Definitely have window shades. I put a solar shade in my big window. It protects the papers and my gemini even faded sitting in front of a window and turned yellow. With the solar shade you can partially see thru it so you don’t feel closed in.
I love the improvements, I was worried about the totes that were stacked up in the corner. It looks great and organized. Looks like she needs some more shelves for the spice jars.

Those are old Michaels' drawer units they no longer make unfortunately.
