change of heart, granted heaven instead of hell, and we become dead to our old self ruled by sins and when than become alive unto God spiritually speaking on the inside, risen with Christ as a new creature in Christ 2nd corthians5vs17 ( and we get this and keep it the same way) not through our works but through our heart faith and acceptance of Jesus Christ and what he did at Calvarys cross long ago alone) on utube watch sbn live)

You forgot to mention that husband's can say binding and deliverance prayers over their wives, as the husband is the head of his house and in a sense the priest of his own household

Been so troubled for much of my life and now feeling drawn back to the church. I went through all of the sacrements and was confirmed, but I remember at the confirmation having a feeling of not believing, and going through the motions to please my parents. I am just going to try it, I mean these prayers. I think I'm in spiritual warfare for many years. If it's not that, the prayers can't hurt me so why not?

Is confession to a priest a must?
Aren't we forgiven if we confess straight to God through prayer
Confession is a must because we ourselves do not have the power to bind and loose sins, and we will always deceive ourselves through our own pride that our sins are not that bad or are no longer a problem or not a sin at all.
Confession of mortal sin is a must, yes. Confession once a year is also a must.
Venial sins can be forgiven when receiving the Eucharist and/or using Holy Water.
HOWEVER I think you SHOULD definitely confess venial sins to a priest, and you SHOULD definitely go more than once a year - moreso once a month, or even once a week!
As for your second question - Jesus gave His apostles the authority and power to forgive sins, and that power has been passed down to priests today, so it is important we use what Jesus initially gave us. HOWEVER we can definitely pray to God beforehand to give us courage before confession.
In recent years it seems to have become popular to quote what Saints, popes and people who've had visions have said and treat their words as being literally true. The Church teaches that ALL revelation ended with the death of the last Apostle John. There's a good reason for that because otherwise people down the line could claim to have divine revelations via private visions that could change or alter the message of the Gospels to something ... else. When it comes to the beliefs drawn from the visions reported by a select few, keep in mind that the religion of Islam is based entirely on private visions and revelations. What Saints and popes have preached and written are what they believed to be true but are in the end opinions and should not be considered to be factually true (especially when it comes to the supernatural). They have no more insight than what is accessible to anyone sufficiently educated. The Church teaches that even the "revelations" of private visions (like those of Sr. Faustina, the children at Fatima and Bernadette at Lourdes) are "worthy of belief" only in as much as they serve to fortify faith and provide guidance for action (as calls to a deeper piety that can help us turn away from the things that hold us back and prevent us from being better people and treating others better). We should be careful not to read into these revelations as having any new doctrinal claims. Be careful. The danger in taking vision-inspired claims and writings of church leaders as being literally true is that the practice of faith can come to resemble ritualistic and superstitious practices (the claim that dying while wearing a scapular guarantees entry into heaven comes to mind). Prayer and faith are only starting points meant to fortify us so that we can get on with actual work. They are not meant to be ends in themselves. The world would be a far, far, FAR better place if every prayer uttered or thought were followed by a loving action to make it so. (Try it. Make it a goal to not just say the rosary but make the world a better place through direct action every time you do it.) "Faith without works is dead." Now that's truth. We only get one chance at life. You can spend it fighting the "devil" or you can do some real work. Think about it -- what would the devil really be more afraid of -- someone locked away at prayer or someone fully engaged in creating the kingdom of God on earth? Don't you think the devil would have been thrilled if Jesus had never left the desert where he was tempted and never began his ministry? Faith is only the beginning. Prayer is exercise for the soul. Mission is what we're actually called to. In the Bible whenever God connects with a human being, they get sent on a mission. Always.

You should not pray the binding prayer for anyone you do not have authority over. You can pray other prayers for them, but not the binding prayer.
