I've been an atheist my whole life until I turned 14 Up until then I cussed I judged I was hateful I was suicidal Then my friend invited me to this little church and I went and I don't know why but now I know That year we went to Chicago on a youth trip and that's when I met god I called myself Christian and got super involved with the church , I even joined the praise band I'm 17 now and I didn't truly have a relationship with god until I went on a youth trip with someone who went through the exact thing as me, suicide, losing a friend, losing yourself, depression The week after they had youth praise do Sunday worship This song was the first song I lead in front of Sunday service I never heard it until it was suggested and I fell in love with it immediately Then we did it and I sang vocals and that's when I truly met god After almost 4 years of being a Christian my life has finally turned around for the better I'm getting baptized soon and I'm glad I am Thank God and bless Him for this song and this band

4 years ago I lost everything and lost faith in people I once loved. Entered a recovery program and slowly reinvented myself graduated college last year, started a new job a month ago have a place to live again and will be 4 years sober this November. So I cry knowing God never left my side through it all

It was at that very moment that they started playing no longer slaves on 30th March 2018 at my first ever Easter camp that I gave my heart to god I just pray that more people feel the love that I feel knowing that no matter what trial I face that he will always be there like it says in proverbs 3: 5-6 . Hold fast I went through that same thing years ago, I even asked when I finally came out of it why did I have to go through it? and He revealed to my heart that if I had not went through that I would not be where I am in my faith today. For His Word says in Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all of your heart. That is a promise you can stand on. Just know that He loves you and will work all things for your good. (Romans 8: 28) Praying for you!

Going through times of doubting my faith, no matter what songs I listen to or what verses I read and how much I pray it keeps getting worse, please pray for me that I may fear God and that I will be patient for his hand to work great works in my life

Hold fast I went through that same thing years ago, I even asked when I finally came out of it why did I have to go through it? and He revealed to my heart that if I had not went through that I would not be where I am in my faith today. For His Word says in Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all of your heart. That is a promise you can stand on. Just know that He loves you and will work all things for your good. (Romans 8: 28) Praying for you!
