I've been an atheist my whole life until I turned 14 Up until then I cussed I judged I was hateful I was suicidal Then my friend invited me to this little church and I went and I don't know why but now I know That year we went to Chicago on a youth trip and that's when I met god I called myself Christian and got super involved with the church , I even joined the praise band I'm 17 now and I didn't truly have a relationship with god until I went on a youth trip with someone who went through the exact thing as me, suicide, losing a friend, losing yourself, depression The week after they had youth praise do Sunday worship This song was the first song I lead in front of Sunday service I never heard it until it was suggested and I fell in love with it immediately Then we did it and I sang vocals and that's when I truly met god After almost 4 years of being a Christian my life has finally turned around for the better I'm getting baptized soon and I'm glad I am Thank God and bless Him for this song and this band

4 years ago I lost everything and lost faith in people I once loved. Entered a recovery program and slowly reinvented myself graduated college last year, started a new job a month ago have a place to live again and will be 4 years sober this November. So I cry knowing God never left my side through it all

There is no such thing as messing up too much. You can never be too far away, no matter how far you think you are. Salvation is only a prayer away. The father is always willing to forgive you, he doesn't ever get tired of calling you back home. His arms are open. Just pray, even if you don't know what to say. Bask in his presence. He loves you. You are his child.

I've been following I Am They for awhile and have listened to their songs many times but I have to say that the last minute is the most amazing part of this song and Abbie Parker's voice and spirit is just amazing here... there is such a joy and a confidence in her singing that just proclaims the glory of God. This is the very song and band that god used to keep faithful and keep myself alive and this is the song he used when he revealed himself to me. It was at that very moment that they started playing no longer slaves on 30th March 2018 at my first ever Easter camp that I gave my heart to god I just pray that more people feel the love that I feel knowing that no matter what trial I face that he will always be there like it says in proverbs 3: 5-6 . I've been a strong Athiest for 17 years but I met my boyfriend a couple years ago who is Christian and this year i went to church with him for the first time in years and it was magical and brought me to tears. I've been following I Am They for awhile and have listened to their songs many times but I have to say that the last minute is the most amazing part of this song and Abbie Parker's voice and spirit is just amazing here... there is such a joy and a confidence in her singing that just proclaims the glory of God. This is the very song and band that god used to keep faithful and keep myself alive and this is the song he used when he revealed himself to me. It was at that very moment that they started playing no longer slaves on 30th March 2018 at my first ever Easter camp that I gave my heart to god I just pray that more people feel the love that I feel knowing that no matter what trial I face that he will always be there like it says in proverbs 3: 5-6 . Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
So often we dont understand why we are going through the season on life we are in but it is all apart of gods plan for us. Father I praise you for who you are and thankyou for everything you have done for me and I pray that more people will know you in all your glory in your almighty and glorious name amen

I've been a strong Athiest for 17 years but I met my boyfriend a couple years ago who is Christian and this year i went to church with him for the first time in years and it was magical and brought me to tears. Ive been listening to song like this and get this strong feeling inside me and realise I've been blind to God for a long time and regret it. It's powerful and I didn't realise. Ive still to tell my boyfriend about it but yeag i feel it
