I can't believe that the first Fallout game came out in 1997 and it's STILL better than most games of the same genre today. I will buy this game once it hits $20 or less.

It doesn't take 7 hours, streamers mainly speedrun it to be one of the firsts, never take time to see all the extra content, hidden stuff, and they don't follow most side stuff. The length is more like 30 hours average, 7 hours is speedrunning through main story and propably not reading anything or talking to anyone not related to the current objective.
The game has a few bugs and is in some ways undercooked, they'll fix it, but that 7 hours is bollocks (although people spread that rumour wide, based on aforementioned speedruns and they shit on the game's forums not knowing that the game takes much longer), it's around 30, and if you like it, it's quite replayable with different paths, choices, and consequences. It was made deliberately shorter, but with multiple playthroughs in mind.
It's sad that it got bad reviews on mainstream sites, but I got used to it, most of the indie cRPG gems got terrible reviews in places like Eurogamer or Rock, Paper, Shotgun (vide Underrail, Age of Decadence, Pathfinder, and so on), but a general cRPG cocmmunity considers them very good or even great, and they have their own cult following. Hope they'll tweak it a little, and it'll be the same story
I'm surprised by the morality questions you answered because I would've thought those answers were more Humanist than Utilitarian.
You should try Encased, its gameplay is just like this one a little bite. some advise when you do make a black wing character & set your starting states at M:7 P: G:5 C:6 B:6 D:5 F:5 Py:5

Similar to The Journey Down in what sort of way? Aesthetics? Storyline? Not quite sure what game you are talking about with regards to the investigator in a swamp. A few come to mind. Is there a way to narrow it down somehow?
