Here's something a little different! I'm by no means a classical guitarist, but this is a song I was certain I wanted to include in this series of arrangements, so here's my (slightly shortened) rendition of the first movement! I really enjoyed working on this one, hope you guys enjoy it too :)

^^ can tell clearly u are definitely not a classical guitarist. but still it is a good play.

No i think there is nothing wrong with ur techniques. Finger placing are the way u hold are like a classical guitarist.
It is just that the way the song is being expressed n the emphasis on main beats is definitely different from how a classical guitarist would do it.
Other than that, ur skills is worth dying for.

Moonlight Sonata was my favorite piece to listen to when I studied for my exams. Calm, relaxing, beautiful. Nice arrangement, I guess it was pretty challenging to arrange this - as simple as it sounds, I don't think it's the simplest song for fingerstyle. Great job! :)

Hi James. Just happened upon your channel. Oh my gosh, what wonderful gifts you have. Your obvious and incredible talent , certainly, but also to have something that you love so much and that brings you such joy. You could never have achieved this level of skill, were it not so. God has been good to you and you have responded with hard work and dedication, which now brings your joy to the rest of us. Not a lot of people can say that. I wish you all happiness - thanks for sharing!

For sure! I used to listen to it a lot while studying music at college, but now I'm really getting back into it. I particularly like a lot Debussy's music, and a big goal of mine is to nail an arrangement of Passepied. There's one great guitar version I've seen on UA-cam, very challenging! But my favourite version is actually by a modern bluegrass band called Punch Brothers which I highly recommend checking out. Thanks!

I had problems for a while doing that kind of thing on the guitar. I found it surprising how much easier it became though when I had the guitar resting on my left leg (which was raised off the ground) so the guitar was at an angle. With your arm at the higher angle, your wrist is positioned to allow big stretches.
