Well, it came from the big bang, really. Science can explain in great detail how stars and galaxies formed over millions and billions of years. God/Jesus on the other hand is an easy explanation for the reason behind it, just like many other religions offer a different explanation for it, mostly tied to a deity or several of them. These explanations make it possible for us to have some questions answered which are more in the philosophical realm, but in some ways they're also a cop-out and contradict science sometimes. Which, science can always be proven, that's the difference to a religion which is based on belief that cannot be scientifically proven.
I envy you in a way, you believe in a deity, which makes many things easier for you and probably gives you a great deal of stability in your life. While we non-believers have to work out our own moral code, which depends not on a deity above us, but only on the people here on earth, and preserving the earth we have and the love that exists on it. Trust me, there isn't less love in someone that trusts only in science, compared to a religious person. It's just, we've taken the red pill, they've taken the blue pill. I don't judge anyone or try to convince anyone to not be religious, it would be utterly futile anyway. I just hope that religious people will still put their full trust and support in science, for science is what brings us forward as a species.

See, that's where religion comes in, it has answers for the unanswerable questions, explanations for the unexplainable, like, why did the Big Bang occur. We as humans try to understand everything, so those easy answers are very welcomed by many people. However, i reject religious explanations when they cannot be scientifically proven, which most of them cannot, except some more trivial things like star sighting at certain dates. Christianity is just one of many religions that claim to provide the one true explanation for things we can't understand. Instead of devoting myself to such a religion and accepting their explanations, i accept that there are unanswered questions which will probably remain unanswered for all of humanity's existence. I realize that joy and suffering, innocent people dying and guilty people walking free, sickness and atrocities, love and compassion, are not influenced by deities in the sky. Illnesses can be in our genetic code or they happen due to the way we live. The universe isn't just, it's free of judgement. People decide in their head to love or to hate.
In the end, it doesn't matter what we do on earth, because in the timescale of the universe, our entire existence spans only a split-second. However, i think we are in a very special position, we can consciously think about the universe and its meaning, this must be a quite rare trait. And for our togetherness on this planet, we should lovingly accept one another, and tolerate all different religions as well as those who don't believe in any of them.

The Word "FEAR" should be sang more strongly and clearly. I can hear only "FEA" .... and very feeble
I'm pretty sure that is due to her accent. Plus, why give 'fear' power. We are released from fear by the blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! It no longer has any power, and it is therefor impotent and without. It is appropriate, than, that she gives the word NO power!
