When he passed away I quit going because it wasn’t the same. When Bobbie and I got married I decided to take her and it gave me new memories from it. So I know what you are saying. I had it last night and it will be the last time I have it, the grease was bad, and it smelled burnt, I ate a few bites but could not eat any more. The biscuits were changed and were not as good as they used to be. The new apple tea was way too sweet and not that good either. The only good food at the cracker barrel is the breakfast and that is it. I have been going to cracker barrel for years and their food has been going downhill and their new dishes are no better than what they have been making. I guess I will just go somewhere else because there is nothing there that is all that great!

We were happy to learn that they've returned catfish to their menu. It would be good for Cracker Barrel to work with doordash. We don't care much for sweets. We enjoy greens, green beans & cornbread [tabasco vinegar] with our catfish. We wish you much success with your reviews.
It is funny the day you roll out the fall menu it feels like fall today. I was thinking how nice it would be to be in Cracker Barrel with that fireplace with a roaring fire. The more I looked at the Shepards pie the more it appealed to me! They used to sell those apples in a glass jar. I wonder why they switched it to cans🤔? The pumpkin candle and the Charlie Brown T-shirt were awesome! I must say on this dank cold rainy day this video brought some sunshine to my day. Thanks guys for yet another awesome video!!

Minnesota here. We have one Cracker Barrel and it is so packed because everyone loves to go there including myself, wife and daughter. Looking forward to trying some of the new items ourselves and that green tea granny apple is it.
We do not have Cracker Barrel in Alaska! But I have been to a couple in Wisconsin a couple of times. I love everything about this place. The food, the environment, and the gift store. So if you ever go you should take extra money for the gift store. So amazing. I still use my ceramic tea pot I bought over 20 years ago.
I thank you guys for another great video ❤ For last 2 years I get the Cracker Barrel holiday pick up meals with the Turkey and all sides already cooked and boxed feeds 4 or more. They bring to your car it’s awesome ❤
Good Morning John and Bobbie! Love the Granny Apple iced tea. Daily Dish items all sound good! The hash brown casserole you had Bobbie I think I will try. The roast beef looked so tender like you and John said. All the veggies carrots, onions peas mashed potatoes and hash browns never bad to have potatoes two ways in one dish!!! Love the tomatoes and sour cream as garnish. John your fried apple French toast bake also sounds delicious cream cheese filling, streusel fried apples with bacon for me. Butter pecan syrup. Southern apple cobbler looks so delicious. My favorite apple cobbler. Dad made peach cobbler I liked too for summer! He was a good cook really miss him. Passed in 2014 at the age of 83. Mom also a good cook passed in 2019. Love the items in the gift shop!!! The glitter globe! Really unique gifts for Christmas!!! Love the little kids clothes!

You two are on my favorites list and I really enjoy your vlogs. My husband had that shepherd's pie at the Georgetown KY location yesterday and did not like it at all. He said the meat was tender but didn't have a lot of flavor and the rest of it was too greasy for him. It looked beautiful but he couldn't eat it and he is not a picky eater at all.
Ours was very good. Location vary so much. This one does a great job preparing the items. Hate to hear that. The only thing on ours was we wish we had more mashed potatoes. Ours was not greasy at all. Appreciate you guys watching 😎😎

The food looks delicious, Cracker Barrel does a great job, especially the fried apples, I love the vibe and definitely the fireplace, especially the stone work and mantel and how they decorated it.
I was not ready to see all the fall/pumpkin displays. It's only August. I do love their apples with the peel. If it were without it reminds me more of apple pie filling. But I understand that it is a texture issue for some. The skillet meal looked great. Hashbrowns and mashed potato. Yummy.

The prices at Cracker Barrel have remained pretty reasonable. Gnomes will never go out of style. I sell hundreds of homemade gnomes every year. I always love seeing what fall decor is out. I made a stack of pumpkins like those you saw for 30$, lol! Sometimes it pays to be a crafter! Sorry I haven't been watching, I had my first chemotherapy last Wednesday and have been quite ill. Thankfully today, I'm finally feeling better. So, I have treatment every 21 days. I have 5 treatments left. My last being 2 weeks before Christmas. ❤❤❤

hmmm Pork chops was moved from Monday nights, replacing that is the Chicken and Rice that was normally on Saturdays. Never had ribs as a daily special but that is on Saturdays now.. The pot roast replaces the Fried Chicken on Sundays. They didn't move Broccoli Cheddar Chicken so all is right in the world with me. MY FAVORITE!!!!

Good Morning John and Bobbie Happy Wednesday. Great Cracker Barrel New Fall menu Lineup Review. The food looks good I'm not a fan of shepherds pie I like the new York steak tips.
My wife and I tried the new menu last night at one of the "upstyled" CB's. I had the pot roast, and she had the "Sheperd's Pie." They are basically the same meal. Same base of meat and carrots in gravy. The pot roast was served over mashed potatoes while the "Shepard's pie" was the same meat, carrots, and gravy with hashbrown casserole on top. Both were good, but esp the "shepherd's pie" was not what we expected. Would have preferred the pot roast to be like their old campfire beef with chunks of potatoes cooked with it. Plus, it has much better flavor. And of course, for shepherd's pie, we would have preferred the more traditional style. Cost was expensive making it not a great value. Our thoughts on the decor were that it was too bright inside. Lots of glare from the wall lights and spotlights on the ceiling. They decluttered the design, but it honestly looked like a 1980's designer generic restaurant. Everything was too designer spaced, and just looked like some city designer's take on a fake country store. Just needed some plastic plants and it would have looked just like a California 1980 generic restaurant. There was no charm and nothing in there that made me feel like Grandma's house for Sunday dinner. Overall we called the new menu items a base hit but not a home run and thought the decor change was a complete miss.

I had the shepherd’s pie ( should be called cottage pie as it is beef, not lamb) and it is a lot of food! Shepherds herd sheep, not cattle ( beef)and In England, the beef version is called “cottage pie”.

You two are on my favorites list and I really enjoy your vlogs. My husband had that shepherd's pie at the Georgetown KY location yesterday and did not like it at all. He said the meat was tender but didn't have a lot of flavor and the rest of it was too greasy for him. It looked beautiful but he couldn't eat it and he is not a picky eater at all.
Ours was very good. Location vary so much. This one does a great job preparing the items. Hate to hear that. The only thing on ours was we wish we had more mashed potatoes. Ours was not greasy at all. Appreciate you guys watching 😎😎

Sorry I haven't been watching, I had my first chemotherapy last Wednesday and have been quite ill. Thankfully today, I'm finally feeling better. So, I have treatment every 21 days. I have 5 treatments left. My last being 2 weeks before Christmas. ❤❤❤

hmmm Pork chops was moved from Monday nights, replacing that is the Chicken and Rice that was normally on Saturdays. Never had ribs as a daily special but that is on Saturdays now.. The pot roast replaces the Fried Chicken on Sundays. They didn't move Broccoli Cheddar Chicken so all is right in the world with me. MY FAVORITE!!!!

My wife and I tried the new menu last night at one of the "upstyled" CB's. I had the pot roast, and she had the "Sheperd's Pie." They are basically the same meal. Same base of meat and carrots in gravy. The pot roast was served over mashed potatoes while the "Shepard's pie" was the same meat, carrots, and gravy with hashbrown casserole on top. Both were good, but esp the "shepherd's pie" was not what we expected. Would have preferred the pot roast to be like their old campfire beef with chunks of potatoes cooked with it. Plus, it has much better flavor. And of course, for shepherd's pie, we would have preferred the more traditional style. Cost was expensive making it not a great value. Our thoughts on the decor were that it was too bright inside. Lots of glare from the wall lights and spotlights on the ceiling. They decluttered the design, but it honestly looked like a 1980's designer generic restaurant. Everything was too designer spaced, and just looked like some city designer's take on a fake country store. Just needed some plastic plants and it would have looked just like a California 1980 generic restaurant. There was no charm and nothing in there that made me feel like Grandma's house for Sunday dinner. Overall we called the new menu items a base hit but not a home run and thought the decor change was a complete miss.
I thought the pot roast was very tender. I hope they don't decide to change the atmosphere at this location. We appreciate you watching and commenting. 😎😎

I had the shepherd’s pie ( should be called cottage pie as it is beef, not lamb) and it is a lot of food! Shepherds herd sheep, not cattle ( beef)and In England, the beef version is called “cottage pie”.
