Restore Japanese toolbox 1940s（subtitles）

My grandfather's toolbox from the 1940s was sleeping in the storeroom...
It was quite tattered, but we respected the fact that it was engraved with history and worked hard to restore it.

祖父が使っていた道具箱...
さすがに古い杉箱なので 杉そのモノをパテにして補填しました（ ディスク粗目＃ 40）
木工鑢で粗削り - サンディングディスク中目仕上げ＃ 240 - サンドペーパー表面仕上げ
バーナー焼き ～ 中蓋・中木は新杉のため綺麗な焼跡に。古い本体は焼き付きが早く、まさにレトロ調になりました。
レストアリメイクした道具箱 .. とても愛着が湧きます
これからも 大切に使っていきたいです。

As expected, it is an old cedar box, so I filled it with cedar putty (sanding disk coarse # 40)
Roughing with a wood file - Sanding disc medium finish # 240 - Sandpaper surface finish
Burner firing ~ The inner lid and inner wood are new cedar for a beautiful burn. The old main body burns in quickly, and it has become a retro style.
A toolbox that has been restored and remade.. I am very attached to it
I would like to continue to use it carefully.
