"This year was a difficult one and this song "I Did it For Peace" was written during a thunderstorm both literally and figuratively. The power went out, in darkness I lit a candle, sat at the piano and pressed record on my phone's voice memo recorder. I placed my hands on the piano...4 minutes and 12 seconds later I pressed stop and it was done. It was't until three weeks later that I opened up my voice memos and heard what I had recorded that night. For the first time in my life a whole song wrote itself in the time it took to play it, 4 minutes and 12 seconds. What you hear is exactly note for note, lyric for lyric what came through me on that thunderous night. I didn't want to change anything, as I felt it came from above. There are moments in one's life that make you realize the power of the God, and for me this was one of those moments. I am grateful and I thank you all so much for listening. It was a big deal over the way he said all lives matter. I know the group didn't want to lose him. I know they didn't. They probably took managers advice and I think it was a total misreading of what Remi said when held up against the BLM movement in the U.S. He didn't mean what they felt he meant. But the business world is cruel.

I miss Remigio when he sang with the group. He sang "Angels Calling." My son died in 2018. That was the first song that found me and gave me a reason to hold my head out of my pillow each night for months and months. His voice seemed to penetrate my heart and I wish him well. I will always be grateful for his conviction to his belief's. No controversy can overcome his heart felt words in song.

I was horrified.... I couldn't believe that they would fire you and not speak to you ever again. They were your friends for 10 years, I don't understand this kind of love. ....it's not love if they are supposed to be christians, they are not showing that at all! Remi - I am still so moved by your sincerity and your obvious pain in this recording. I can listen to it repeatedly and never get tired of the
raw beauty of it. Are you planning to come out with a CD any time soon? I've been playing this song for everyone just to share your caliber
of work with them. God gave you a gift that not many others can hope to achieve. I went to see Il Divo and felt that their sound was more like screaming than singing especially compared to the passion in every song that you sing and at the same time the impressive depth of feeling that comes through. Don't let the abandonment you experienced by the guys from your former group get you down. Granted the four of you together created the best tenor music I had ever heard - but the other three have suffered a huge loss of talent without your powerful voice and your tremendous vocal range. I will be first in line to buy your CD as soon as you release one.
Remi - I still can't get enough of your passionate vocals in this piece. I really do think you you were trying to show your love for all humanity when you put all lives matter during the singing of the anthem. I for the life of me could not see that as a racial slur. It's obvious that the rift between you and the other 3 will never be mended although their treatment of you went directly against words that were sung in your last PBS taping in Windsor. When you sang this song, you were grieving. I am someone who truly admires you so please take my next words as trying to move you beyond that grief. Take off your grieving hat and get on a stage that has acoustics that bring out the power, the passion and your incredible vocal range. You are better than most tenors because whether you are hitting the higher notes or those glorious base notes - your performance is so powerful, some of the smaller stages you have recently performed on did nothing for your vocal purity because the sound came out kind of tinny for lack of a better word. Take off your mourning clothes, dress the part of a successful tenor, hold your head up high and prove to the world that the gift God gave you will not disappear. I am praying for you and I am hoping that one day you will do a solo performance in Windsor. I would love to meet you and give you a big hug - your voice has given me such joy and I know there are a lot of others that feel the same way.

My heart aches as I watch and listen to you Remi singing this. I see God instructing you to show the talents you have that he gave to you and when I look at your foot prints in the sand it reminds me of the song, poem, and words that when He was asked why there was only one set of prints and he answered because that is when he was carrying you. I can surely see and feel this. I see you setting on the ocean bank in the rain as you had to be begging in your heart for God to help you with the answer to why the other 3 treated you like you had the plague yet your heart led you to do this because you are the only one of you 4 who know's what love, peace, and joy is because without you even knowing it we here were the ones suffering the horrid abuse that was being done to all of us regardless what color anyone was. There are a lot of good people of the black race and they too were suffering and still are as they are being murdered every single day & night by their own race. We seen a young officer who had to stop that drugged addicted thug who just robbed another store and shoved this owner 1/2 his size and would have killed him if he tried to defend himself. He was trying to take the officers gun from him and without a doubt was going to kill him. He had a record a mile long and you are the only one of the 4 who cared and couldn't do anything else but speak from your heart. All of us here and in Missouri have backed you for being brave enough to let God lead the words you needed to say to draw attention to this horror. They sure didn't care and still don't. Then they tried to ruin and abuse you and caused you and your family a lot of harm and heartache. But, you are 100% better then they are because you have a heart and are not a show off. Yes, I still love them but it only serves them well for not sounding 1/2 as good as they did with you being there. But sweetheart just look what God had in store for you. With all of us praying for you and loving you and your family you have won and respected more than they will ever be because they do not know how they are going to have to answer to God for not forgiving you and thinking they are better than you. So here we are. Getting ready to to be allowed to take this wonderful new journey with you. We are all so excited and it is wonderful. You understand people and love them without a doubt but they don't. I am sorry if this hurts you but I needed to get this off my chest. Young man, you are so loved more than you will ever know and we all know you love us too. So honey you hang on for this wonderful adventure that is going to get you to the top.
