Thank you so much for the shout out and your sweet review! I'm plugging away at the next one! (Although it's been a little tough with the new baby!) But its coming along, and I can't wait to release it! 😄
I definitely say to take your time with Gulag Archipelago. I read that one over several months and then read volume 2 over several months. I still have to read volume 3 and I'm hoping to do that by the end of the year.
@@AlmasBookJourney of book one or two? I’m curious if it’s in book one what it was. There were a couple of things I didn’t like but still thought it was great. My book is all tabbed up!
Our reading tastes are so similar. Don’t ever feel bad about feeling different than the majority about a book. Happens to me all the time. As a matter of fact, i don’t read reviews, just the synopsis. I’ve had opposite opinions of friends on Booktube. That’s ok. Reading likes is an individual thing. Loved this video. I hope at some point you would start doing reading sprints. You would be awesome and I would participate.
Thank you, Susan for saying that. I did feel like I was abnormal for not liking this book. I have never thought of doing reading sprints. I would have to figure out the technology of doing something like that. I do enjoy participating in others reading sprints.
My favorite book of the year has been, “Manhood: The Masculine Virtues America Needs” by Senator Josh Hawley and my least favorite book was “Fire By Night” by Lynn Austin.
@@AlmasBookJourney my daughter and I both enjoyed A Beautiful Disguise and she has read and loved the second one. I really liked the first one in the Culper Spy Ring series and my daughter has read the rest in that along with the novellas and it’s one of her very favorite series.

I couldn't remember were you planning on 3?
@@AlmasBookJourney 4 plus a prequel of Princess Fairyn's story! 😄
@@kristiacole That is amazing!!!
@@AlmasBookJourney 😄
Ahh, Salt to the Sea is one of my favorite books. I love it.
I know I loved it!!
I enjoyed Heart of Red Blood of Blue!
Do you know if there are any more books coming????
@@AlmasBookJourney I don't!
Oh I loved Caravel! The whole series really! It was so good! 😄
I was really surprised with how much I loved it.
I have read so many good sequels this year, it's gonna be hard to pick just one.
You are the queen of reading series!!!! Oh my goodness it takes me forever to read a series through.
Ariadre is so good!
I know she did such a good job for her first novel!!!
I definitely say to take your time with Gulag Archipelago. I read that one over several months and then read volume 2 over several months. I still have to read volume 3 and I'm hoping to do that by the end of the year.
I am determined to finish it!!
Mistborn! Vin was a great character. I’m just going to start book two but my Final Empire vlog will be coming out this week!
Oh great I can't wait to watch it!! There was something I didn't like at the end.

My favorite was also The Frozen River. A close second was Divine Rivals
Divine Rivals was one of my top favorites last year. I loved that story with a mix of historical and fantasy so good.
I loved the Timeless series and Of Love and Treason, Biblical fiction. Jamie Ogle’s debut novel, quite impressive.
The Timeless series has been so fun to read.
The Frozen River was also my favorite books so far!
Yeah, Nancy!! I hope to read more of her books. Have you read any others of hers?
Heart of Red, Blood of Blue ❤ I totally would want to see a sequel as well!
That was such a good book.
I'm really looking forward to reading The Frozen River!! I think I'm going to save it for the winter. Caraval is so fun! Loved hearing your answers.
Yes reading the Frozen River in the winter is perfect. I read it in January. Thank you for watching!
Recorder is great!
I am really looking forward to starting that next month.
Great answers Alma! Ooo I’ve been hearing a lot about Brandon Sanderson. Some
Of his books look intimidating.
Yes, he has some really big books. I started with Mistborn because I heard it wasn't as high fantasy. I'd also like to try his YA fantasy.
I didn't like The Nature of a Lady either. You're not alone!
That makes me feel better thank you!
I used the third book in the timeless series for one of my favorites. But it didn’t occur to me to mention the next one for anticipated release!
I really enjoyed the third book, but I have a feeling the next book will be really great!
My favorite book of the year has been, “Manhood: The Masculine Virtues America Needs” by Senator Josh Hawley and my least favorite book was “Fire By Night” by Lynn Austin.
Ann, that book by Josh Hawley sounds good. I think I have that Lynn Austin book on my shelf. I haven't read it yet though.
How did I forget the frozen river when I did this tag??
Such a great book
Nature of a Lady has been my least favorite Roseanna M White book
I'll have to try another one of her books. Maybe a different time period. Any others that you enjoyed more?
