Diaz and gravenberch are the most improved players so far this season. Not only their performance but their consistency improved too. After last season most of us didn’t mind if they’d be sold or benched. But now both are key players in this team. Hopefully they can continue their form all the way.
@@deansteenkamp6329 konate always been the beast even before this season. That’s why I don’t really surprised about ibou’s performance. Its his availability always been the problem. But I get what you meant. Ibou reached another level this season. Hopefully ibou can stay fit this season. Our defence is rock solid with him in it
Arne Slot has repositioned all Liverpool players to their correct positions and has improved the quality of their technical skills. Additionally, he has adjusted the team's tactics to better suit their positions and skills. As a result, Arne Slot's squad has shown improved accuracy in passing, greater dominance on the pitch, and has been able to create more scoring opportunities, particularly against teams known for defensive tactics of "Parking the Bus"!
@@shoechalk5982 I think that Endo will have more play time in the other tournaments, besides, Arne Slot is depending on the higher discipline scores during his observation if during the training or during the matches!
Gravenberch has become our seasons savor so far, highly improved which then the rest of team is highly improved like Diaz and Szoboszlai just too name a couple. It's amazing how much we needed a player like Gravenbech last season, but nonetheless Endo did an insane job carrying our defense which no one expected by the way. I hope Gravenberch keeps up his performance all season!
My hope for Slot is starting to look more correct as the season goes along. I had hoped that Klopp is our Shankly, and Slot is our Paisley. Shankly turned Liverpool into believers- and Paisley turned Liverpool into a Dynasty. The Slot Machine is looking real good early days.
Like all foreign players they need 1 season to adjust to epl. Graven had the summer to develop physicality. He is now much stronger to go with his natural ability. Bajcetic has been dominating RB Salzburg midfield in his first 2 games. Why waste money on another 6. We will need to spend big on VVD and Salah replacements soon.
When we got him last year I was stoked.... but then watching back his Bayern UCL games and the few early minutes he got with Liverpool you could say he was technically talented but lacked aggression.... he never imposed himself in the game the way Dom did from the start. Maybe a lack of confidence because he'd spent a year or more being told he wasn't good enough at Bayern but it was an underwhelming first year. But he certainly is imposing himself now and I am super happy for him. I still think they should ship Endo and bring in Ederson. He would be a great addition. I don't think Zubimendi has the physicality needed for the premiere league but we'll see how it plays out. Either way super happy for Ryan.
Endo would be great for domestic cup games as he is a senior player in terms of age, can be a mentor for the younglings…i’d keep him for at least another season…
Really happy about Gravenberch's form. But he needs to keep it up the whole season - not just 5 games. Plus, Liverpool need to use the squad - we only have 6 fit midfielders and Elliot is out until end of October. Ideally get another number 6 midfielder in January.
I'm from Malaysia, I'd been dreaming for what you got since 2005. Thank you for being there for us bro, you are very lucky to be there seeing everything live action! 😊
He's yet to fully claim the DM position imo. There are some times where he was not able to command the midfield. For now, if he could improve in ball retention as well as strength, he would be ideal DM. The fully development of him in the position would be complete.
every players need the right person/manager and the right time/place to ‘switch them on’.. just look at Salah, when he was at Chelsea, flop. Fiorentina and Roma, was okay..until he came to Liverpool with the right manager (Klopp), that he turned into an unstoppable beast. Maybe Klopp wasnt the right guy to manage Grave but Slot is, perhaps it’s a Dutch thingy…who knows..😅
He didn’t play a defensive role last season so obviously he wouldn’t have the numbers 🤷🏻♂️ You can’t say his defensive ability has improved, his defensive contribution clearly has though. The reasons for this are the interesting part. Some of it is down to how Klopp used him and how Slit now does. Actually being given regular minutes will surely only help as well, confidence wise at least.
we just need bajectic next season as backup. likely morton as well. but a squad depth improvement wont hurt. and im still curious about how will slot use endo this season. if theres a coach that can fully utilises his players then its slot
A club like Liverpool doesn't have the luxury to bring in nice bench piece They need a James Milner type utility player who can cover in several positions at a decent level to allow for squad rotation And if he has great leadership qualities and comes as a free transfer, that's a bonus
I don't subscribe to the narrative that Grav was useless last season. He didn't perform the same duties under Klopp and in the little time he had in mostly cup games he showed up well. But saying that, now that Rodri is out for the season we MUST beat City to Zubimendi, although the Spanish pull is in City's favour.
I’m with you panenka on the praise that you’ve been giving GB. He’s been great for us so far. But you should also mention the fact that he also has the tendency to give the ball away cheaply and unnecessarily at times. And when he does it tends to leave us vulnerable to a counterattack from the opposition. I love how he’s been playing but he needs to clean that up asap.
Well I don't think he gives up the ball as much as Salah for instance or Lucho or even Trent. He lost the ball three times vs Bournemouth and probably less than that against Inter. Since Wiljnaldum he's really the first player we've gotten who really resists the press. He'll improve, but right now he possesses a skill set that none of our other players do
@@FitzroyGeorge-c4h you’re correct. He doesn’t turn the ball over as much as Lucho, Salah, or Szobo (Szobo being the main culprit for sloppy passes imo and jones should be given more opportunities in that role). But that’s to be expected considering they’re in a much more advanced roll on the pitch trying to break through the oppositions back line. That’s just the nature of playing in those positions. It’s also a lot less consequential when they lose or turn the ball over bc they are much higher up the pitch with numbers behind them to defend an attempted counter attack. The times GB gives it away, most times it just seems like an unnecessarily dangerous pass to make and it leaves our backline vulnerable to a counter. But yes I agree, I think he’ll continue to improve and grow wiser with his decision making. He truly is an amazing talent.
Forgive Sobo, he is covering a great deal of distance box to box. His needs to catch a breath in between. Too bad him and Salah did not track back for NF counterattack to support Conor. We had a very, very poor rest defence overally at that point in the game. I hope we learnt important lessons in those moments when making risky passes with the team out of shape. Composure and a couple of passes is all it takes most times to allow team to get back in shape.

If you haven't the resources to buy new players every window, get a coach to improve what you already got...
