I have been diagnosis of gastroparesis. After 1 hour and 30 mins, only 11% of my food was digested so I was told that I have extreme delay stomach emptying. I also hardly vomit. I get bloated, loss of appetite, and nauseous. For the last two weeks I have been tracking my food making sure my fats are lower and I am in the progress of slowly losing weight (on propose) I am eating between 1600-1700 calories. I also been eating 5-6 small meals a day.
This sounds exactly like what I've been putting up with for the last 9 months. I've been going to the ER almost every week for the last 9 months with nausea and vomiting. I'll wake up and throw up anything I ate the day before. I'm actually sitting here right now having an emptying study done which is how I found this video.
Im getting ready to have the gastric emptying study tomorrow but so far ive found out i have gerd and my pancreas is dying so i will find out what else is going on thanks for letting me know what im getting ready to get done
I am getting a gastric emptying scan next month & feeling sick as you speak girl. So I am praying if I have gastroparesis, we get to the bottom of it! Awe congrats for your weight gain girl! I am 5'5 and like ranging from 90 ish lbs. So I took colonoscopy, endoscopy, pill test and now this then endoscopic ultrasound and hydrogen breath test. Lord have mercy. Wish me luck that we get to the bottom of it. I also have celiac disease and something wrong with my pancreas. I agree with Zofran also. Yes girl severe malnutrition is really scary!!
Hey Hadley! Thank you for making this video! I am suffering from these symptoms and its very encouraging that there maybe a treatment! I am watching this in 2022! Did you have to change your diet significantly and if you did what foods were good and which ones exacerbated your symptoms? Thank you again for these videos and for sharing!

My question to you is: you mentioned "mass cell" or "mast cell" ? I tried to look that up and only found cancer subjects ..... could you explain what that is?

I'm also diabetic and I know for damned sure I've had gastroperesis before while I'm in a diabetic crisis (DKA)

Hello! I think I was taking azithromycin once a day. I haven't been taking it recently but you should defiantly ask your doctor about other options!
