Kristin, this is another brilliant design from Kristin Omdahl. The Sporty Luna Shrug can be resized into a bigger shawl by the row repetitions per strip and making more strips that can be joined-as-you-go. Definitely, a classy shrug/shawl using crocheted Bruges Lace( Bruges is a Belgian city that is famous for the beautiful hand-made laces.) I really admire this piece of design.

Hi Kristin, My name is Ashley, (My boys make youtube videos so they are Brother clips but it is my account)anyway, I just want to tell you that I'm so inspired by you and your creativity! I thank you for your video's and your tutorials! This video helped me greatly and I'm able to follow the written pattern so easily because of the video. This pattern is so much fun to do. This is really the first time I have attempted more of a motif pattern. I taught myself crochet by following along with youtube videos like yours and I just love this hobby! I am excited to see how this shrug turns out when it is finished. I absolutely love all of your items. I like the lightweight crochet because I live in Florida and with the weather being so hot it's so nice to find patterns that I can make and wear. I just thank you again and hope you always keep doing what your doing!

Hi! I agree. Really faint to hear. I have to put my head right up close to my speaker to hear and make sure there is no background noise ... really faint.. but great! Just wish I could hear it properly!

Thank you for this great video. When I saw your new Be So Serene yarn, I decided I want to make your sporty Luna shrug and started with some sport yarn from my stash. I began with the written instructions but wasn't sure about working in the side of a stitch so pulled up the video tutorial. All my questions were answered! Hooray! Lani Wheeler. I'm using the Be So Serene in Lovable to make the Sporty Luna shrug. It's turning out really nice. I'm using the H/5.00 mm. I have been going back and forth with the tutorial and written instructions....so far so good. :) Also, thanks Kristin for putting the time into this tutorial. I think it's spot on.

WARMEST HELLO its a DREAM watching this background visual is just breathtaking and your voice so slow and calming i find myself turning to your video's just for that help with calm like one does a therapist :) I would love to know if there is a way to do this in the round without cutting the yarn or a way to do this as a border without cutting the yarn as you go

Thank you! Yes of course you could continue in a spiral or in a round and join in the same fashion, but continuously.
i have completed row two now what do i do to keep going continuously? do i leave off the chain five spaces and just dc?

Hi Kristin, I love this pattern, however, I am confused by the pattern. In the video you show two rows of the pattern yet the finished picture looks like the pattern in done three times...is this correct. The pattern it self does not say how many strips to connect together....Help!! So is the pattern repeated three times for each strip? Hope I am making myself clear. Thank you
just followed your 1st video I did it how many flowers do I do on the 1st strip I know it is more than 2

Thanks for contacting me. Did you check out the pattern? It is worked in strips. If you want it longer, you would add more strips. If you want it wider, you would add more rows to your strips. Hope that helps!

Hi Kristin...been looking at all your beautiful shawls and finally decided top make one..... the Islamorada shawl ....so I bought the be so fine yarn. which came promptly and nicely package. I thought the yarn was going to be in a ball so when I tried to loose the loop it came with. I got the yarn in a tangle mess. the more I tried to untangle it the more it became tangled. I was was in tears. I couldn't believe it ....such a beautiful Yarn. I saw my 30.00 dollars going down the drain. Anyway the fighter in me came out and I was determined to untangle the entire mess. it took me 8 days with about 4 o 6 hours a day. My question here is how the heck do I work with the yarn in the loop it comes in? I feel so silly. I want to order more yarn but am afraid.
