I know this is an old video, but I want to post here that Eamon and Bec have inspired us old folks (59 and 62 yrs) to give #vanlife a try! We bought a "partially built-out" used Sprinter van and have added all the things we need to set off on our first 2 week trip! Although we will not be giving up our home of 30 years, the van is our plan for traveling with FREEDOM! Freedom to set out on an adventure across America. Maybe we will ship our van to Europe someday too! I tell my husband that I want to "turn left if I feel like going left, turn right if I feel like going right, and stop for every interesting activity along the way". Thank you , Eamon and Bec, for sharing your joy!
That's awesome Violet! Saving mode is such an important step in later appreciating what you have (once you're living vanlife)! You'll look back and be so grateful for all the hardwork etc that lead you to where you are ❤❤❤
I've just started the journey. I don't have a van yet so I'm car living. It's a new experience for me. Your videos are so helpful and the fact that you guys are in Toronto makes it more realistic for me because I'm in Mississauga. I was worried about the winters here on the east but I've watched your videos and see that it's possible. Thank you... what you do is so appreciated..
Thank you for always being real and authentic in your videos. The itch to go buy a van is strong. Lol But I'm trying to heed your tips as well as some others and want to make a serious plan on budgeting for the van buy, as well as for solar, electrics, appliances, lay out, etc. Its a big undertaking when you're getting serious about it in your own head and not just watching everyone else do it. Like you, I have started noticing a lot of solar panels on sprinters, promasters, and transits and thought OMG there's Another one! Hahaha Love y'all
I can't wait to get into van living. My daughter graduates next summer and since I use to live in my 1980 chevy travelling Alaska, I am looking at a 2020 Ford Transit next fall. The wife is excited also for our new change. As much as I want to do it NOW......I don't want to cheap out on things, so we are saving. I'm a Vancouver Island boy, Comox to be exact, so I can relate to the rain, rain, rain and more rain. lol. Vancouver is beautiful but only summer time. I highly recommend the Island and especially Tofino if you haven't been. If you have been to Vancouver, I'm guessing you took a swing through Kelowna, where we currently live. It is truly amazing hear in the summertime. Surrounded by fruit orchards and many many lakes. the in-climate.......climate......in-climate is usally sun. lol Yah I would have to agree with Eamon on that one. lol you have me questioning my knowledge now. lolI have seen I can't count how many of your videos, this one is my favourite. You two are awesome and it shows how much you work together, and love each others. That alone you can teach many people out there. Its at the point I type anything into youtube and your name comes up. lol Holy shit am I babbling now. Thank you over and over for all your info, you are truly helping me designing my own. Sean
Going to live in my little RV trailer for month or two before I buy a van and get into van living. I am so excited to get into the life and hit the road!
Thank you for this vid! Most of these, I guess I KNEW, but didn't THINK about. Also, for the "take a break" thing, when we think about it, when you own a home, or rent an apartment, you take breaks of it all the time! You take breaks to go to work 40h/week. When you go for a vacation, you take a breaks from it. When you visit your mom for the weekend, you take a break from your home. But with Van life, you bring your home with you on vacation, camping, visiting. And that's why you need to take breaks from it too.
Totally agree with everything you've said Eliane! It's funny how I KNEW all of these things before vanlife yet wish someone had gently reminded me before jumping in! And yes, taking even a one night break from the van can and will make you so much more grateful for this beautiful, transient lifestyle :)
Thank you Mehdi! We always try to portray ourselves as authentically as possible and am happy to hear that comes across in our videos. Can't thank you enough for being a part of our UA-cam family ❤❤
I am a young 20-something and in the research phase of jumping into vanlife, and your videos have really encouraged me that this is possible and exciting! The tips on being prepared for inclement weather and taking short breaks were especially important for me to hear. Thanks guys! The van living movement shall soon have another addition!
I’ve been so inspired by the #vanlife community. The fact that so many people got started just by watching videos on UA-cam and doing research on the internet is truly inspiring and motivating. And the idea of traveling with your home sounds amazing! I just moved to Washington after living in England for 3 years, and I am currently looking at vans so I can start my own build! Loving the build series btw, keep up the great work guys!✌️❤️
AMAZING all around Melissa!! I totally agree... it is what keeps us motivated to post on UA-cam (giving back to this amazing community and hopefully inspiring others to join the movement!). Best of luck with your own ad-van-tures and keep us posted on how it all goes XX
Greetings from Andy (pictured) and me from Orange County California. Really enjoy your videos. Your upbeat personalities make them more of a pleasure to watch than some others. Very cute early on how you guys call each other buddy. I'm just starting out looking for the van that suits me. I've pretty much settle on a Dodge ProMaster as the make and model but still vacillating between the 136 inch wheelbase or the 152(?). It being a front-wheel drive and thus having more room to work with underneath without a drive shaft being in the way appeals to me. Probably go for that pull out bed design like Bob has as it's just me and Andy, so I probably won't be even pulling it out that much. One thing I have gleaned from watching all these van build videos is that I am definitely not going to do it myself. I know it will cost a little more, but for me it's worth it to have somebody else, with a proven track record, who knows what the hell they're doing, to actually do it. I imagine you guys would be relatively fast at it now with everything you've learned from your builds. Anyway, thanks for the entertainment and the useful information and perspectives. 👍
Bec, and Eamon- first off, you guys are awesome! I benefit so much from your videos. I’m not currently in the van life, but I will (lord willing) be starting this journey in a sprinter next year. Your videos allow me to prepare as much as you can for this lifestyle. You both deserve so many more subscribers!
Awe thanks so much for your kind words Casey!! I'm sure you will make vanlife a reality and you will enjoy every minute of it because of your hardwork and dedication to achieving this lifestyle!! Sending you lots of love Xx
Another great video guys! Watching you guys, and the MMs over the last several months has inspired me so much. Vanlife is something that I've been curious about for a while, but seeing Eamon and Bob working on the new build has me itching so hard to get a Sprinter of my own. I've been devouring Vanlife videos, and have to say that the layout for Trinity, and Bob's van is by far my favourite. Your videos are super helpful in getting one to think ahead, and avoid some of the pitfalls that you guys have experienced and discussed. Thank you so much for the amazing content ❤️
Wow, what an amazing comment! You are the reason we continue to push through and make more content!! So excited to hear that we've helped inspire you to pursue your own ad-van-ture and that Eamon + Bob's build together has been helpful XX
have been binge watching your videos & I am in love your van, videos, and you guys are super cool!! This video just got me soon unbelievably excited to start van life. bought a sprinter a few days ago and the whole budget thing is wayy too real. but going to take your advice and buy the better quality stuff now, so thanks! also know all too well about 'inclement' weather challenges, lived in and out of a tent for 4 months so hoping ill be better suited with at least solid walls! (i hope.. lol) happy adventuring!
This video has encouraged me to reach out to you guys and let you know how awesome you are. Thank you for all the encouraging words about vanlife. I understand that there will be pros and cons moving foward to vanlife. I will be making my Van purchase today! It has been many months coming, but I'm ready! Thank you and I look forward to seeing you on the road!
You are right on the movement, we started in August of 2016, and it has exploded. Living in northern Wisconsin, we understand your weather comments. We look at our build as continuous. Each trip or adventure, teaches us what we like and don't like, then changes are made. Our Promaster was one of the best purchase we have made. Thanks for sharing. Say Hi to Bob for us, we are the same age.
Taking a break is great idea! I’m setting up my van for use while traveling for work (4mths at a time, 8mths a year). When I’m off work I have a home base I go to to recharge and relax.
GOOD MORNING BEC AND EAMON!😍😁 was still a.m. on the West coast when I started this. Lol. Experience, circumstance, and new perspectives have led me and my husband to the decision to live tiny. To stop living by the "consumer social standard" wherever possible. I started researching tiny houses about a year ago which then led to researching van life. Thanks to people like you who share their experiences I'm pretty sure I've got it all covered. We're planning for a new or new used, long wheelbase high top, deisal Promaster. I've just gotta have room for a cartridge toilet and atomizing shower head, for my dog and 2 cats, a place to paint and draw + supplies, and of course for my 6' 1" husband ❤. As well as all the other practical necessities. Solar, fans, heater/fireplace, water tank, hot water on demand, induction cooktop, etc. I've drafted the floor plan and we're starting to collect everything we need. Looking forward to floating between caring for my parents, and helping my kids with my grandkids (always have a place to park for the night) ...and the FREEDOM of running away from it all. 🚐 (Really long-winded today).
Tami Schmidt thanks so much for sharing your story with us Tami! Can't wait to see what how your layout comes to fruition! The dogs and cats must be best friends if you're confident they'll all be able to live in 60 sq ft together... love it 💛🌼☀
Husband and i have started a self conversion on a 1975 ford e250 van with a school bus convention and we can not wait to finish!we are living in it while we convert and we both hold full time jobs and we adopted a dog when we bought the van. You can do anything! So adventure on my friends!
Thank you for sharing your story with us Chelsy! Sounds like an awesome project to take on with your husband! And a dog?! How awesome! We've been thinking heavily about adopting a dog of our own. Van life is made for puppers :)
Thank you for sharing your story with us Chelsy! Sounds like an awesome project to take on with your husband! And a dog?! How awesome! We've been thinking heavily about adopting a dog of our own. Van life is made for puppers :)
Building out my van right now! I think the most exciting part if definitely the community. I hear so much about how awesome it is and truly can’t wait to be a part 😄. Also it’s SUPER helpful and inspiring to have the daily vlogs of Bob’s build coming out. Love your content guys!!
OMG! You guys are one of the van “peeps” that inspired me. I put my notice in Oct. 2018. I placed my things in storage and currently live in my 4-runner. I placed an order for my van which won’t be here till March 2019. It will take another 2-months to convert. The best decision made. BTW, I was paying $1200 for a room in OC.
I have been thinking about insulating our two caravans and one product I will be using is a rubberised polymer as I am adding more insulation to a van that already has its internal walls. So I love the idea of external insulation
'i love the feeling of my own kiss. it's really soft and sweet. and you're lucky you get them all the time' loll the looks on Eamon's face after this had me cracking up!
I've had a few people tell me to check you guys out (I was sold at "they are vegan, Canadian and sell chai"). We're also Canadian and Vegan and finally after 4-5 years of dreaming, we just bought our first van.
How awesome that you've taken on your own conversion project :) Hopefully some of our electrical videos were able to help you out. If you have any specific questions, let us know!
👋🏼 I have a RAM 🐏 Promaster 🚐 high top and I am planning to convert her out myself (I’m a nurse 👩🏼⚕️)! 😳 I’m SO glad to hear that the van life community is tight as I have a lot of 🤷🏼♀️ questions for you all!! 🚰🚽🛏
I think if you live there it's all a balance, but when you only have 2 weeks to visit and it rains every day it's a bit of a drag!! We're so excited to give Vancouver another shot for the summer :)
Hi Michael, thank you so much for leaving a comment! Glad to have you join our community here. That's awesome!! Looking forward to hearing how your own ad-van-tures turn out :)
I love you guys so much! My boyfriend Alex and I are about a month away from buying our first van! I am enjoying watching the van build for Bob! Thank you for consistently being yourselves and making great videos! Hope to meet you someday, maybe someday soon! We're from Portland, Oregon and Canada is at the top of our travel list!
Hi Andy (can I call you Andy?! :)). That sounds incredible! I'm so excited to hear that you and your bf are well on your way to joining the van life movement! I'm sure the local community in Portland is truly incredible XX
Eamon & Bec yes I'm so excited! I've been following you guys for months. And my name is actually Andrea. I should change that probably lol! Have another great day and I love you guys so much! Sending love from ptown!
Thank you! I am getting a van next year after I move into my own house. I will be part time, but I am fine with that! :) Every 6 weeks I will holiday for a week when I get my van! It's nice to know all this stuff :) Kat xx
So happy to hear that you are joining the van life movement ❤❤. Part time is awesome because (as we mentioned) it will help you appreciate the moments of freedom etc. Happy and safe trails Kat XX
Thank you so much for the warm welcome :) My parents have been living in a holiday van for 6 months of the year for the last 10 years, so they and the van life community have inspired me to semi retire early and do much the same :) Why not :) Kat xx
My girlfriend and I are going to be moving into a 27ft travel trailer full time. We would go smaller, but we have 2 decent size dogs that need some space. Plus we only really travel in the winter time (Were in Colorado and we go to Florida in the winter). I own a business, so I can’t be gone during the summers.
That sounds awesome!! We've been thinking lots about adopting a pupper too. Van life/ RV life is such a great life for them!! Happy and safe trails to you and your girlfriend James :)
I got into van life this year while finishing my tiny house. I realised I want to travel around more but although my tiny house is on wheels, it's more stationary - it's just too big to be moved a lot. A sprinter is my plan for the future once my house is complete and all set up so I can switch between the two. Luckily, sprinters are WAY cheaper here in Europe. I'm really hoping for an electric version some day in the future. Your channel is both very fun and informative and I gladly follow along before starting my own conversion. Thank you for this video!
Thank you so much for sharing your story with us Nessa! Sounds like you truly will have the "best of both worlds" as they say! Best of luck with you tiny house build and much love to you from Canada XX
Happy to hear you are going to give Vancouver another try! You definitely need to embrace the rain if you live here full time though ☔️ looking forward to seeing your adventures out west this summer #northshoreliving
Being in freezing weather in an unheated van is not fun!!! It cost a lot to keep warm in public spaces!!!! Apps didn’t exist in my van life days!!!!😂. Small highway pull offs are great to cook or sleep at. We also camped in undeveloped campsites and built outdoor kitchens out of river stones- so great to cook over a fire when you can with a cast iron tripod and oven rack on hooks.
Hey guys 👋 how’s the freecampsite.com since pandemic??? Do they really shut down many free camp sites??? I’m just wondering since I really want to try the van life but I’m afraid because all that problems lol 😆 thanks
I would subscribe, but the phone will not let me. But the kids dragged me to cell phone, computer, and internet. But I'm trying absolutely to get it going. You two are fantastic, keep it coming. Love your blog.
GREAT POINT with "beating the crap out of it" - Partially why I chose the strategy of the camper trailer, so I could detach my car and do camping and travel without the abuse. That said, I totally agree. My finances have certainly shown that I spend much more now on maintenance to my vehicle, even with this strategy!! Good video, worthy tips.
Love your videos!! Always enjoy them no matter what you're doing. Love the daily blogs and Bob as well. Thanks so much for sharing so much of your life and hope one day I might meet you both. (No van yet though)
Awesome video guys! My girlfriend and I just finished a road trip through British Columbia and up to Alaska. The whole time we were wishing we had a van so we wouldn't have to set up the tent every night!
Oh wow, that sounds like the exact trip we'd like to do this summer!! How did you enjoy it?! Any recommendations you may have would be much appreciated ❤❤
Eamon & Bec Awesome!! It was so much fun. We loved it. We started in Utah, went through Seattle, up to Prince George and then up the Alcan, into Yukon and over to Skagway, AK. If you do it, I would totally recommend you go check out Liard Hot springs in northern BC. It's such a relaxing spot to check out after a couple of super long days of driving.
We bought a sprinter a couple of months ago and are trying very hard to get rid of our possessions at the moment to move in. Come say Gday if you guys are visiting Straya again one day
Can you do a video about insuring your modded van in Ontario? Also how you deal with your "permanent address" on your driver's license and for taxes, if someone actually didnt have a fixed address
Love this! Have you ever thought of sizing up to a skoolie? I'm obsessed with tiny living but mostly drawn to skoolies. I love your channel, it's like hanging out with friends. Say hi to Bob! Thanks for the hard work you do to make the videos. 💝🐛🦋🌞💖
Hi Onnie!! You've certainly got a friend in the both of us so I'm glad you feel that way ❤. Bob says hi back! And, as for the skoolie... that may be a +kids upgrade for us but for now we are super happy with our 60 sq ft :):)
You are right... now that you are saying it and trying to define it, it DOES sound weird, and it's bizarre how we even know how to say and use this word and not know what it really means (because I couldn't define it, either! LOL!) It doesn't actually mean extreme weather, I really didn't know that either >> in·clem·ent inˈklemənt adjective: inclement (of the weather) unpleasantly cold or wet. synonyms: cold, chilly, bleak, wintry, freezing, snowy, icy ..... so a heat wave is NOT inclement weather! Love you guys!
Thanks for this video. :-) My boyfriend and I are currently building our van. Its more difficult than expected, especially because i wanted an older van. We bought a 1993 Chevy G20. I love it, but majority of van life videos ive watch before getting into this were Sprinter Van. Im about to start my UA-cam Channel (Kanuk On The Road) to share our Van Life experience. Im from Montreal (Canada), but currently live in Florida. In exactly 2 weeks, we will be leaving Florida to Montreal. And until October, Kanuk will be on the road all the way to Vancouver to then come back to Montreal before going south again!
I really love your vlog todayy, it’s very well delivered and not to mention so much fun to watch! Can you share more about the safety aspects of living in the van? Thanks in advance! 💛
just came across your channel a couple hours ago and have been binging on your videos! and subscribed! You guys are awesome! I'm seriously considering the van life, hence how I came across your channel... keep it up folks, really good content! btw Im also from Toronto... and in Toronto haha :D
I will never be able to hear the word "inclement" the same and will probably replace it with "hard core" like Eamon did, haha. You guys rock! Thanks for the hindsight. Hopefully to see you out there one day!
Hahaha it's been raining all day and we keep saying it's so "inclement" out and giggling. Word has officially been added to the "instant giggle" list!!
Melbourne, Australia has very "inclement weather".... beautiful one day; car seat belt scalding the next and pissing down with rain and/or hail stones the day after that.... TBH I have experience 38C before noon and hail stones by 3pm... but hey... it's my town. LOL. x But do come visit... we have GREAT vegan food cafes/restaurants/food vans/take away food and Melbourne is known for great eating in general. We are also renowned for our annual comedy festival. So come on down. ( I won't say "down under" because NO AUSTRALIAN EVER says that.... lmao... unless they're singing along with "Men At Work". We love you guys. Shez & GG.
Thank you for responding and answering our questions the other day! Great tip on ioverlander. Are you guys installing a small air conditioning unit or do you find your fan to be enough. I’m intsalling a Maxx that draws air in and out and a small vented window.
We had no major issues with our setup while in Mexico or last summer in Canada so there's no plans for an air conditioner any time soon! And you're welcome.. glad we can help :)
Today I'm getting my van ready for it's maiden voyage tomorrow. Just going out on a one night trip to test the build out, but my excitement is so inclement. 🚐
Great honest thoughts like always! I've enjoyed watching Bob and y'all's build these past few weeks too. If you're ever in San Francisco hit me up for the spots and information and stuff. We could even exchange van tours!

THANK YOU CHAD! We love your positivity and kindness and appreciate you always XX
Thanks for all the videos, your content is great!
This was extremely helpful. My husband and I are very interested in van life. I’m excited but hesitant. Thank you!!!
Enjoying you both, happy days x 🌍 x
Just want to say the lighting and the set up in this video are ON POINT!!
Oh well thank you!! That's all mother nature :)
I am all for you guys being crazy as well. You guys are funny you make your videos interesting. And you’re just real down to earth people

If you guys ever pass through Windsor on your way to the US give me a shout, and I'll show you the best vegan, and vegan friendly spots in the city :)
Eamon's facial expression at Bec's kissing herself made me laugh out loud. So funny. Haha
Hahha not going to lie... I'm going to have to go back and watch that now!!

I think the only reason it's becoming a "movement" is because of social media, but living in your vehicle has always been around and been a thing
Theme Park 🤗😁😁😁😉
rent at extremes doesn't help... over 2k for a single bedroom apt...
@@tylerdurden1217 omg where, in quebec we got a 3bedroom apt for 675$ electric included
Thank you for sharing your story with us Jim!! And yes, for sure... we'll tell Bob you say hi! Maybe you'll catch him on the road someday XX
Hey from CA! You shared some very valid points! Change forces growth! Following your journey with Bob’s van has been amazing!
Awe, so glad you've been enjoying our van build series. We've had so much fun making it and sharing it with you Suzanne XX
The inclement weather bit killed me lol! LOVE your videos!
Taking a break is great idea! I’m setting up my van for use while traveling for work (4mths at a time, 8mths a year). When I’m off work I have a home base I go to to recharge and relax.
That sounds like the perfect setup ❤❤. Greatest way to re-appreciate this lifestyle and all of it's amazing qualities!
The dogs and cats must be best friends if you're confident they'll all be able to live in 60 sq ft together... love it 💛🌼☀
Eamon & Bec they actually do very well together. All 3 are rescues. And they all sleep in bed with us. Lol.

Building out my van right now! I think the most exciting part if definitely the community. I hear so much about how awesome it is and truly can’t wait to be a part 😄. Also it’s SUPER helpful and inspiring to have the daily vlogs of Bob’s build coming out. Love your content guys!!
Aaron Simmons how exciting!! Sending you lots of positivity for a happy, seamless van build. See you on the road ✌
Thank you for all the help with van life. Love you guys!
So happy to know we were able to help you in some way! Much love Wayne ❤❤
Downloaded iOverlander right away! Thats going to be so helpful for our trip!
OO so glad I could share that with you! Best app ever :) SAFE & happy TRAILS XX
Loving these daily vlogs! It’s a cool throwback to see the whole process! Love it! 🤗
I have installed ioverlander after hearing you peeps talk about it, is am in Australia so look forward to contributing
I am also looking to install a cell phone booster in our van
Love that we got to hear from Bec a whole bunch in this video, I've missed her in the vlogs!
You are too sweet!! I've missed you too XX
love you guys! hope to see you out on the road soon!!
Would love that ❤ Happy trails Aaron!
y'all are so funny xD Love your passion for vanlife!
Thanks Amelia ❤❤. Happy to hear our love for this lifestyle shines through :)
How many inches of floor/ceiling insulation would you recommend for the cold weather? Or what did you do that was not enough?
'i love the feeling of my own kiss. it's really soft and sweet. and you're lucky you get them all the time' loll the looks on Eamon's face after this had me cracking up!
Hahaha sometimes while editing these videos I can't believe half the things I/we say and do lol ❤❤
Love your videos! I just bought my van and start converting next week. THANK YOU FOR AWLAYS BEING SO HELPFUL 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
HEY NOW!! That's AWESOME JORDON! Congratulations on beginning your own ad-van-tures. Let us know if we can help you in any way ❤❤
Eamon & Bec I will, thank you so much!!
I've had a few people tell me to check you guys out (I was sold at "they are vegan, Canadian and sell chai"). We're also Canadian and Vegan and finally after 4-5 years of dreaming, we just bought our first van.
Helpful video. Right now I'm busy converting my sprinter, struggling with electrical a bit but that's part of the process I guess
I’m SO glad to hear that the van life community is tight as I have a lot of 🤷🏼♀️ questions for you all!! 🚰🚽🛏
Lol, I live in Vancouver. Everyone complains about the rain. But I enjoy it I think it’s so relaxing 😌
I think if you live there it's all a balance, but when you only have 2 weeks to visit and it rains every day it's a bit of a drag!! We're so excited to give Vancouver another shot for the summer :)
Van life driving the Alaska Dalton Highway its be a epic trip I may try it out
Totally agree!! Think it would be AMAAAZING ❤❤
Cool cool...just the app you was saying I didn't
Love you guys lol youre always so positive, even when you aren't having the best time. Much love stay awesome ✌❤
Thank you Melissa. Much love to you too ❤❤
Hey guys, I've been watching your channel for a while now. I totally love the idea and I'm saving up for my van. Many thanks for sharing your story.
Hi Michael, thank you so much for leaving a comment! Glad to have you join our community here. That's awesome!! Looking forward to hearing how your own ad-van-tures turn out :)
i love watching john stamos and aunt becky
Cute couple, Thanks for the info
Happy and safe trails to you and your girlfriend James :)
also you guys are the cutest keep being yourselves thank you for this!💖
Thank you love! We appreciate you :)
Wish, i knew you before - find you yesterday on yt and love your vids, you both are very natural and symphatic!
iLike :-))
Happy to hear you are going to give Vancouver another try! You definitely need to embrace the rain if you live here full time though ☔️ looking forward to seeing your adventures out west this summer #northshoreliving
We're super excited to share our west coast trip with you all too!! Rain or shine!!
Awesome info thank you. Have a great weekend you two. 😀
Adventure Spirit One thanks for tuning in and sharing your own experiences as well 💛☀
Love your videos!! Always enjoy them no matter what you're doing. Love the daily blogs and Bob as well. Thanks so much for sharing so much of your life and hope one day I might meet you both. (No van yet though)
Awe, thanks so much for following our journey and for your support of Bob's new vanlife adventure XX
😍 Love you guys. 😘 Good info on Vanlife and being aware of your surroundings ( Seasons).
Love your videos ☺️💚😀
When are you guys going to be in Vancouver?? Meet-up!?!
Maybe!! We think we'll start making our way to the west coast in two weeks or so. A Vancouver meet up could be fun ❤
Eamon & Bec well I’ll be in Vancouver last week of June. But if you need anything on your way there in Edmonton... I’m your guy
Love this, you guys are so real about it! ❤
We bought a sprinter a couple of months ago and are trying very hard to get rid of our possessions at the moment to move in. Come say Gday if you guys are visiting Straya again one day
How awesome!! Congrats on the beginning of your own adVANtures :)
9:10 that little moment oh my
HAHHAA can't believe half the things we say in do!!
love you guys so much
lol I just like it all the time. Y'all crack me up. Crazy works. Have you guys been serious somewhere and I missed it? ;)
HAHAH good point!! This is likely one of our most "serious" videos ever lol!
Aweee i love you guys!!!!!!
thankyou for the app suggestion awesome
For sure!! It is easily our favourite app since joining van life!
LOL!) It doesn't actually mean extreme weather, I really didn't know that either >>
in·clem·ent inˈklemənt
adjective: inclement (of the weather) unpleasantly cold or wet.
synonyms: cold, chilly, bleak, wintry, freezing, snowy, icy ..... so a heat wave is NOT inclement weather! Love you guys!
I genuinely look forward to your daily vlogs, so THANK YOU! Quick question... did you buy your van used or new? Same question for Bob's van!
You're amazing, thanks for the kindness Courtney! We bought both vans used in Toronto :)
Love the show! Do you recommend a van with lower maintenance ? You said the sprinter needs a lot of maintenance.
Sounds awesome!! Wishing you guys a beautiful advanture ahead XX
I really love your vlog todayy, it’s very well delivered and not to mention so much fun to watch! Can you share more about the safety aspects of living in the van? Thanks in advance! 💛
Glad you enjoyed the vidster Evelyn!! Happy to share more about safety aspects in some upcoming vlogs XX
Glad you enjoyed the vidster Evelyn!! Happy to share more about safety aspects in some upcoming vlogs XX
just came across your channel a couple hours ago and have been binging on your videos! and subscribed!
What kind of camera do you use for filming / photography!?
I agree with Eamon on “inclement” haha. Maybe it’s a US vs Canadian pronunciation though, 🤣🤣
Melbourne, Australia has very "inclement weather".... beautiful one day; car seat belt scalding the next and pissing down with rain and/or hail stones the day after that.... TBH I have experience 38C before noon and hail stones by 3pm... but hey... it's my town. LOL. x
But do come visit... we have GREAT vegan food cafes/restaurants/food vans/take away food and Melbourne is known for great eating in general. We are also renowned for our annual comedy festival. So come on down. ( I won't say "down under" because NO AUSTRALIAN EVER says that.... lmao... unless they're singing along with "Men At Work". We love you guys. Shez & GG.
Do you have wifi in your van? If not do you know if it’s possible to get wifi
What suggions would you give for someone that is fascinated by this life and the freedoms it brings.
Love you guys... Thanks for share!! Kisses from Brazil! 😁 😘
Much love right back to you from Canada Tais!!
I couldn’t find the app you guys mentioned “islander or ilander” how is it spelled?
It's www.iOverlander.com
Love this video. Great advice.
Thanks Nico! We appreciate you.
Merci de partager 😃
Retirement plan = Van Life 🙃
Heck yeah!!! You can join Bob on the road :)
Today I'm getting my van ready for it's maiden voyage tomorrow. Just going out on a one night trip to test the build out, but my excitement is so inclement. 🚐
OMG hahah that's so awesome Mick!! Yay for night 1 in the van. Those butterflies of excitement are just the best!!
Great honest thoughts like always! I've enjoyed watching Bob and y'all's build these past few weeks too. If you're ever in San Francisco hit me up for the spots and information and stuff. We could even exchange van tours!
Scott Crossen thanks scott!! Will do Xx
What's the best website to look at to buy vans that are already built
Hmm not too sure. Sorry we're not much help Morgan but good luck finding your own adventure mobile!
