Woow
Wow 😲
We love you top Kodi!!! I'm a great GMA and you just made my night! And on grinning from ear to ear!!!!
How the hell does a blind man WATCH his own reaction????
🤔
If this guy doesnt win.....ill never watch this show again
Edit: He won. Thank god. He deserved it. They finally got it right for once.
V unbeatable
sorry ....i don't think so
Gosh I said the exact same thing!! Never watch it again!!!!
Yeah ya will 😉 lol. But I feel ya! I get full body goosebumps and am inv tears by the end of every performance of his. 🤟💞
Same and I will cry, out of the last 5 seasons. He is the most impressive, from not being able to see the keyboard to being able to be infront of all those people. 95% of autistic kids, get really nervous, emotional, etc. They cant handle being around others.
He is an inspiration.
His mother is an amazing Human Being. The way she motivates him before his performances is adorable.
Mothers are underrated dude
😄
So true. Mothers are the greatest creatures ever.
If we all had moms like this. ..
Agreed, the mother is as much of an angel as him
That's why they say autism isn't a disability.Its a different ability.Extra ordinary.
bucky rocky
His autism gave him the ability to hear a song and play it back perfectly without sheet music after only a couple of times hearing it. When you combine that with a perfect sense of pitch, you have something that is truly rare
I love your comment!!! So true!
Best comment EVER!

Playing piano is hard enough when you can see. That kid is an inspiration.

I can’t even play the piano! This is just amazing! Pure talent.
And a 🤴 king
@@richardwiggins3186 People who are learning to play, that was his point, its hard to learn when you can't visually process it.
I have a neighbour who was born without a single hand but he plays guitar like a pro, with his legs. I can watch and listen to him playing Smokie songs all days.
He’s showed everyone that being disabled doesn’t necessarily mean you’re unable. No matter what, he’s a winner in my eyes
jdpg34 I love this comment, God bless you
jdpg34 mine too. He’s such an inspiration
You know what’s sad too... doctors encouraged his mom to abort him because he was sought to have disabilities. What a world we live in
well said same mo here, kodi's fan from Philippines.

Kodi's mom is amazing, too. There are so many kids with disabilities who don't get this kind of love and support and I feel sure she would be just as loving and kind to him even if he were not so gifted. God bless you Kodi's mom! :D
kevoice right. She is like my parents were.
kevoice hugs! From a mum that has a child with Aspergers. He’s in honors classes. Top 2 percentile. He’s my world! I home schooled him for 8 years. 🥰

@kevoice that's such a valid point 💯
I wish they would have turned the lights completely off to have everyone in that room experience the song how he experiences it.
That would have been very cool! Makes you really focus on the lyrics and music too!
Honestly that would’ve been a good idea.
Right!? Underrated comment!
such a good ideaaaaa!
That’s an amazing idea.
He has a really wonderful mother. Thanks to her for what she does.
Well said I agree
She's a priceless mother for this God gifted child.
❤ Amen
Imagine being a contestant on this season of AGT, sitting back stage wishing you'd waited til next year to audition cause this year already has a clear winner.
👏👏👏👏👏👏
Everybody at the live shows is already winning, they’re now known country wide and all get show gigs regardless of where they place.
I will cry if he doesnt win, I actually mean that.
Who do you think the winner will be? I’m cheering on Kodi and Tyler Butler Figueroa
Life is not only about winning my friend
Just give my dude the prize money and contract already
Right?!
IKR💖💖💖
he is soo amazing!!!
There’s many other people that have had better voices than this man. Yes he’s talented but people need to realize conditions and their past shouldn’t be counted into their audition. If you only got to listen to people that sing and didn’t get to see them or their past, then people would vote differently.
@@brentonwilden3885 he's not just talented.. This man is gifted. He is only one of a handful of people alive to be able to play and sing in perfect pitch any song he listens too by memory pretty much 🤷♂️ most people that gifted have some sort of autism spectrum due too so much activity in that part of the brain..
Who else thought that conversation before the performance was super cute and made you smile?
Me💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
I thought it was awkward maybe just me🤷♂️
Thats just sad ...
I thought it was cool because that's their relationship. I've heard him sing before, but this time. His vocal still shock everything out of me, and they had that conversation before.
So Amazing!!!!
I cant believe a less-fortunate person is able to sing better than me .... I sing like a dying goat :'(
I've never heard such a beautiful voice. Idc if hes blind or autistic that's not why he won. He won bc hes got it. You dont hear these people alot. I'm glad his mom showed us.
He’s both and he is incredibly talented
important to consider that being autistic doesn't necessarily make it harder for him, might be quite the opposite. He definitely won it, I wouldn't say he has the most beautiful voice I've heard, but it's def a top 5 male voice that I've heard.
Pfffft of course that's why he won. Benicio Bryant was robbed by this stupid show being liberal and crap. That why I stopped

Watch his first one, even better
God bless him he is one of God's😇😂
He’s not completely blind, does not take away how talented he is doe
shavguru He, Kody, already has utilized it for good work bringing people together; and showing that everyone IS a gift to us. We need to be loving to others no matter what.
@shavguru, AMEN TO THAT 🙌👍
This competition was over the moment Kodi opened his mouth.
He copied james Graham's the four performance. Nice.
He needs to work on his runs. His coach is making them up. They sound old.
He's good, but let's be honest, Marcin Patrzalek should really win this. Too bad there's no sob story for him to cash off of.
@Jaime you're deaf dude. He missed a lot of notes in his runs. It pretty obvious.
@@hannah2250 you're a liar. Any ear untrained or not can hear the runs are not good.
To make a long story short if he doesn't win we riot, simple as that.
EDIT: he won.
See this is what I'm talking about! Not everyone has parents like this, that allow you to grow and be and don't look at your lack of the formal mold of a human as a disability.
My brother is 41 and developementally disabled and HAD he had parents like this, I'm almost certain he would have played in the NBA if not college ball. He was THAT good! Any way- amen and God bless this young man and his family!!!
Recruit me from Kenya. He has to win, period.

As a future neurologist I have to say how fascinating Kodi is. I do not know him as a person, unfortunately. But seeing how severely affected he is by autism, it is touching and amazing that he, through music, has found a way to have a common language with everyone, and not only that, he speaks it better than most, and can touch us that way, and show us the person that he is. Autism is a condition that makes socializing and communication difficult, but Kodi has found a channel through those difficulties. It's amazing to watch.
I just want to make sure you know, since you say you’ll be working in the field, that being autistic is hard since most systems aren’t made for us. And it’s not something just something that we have, it’s a huge part of who we are. Autism doesn’t “affect” us, and “severe” or low/high levels of autism aren’t really a thing. Just because other people experience our autism more/less, doesn’t men that we are more/less autistic. Also, I’ve been thinking about going to college to get a degree in psychology or medicine or neurology :) Do you have any info about what jobs are in neurology, what you learn about in college classes, etc.? Thank you! 😊
@@Jordan-hk5ck I know you were asking the person who posted, but I’m here to tell you that I work in medicine/research and many of my colleagues have ASD, particularly in neuroscience.
Having two autistic children this has brought me to tears... This is incredible
Good luck with your career
As a future nfl quarterback, I imagine I’ll be seeing Thor L pretty frequently
its not sympathy. he truly is an amazing singer and for him to go up there and put his heart into it.. its just unbelievable. kodi for the win !!!
Totally agree!!
Absolute truth!
Well it does have a little bit of sympathy because if he wasn’t special he wouldn’t have made it this far most of his notes are not in the right tone and his voice shakes a lot doing high notes
Exactly
@manditheos do u understand or no
This proves that no matter what you have gone through, you can still accomplish your dreams and make a positive impact in the world...
Actually his condition is what made him a genius in music he can literally play anything if he listen to it just one time

Maybe it could be the same for your child

For real - got talent is saturated with singers, idk why they won’t go to voice or other shows smh
Because The Voice isn’t for everyone
I have two autistic step daughters and when they get a little bit older I will show them your clips. You are truly and inspiration.
Just be with them all time, and show them how they can be their selfs, and there is nothing can stop them other then their selfs. I hope you all have wonderful life and keep smiling 😄
While I was very touched by Kodis performance and him being autistic too. I think the best you can do is support your step daughters and their interests and abilities. Some autistic will never find extreme talent and it’s hard for them as everyone thinks that every autistic person has some type of extreme ability.
Thank goodness for your talent. You are so adorable
@Seth Ledbetter
1) your making fun of his blindness
2) it can be read to him

Winner of agt 2019, Kodi Lee. Thumbs up if you agree. Despite his disability, he's such a real gem 💎

After watching this I have no right to complain about my life. And for clarification I am not insulting anyone or Kodi. I am just saying that we should all be grateful for what we have in life. My cousin is autistic and has mental health issues so I would never insult anyone with a disability. He is happy in life and I am grateful to have a special relationship with him. ✌ to you all

Billy Mead I don’t think you meant to but you’re insulting Kody. You’re making his life out to be miserable but it’s not. This is how he’s always known life and he’s living it just as we all live ours. It’s disrespectful to say things like this about people with disabilities. I’m not trying to call you out or be rude but it’s something that people say often about those with disabilities and it’s insulting to them.

Conspicuously absent on this clip, but genuinely acknowledged, is the fact that the composer of this song, Paul Simon, considers this as his masterpiece...and rarely does he ever give permission for ANYONE to perform it. Paul simply does NOT want this piece of musical treasure to be exploited and trivialized...as is his right as author and composer. The fact that he gave permission within 30 mins of viewing Cody's performance speaks volumes! Well done, Cody, and thank you, Paul, for making this moment possible! Well done...well done! :-)

I’ve never seen a performance so heartfelt like this one in my life. He can sing and play. This performance was so inspiring . Believing in people makes the world go round.
But, nevertheless, he is amazing. Don't forget he's autistic and blind as well. He really is amazing. Testimony of love and devotion of a "Mother's LOVE".
Don't forget he is autistic and blind?
U make it seem like a perk that makes the performance somehow better...
Nonetheless, I agree... he is an amazing singer... I didn't enjoy this performance compared to his first one though!
Yeah he’s good
Wow! Is he blind and autistic? I had no idea!
And his love to music.
how does he learn how to play piano blind? so amazingly talented
In a time of so much hate and angry people how could God bless us with such a beautiful human. Kodi we are blessed to even hear your voice. I live in the OC and cant wait to come see you live. Thank you to his mom for sharing him with us.
Steve Frazier Beautiful comment. Well said! 🙌🏼
Steve Frazier I love this comment so much we are in difficult times
You are so right. Wow. I am in awe
God is so cruel, but loving at the same time.
@@condorX2 he keeps us in check...but remember God is Good.....All the time.....All the time....... God is Good
He's a bit of Ray Charles , a bit Elton John. But 100% Kodi. Just amazing. 🙏🙏
Took the words out of my mouth
Don’t forget Stevie Wonder
YES!!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Yeah 🤓
Amazing Talent bwo!!
The little playful thing between him and his mom at the beginning is so cute.
What a gift Kodi is; is an example of a mother’s great love! He is his mother’s child. God bless them.
Thank you so much for 60 likes!
Edit: Thank you so much for 200 likes 😮
U have a baby?
This was the best comment I’ve seen all day :)
No doubt about it.
KAWAHI LEONARD I have a 2 year old. My older brother has autism- - it takes a lot of hard work. To see Kodi Lee playing and singing with all the noise, clapping, etc. it takes work to get him to that point.
Done turn back sub my channel
I love the way he says “Yeahhh!” Before each act he does.
I am Snowii he literally sounds like Steve Smith from american dad when he says “yeahh”
Yeahhh!
the pure definition of
“i made it mom”
💛
Kennedi Veland - couldn’t say it better myself !!!!
Kodi offers us an incredible example of the miraculous and magical nature of music. Although autism may have impeded his ability to express himself through speaking, music frees him to draw upon the deep well of his humanity and beauty and share it with the world. And we are better off for it. Thank you to Kodi, his mom, and everyone else who helped him realize his potential.
It's 50% kodi and 50% his mom.. Wonderful women she could recognize and do what it takes
Triangle Fitness it’s all him stfu don’t try to milk everything for feminism
Amen! Mothers of special needs kids are always forces of nature!
@@viewsfromthesix971 Not about feminimism, its about the love of a parent. She clearly has an amazing bond with him that runs deeper than a bond with his father, which is why the commenter said what he did. If his dad was with him through all this, the commenter wouldve said his father.
@Tavita Khan
"its about the love of a parent" So you're saying the father didn't love Kodi? If he hadn't worked his butt off to help them get by financially, the mother wouldn't have been able to spend so much time with Kodi n give him all the resources he needed to b where he's at today
@@terminatorevil766 Clearly you ignored the rest of my comment. Why dont you read it again so you dont sound ignorant because nowhere did I say his father didnt love hin, I only said the bond seems to run deeper between mom and son. 🙄🙄🙄
Kodie Lee is proof God sends special beings to uplift and resonate with those struggling or to show them "I am".
Amen to that
@F it's ok, neither do you 🤭
@@jbizzle8491 maybe hes right maybe hes not but dont bring others in
Yes he does exist
@GuiltyUntillProvenSober you cant change it unfortunatly but everybody thinks like this way in his own way. But for me i dont differentiate between any human beeing. cute profile pic by the way
It's hard to sing an iconic, well-known song without copying the original or ruining it by trying to make it different. I think he did well.

I have been working in the disability field for 12 and a half years and I love seeing people like Kodi Lee being encouraged by their families to not limit themselves to what some people think they should. So many great messages on here from all over, I'm from Australia and am a massive fan of this young man
In this most hated world we live in, God blessed us with Kodi Lee. Thank you brother 🙏💪🎤
Kodi has made me see the world differently. Thanks for sharing your unique gift with the world.
Love form Uganda
Uganda ?
Area 51 Uganda is a country not just from black panther hahaha
@@matt955 Are you confusing Uganda with Wakanda? lol
Lemme drive da boat my seesta
That’s just how it is 🙌🙌🙌
His voice just doesn't sound real, that's how good it is. He has one of the best voices to be on any of these talent type shows over the past decade. I cannot wait to see him turn into an absolute star
Anony Mous what’s so good about his voice. It was pitchy and off key. He got bonuses and sympathies for being autistic. Any regular person would have gotten mediocre responses if not criticisms
This is Kodi's passion. Of course he isn't perfect, nobody is! The fact that somebody is Kodi's condition can perform in front of millions of people while already under major obstacles in life shows just how much real talent he has.
Christina Bailen I dont wanna argue but its said that I know someone who’s basically perfect
daxis 1234 so in other words, your voice is nowhere near his level. Got it!
@@20891 You clearly been bullied by your own family as a child.
In his world, there is no hate, no prejudice, and no anger. That's why his music is so pure.
He's already a winner! But he must still win the show like come on, if that ain't talent then idk what is.
Kodi Lee KILLED IT, he is truly inspirational and I hope he WINS
He has a unique voice and uses it well. He’s going to inspire many.
Its soulful bro.
he already has inspired many
It’s 3rd of February, 2021, still here
We're in March now baby!
I... I love him. Words can describe how humanity still has a chance in innocent souls like these. I love him. ❤️😭🙌
Periodddd
Innocent soul? The kid barely knows his real name, he can really only sing
this is the worse laptop i've ever owned... the screen is making me cry for some reason.

@@Cutestkuma U good kid?
They did him wrong with that thumbnail
Joe P looks like the devil is coming out of him
I thought it was scorpion from Mortal Kombat.
They should have gotten him smiling or something.
lol
Dunkk HAHAHAHAHA
The people that disliked this, have no idea what talent is. Kodi Lee still brings me to tears today🥰🥺
Maybe some people dislike this because they feel that a vulnerable person is being exploited. While your 15 minutes of fame may be what a neurotypical person craves, is it what Kodi truly wants? How much autonomy does he have in this situation?
Best voice, best personality, best story, he's already won......
Once again, I got chills, I adore Kodi Lee... you deserve everything you get and more brother, respect
As soon as he opens his mouth my heart smiles!! God bless this young man!! 🙌🔥😢❤
Just love how his mom is always there for him right before each performance to be his rock and encourage him. A lot of thanks and all the roses to her.
Artist: Simon And Garfunkel
Song: Bridge Over Troubled Water
Eric Capostagno just thought I’d tell people who didn’t know, so quiet
@Eric Capostagno you are the stupidest person alive
@Eric Capostagno no i don't moron🙄🙄
Eric Capostagno Speak for yourself moron
Thank you TristanHarvey
Kodi dug deep within his soul and brought forth voluminous vocals!!! Kodi made Ms. Union cry again and humbled Simon. Fantastic job Mr. Kodie Lee. You're truly a sweetheart!!
I'm pretty sure he humbles us all.
U guys sound dumb
Yup ... he humbles us all. It's unfortunate that tears from a judge on a show like this mean so little nowadays ... they've become the measure of what is good but they are squeezed out and always acted up and always commented on. The fact that he is so spontaneous makes the judges constructed self conscious reactions all the more obvious. This man sweeps all the facile emotions away rendering them insignificant. He is wonderful, literally. He's clearly a great musician and individual enough in his sound and approach to be a star.
@@ChrisChanningChannel ur stupid
Rhodda Thompson wish he could see this 🤣🤣🤣
He's my ultimate favourite, I definitely want Cody to win!!! 💞
He's unbelievable...
I worked with kids with special needs and every time I see Kodi I makes my heart ❤️ warm with love for him.... he is amazing and I’m so happy his mom saw his talent and not let it go to waste. Thank you Kodi, you are wonderful. I will duty whatever you put out, much love.....
This dude is GIFTED. Something about his voice reminds me of Elton John 🤔
Was thinking about how much i want to hear him sing rocket man
yes!
- Yeah SAME here! I thought I was alone glad to know I was not!
That would be an amazing duet if he could perform with Elton, or even just sing one of his songs!
It's sir Elton John by the way 😂
The world needs people like him, that persevere, even though life started them at a disadvantage, he’s special...nothing else to say
Yes! Maybe if more people see Cody they will actually start caring about autistic people and think about adapting to us at times too.
Terry's crying!
I Love this man. Everything for me.
He sang with his soul without a doubt, nervous & shy..
This the most extraordinary performance! He's autistic and blind as well! He's magical! I will click VOTE again and again and again for you Kodi!
Go TINAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! shoutout to great moms ( and dads and siblings too- and music teachers and peers - the WHOLE LOT ) for helping this amazing talent flourish and bloom
That is so well said n so true mate. U know behind every great chlld there a great mum or dad or both
Amazing. Kodi is my inspiration for my continued working with special needs students. You are a true blessing.
Good luck further
As are you! The world need more people like you with a passion to work with people with special needs. My daughter is autistic, and I can't even find the words to adequately express just how important and appreciated all of her teachers are to us.
You are doing an incredible things as well. May God bless you and your loving heart
