Definitely one of the best South Park reactors, love how you get all the references, and interact with your audience as well! And even point out some references I let slip by (McKenzie Phillips 😅). Always a pleasure seeing a reaction from you, great as always !
First of all, your YT hand is skeletor...so that''s already awesom! Second, thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. The pleasure is all mine! 🙏
He’s the only one I’ve enjoyed. He’s intelligent and gets all the references and doesn’t try and make jokes non stop like other reactors. It gets annoying lol
so when triple h had his quad injury that day in 2001, my paramedic mother was in the audience. when the actual injury occurred, she was watching the tron and actually saw the muscle roll up into his pelvis and she immediately knew what it was. she called the arena directly and told them he was hurt, their response was "no ma'am, what he's doing is called 'selling', he's not re-" and then she yelled that she knew and to get an ambulance down there immediately, and he was REALLY hurt. they didn't have any medical staff on duty that night, so she was urged backstage to help, and after he came out of the curtain the first thing he said to her was "oh hi, my name is paul" before she helped him until the rig arrived. i miss that woman. still have that backstage pass, somewhere.
I laughed so hard when they released that episode. We always joked about it sounding closer and closer to a rooster, and then finally they actually did it lmao
The balloon thing was a real at the time, 2009 a couple said their kid was trapped in a hot air balloon, once the balloon came down a couples days later, they found the kid wasn’t in the balloon but hiding in a shed the entire time
“Get back in the trash can where you belong!” 😳 I literally died when that was said. ⚰️ The soap opera they emphasized on was over the top epic. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
the best part about it slowly turning into this classy theater production complete with singing is Trey Parker and Matt Stone were originally training to become musical writers until South Park stole their focus. They have since written a South Park musical movie and a stage production called The Book of Mormon
I'd definitely recommend watching Hell on Earth 2006. It's an awesome Halloween episode where Satan throws a Halloween party and it's one of my all time favorite episodes.
WWF was the greatest back in the Attitude Era! Starting with DX, then Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock! Undertaker and his Ministry of Darkness! That was all so awesome!
The balloon boy hoax thing in the paper was a real-world event the show was referencing. It happened in Colorado a week before the episode aired and caused a bit of a stir in the media.
Love this episode, 100% accurate depiction of my childhood. All my friends signed up for wrestling after watching WWF/WCW. After 1 day of practice 25 kids quit once they found out it wasn't WWF. I was only one didn't get memo and went back. I was too embarrassed to tell my parents I wanted to quit after I begged them to let me wrestle. I didn't quit until freshman year of high school 5 years later. My favorite wrestlers were Sting, Kane and Rey Mysterio. I always liked the wrestlers that wore masks or face paint.
Always hilarious whenever they do a scene with all the boys sitting at a table of a restaurant and everyone has food or a shake while Kenny only has at bare minimum a glass of water or nothing at all 😂
Hilarious episode, always love the "took my job" bit whenever it's used. Three favorites were 1. Jake "the Snake" Roberts, 2. Ultimate Warrior 3. the tag-team Demolition.
Wrestling was popular when I was a kid but it was never my thing, I thought it was stupid, growing up and finding out what goes on behind the scenes I have a deep respect for it, it's still not my cup of tea but I got to hand it to the people that have to act on improv in front of a live audience and do stunts all in front of a live audience. It's pretty impressive.
I love the progression of how the whole thing gets more theatrical. Dressing room, "2nd Act", Tolkien's hair in curlers, Playbill, box seats for McMahon, chimes and flashing the "house lights" to end the intermission, etc, etc. Brilliant.
Seeing you enjoy South Park like this has been a pleasure! I’m definitely subbed ❤❤❤ I would recommend the F. Word as well because it’s personally my favorite episode of all time because of the overall message. Keep it up bro 🎉

The Steiner Bros. and the Road Warriors were awesome! These days Scott Steiner has the funniest shoot interviews lol! His rant about the WWE Hall of Fame is both savage and hilarious! 😂
Flair, Piper and Jake the Snake were my whole childhood. Favorite Managers were The Million Dollar Man, Mr. Fuji and Captain Lou Albano with all those rubber bands!
Hey Dash, love the reactions to one of my favorite shows. One episode I would definitely recommend that you haven’t seen yet is Medicinal Fried Chicken, anyways keep up the good work man
It doesn’t matter how many time I see this episode, dude breaking into song during the tryouts is one of those moments that ALWAYS gets me lmaoo he just goes from talking about his past, and out of nowhere music comes on and he sings “all my life, all I ever wanted was to be a wrestler” and he sings like it’s a musical it’s so good
Mankind is the best. Hands down. That cage match… 😮 Legitimately can’t believe he stood up from that slam from atop the cages to the mat. Also the Hardy Boys. 90s ridiculousness at its finest.
Love this episode, reminds me how in pro wrestling the Sports Entertainment is often more important than the actual wrestling. 3 wrestlers who made me love wrestling were John Cena, Jeff Hardy, and Rey Mysterio. I started watching around 2006. I’m still a fan today.
Those two headlines at 9:38 were taken from a real world scandal that happened around the time this episode was made. Basically, two parents released a black saucer shaped balloon and claimed their son was inside it. The national guard and local police pursued the balloon as it reached a height of 7000 feet. When the balloon descended and the boy wasn't found, they searched the home and found that the boy had been in the attic the whole time.
They actually serve full bottles of wine at local wrestling events here. Undertaker and Bret Hart are the best wrestlers for me. I love your South Park reactions!
Grew up with WWE this episode is so funny to me and became one of my top 10 because its one massive in-joke about things i heard growing up with wrestling it's "soap opera for men" and "it caters to those who don't know difference" maybe you can check out season 12 episode 6 Over Logging a Randy focus episode maybe you like it.
You nailed it! That’s the best four-word explanation for pro wrestling I’ve ever heard. - A “soap opera for men.” Love that! Thanks for the recommendation 🙏
I was 12 years old in '99 and it was so amazing just flipping back and forth between WWF and WCW, I kind of grew out of it but those were great days, begging mom to order us PPVs.
“They took our jobs” is a running gag in South Park‼ Bret the hitman hart, owen hart and Macho Man randy savage I grew up watching wwe (now it sucks) I watch aew (all elite wrestling) now.
I was never big into wrestling.. but when I was in middle school one of my best friends was in a wheelchair with brittle bone disease.. he loved wrestling.. I would go to his house and play with his figures with him. We watched WWF in the attitude era. My first favorite was Kane and undertaker, and he loved stone cold. RIP buddy

Got into wrestling because of Kane and to this day he's one of my favorites. If I had to name a top 3 it'd have to be, in no particular order, HHH, Kane and Eddie Guerrero
I’m 27 now, by the time I was old enough to start watching wrestling (early 2000s), it had already dramatically fell off. Luckily there was a video store that had a wrestling section with all kinds of stuff from the 70s/80s territory days, and the mid-to-late 90s Monday night wars/attitude era. I remember being like 9-10 yrs old and realizing how much better the older stuff was than the current day product. My aunt took me to a small house show and I got to meet Bill Dundee, I remember I was like the only kid excited to see him and wondering why nobody else really cared. Took awhile to realize it was because he was 20 years past his glory days lol I just love the business and hearing guys tell stories from the road back then. Idk what my original point was supposed to be, sorry for the rambling lol good reaction
Explain why the people who are submission experts dominate all the other so-called fighters then? The whole spectacular fighting is so hilarious and entertaining because it is completely not realistic as irl situation, getting rid of your opponent the quickest way possible is the only reasonable thing to do.
Wrestling fan and recent subscriber from Brazil here! About 2:30, I watch AEW and NJPW the most but I love getting into older stuff WCW, territories era and I watched a good part of the Attitude Era. I love deathmatches and the indies as well, I always give a watch from time to time on GCW, Freedoms, FMW-E, BJW. Great to know we agree that Flair is the GOAT, been enjoying your videos for a few days now with the South Park reacts! One of my favorite episodes is Cow Days, I love when South Park goes full absurdity and that episode is a gold mine of it lol
I still remember watching a tiny bit of wrestling with my big brother when a lady from the audience jumped into the ring to "help" one of the lady fighters only for security to carry her out over his shoulder XD while she was yelling "I want to help you! I want to help you!!" XD it was the weirdest thing my 12-year old brain ever saw and at 29 im surprised i havent forgotten that event! XD
I'm old enough I remember Bulldog Bob Brown. He had a long career in theatrical wrestling. That is what I call the WWE and all that stuff, theatrical wrestling.
Congrats on the growth your channels had lately bro! Binged all your south park content this last month or so. Views n likes are up big time from when I first started watching, that has to feel good. You'll be hitting 10k subs in no time. Always enjoy a new upload :)
WWF: Ultimate Warrior, Bret Hart, and Undertaker! I could strongly relate to this episode. As a kid, I often watched WWF on Saturdays and it was a custom to talk about the episode with classmates on Monday morning. So when I checked my encyclopedia for the wrestling entry, I saw those wrestling suits and I was very confused. :))
Idk if it's just me but I always enjoy looking in the crowds on South Park to see characters they use in the past like if u pause at 7:16 you see the biker from "F word" episode on far right 😂
I had to scroll down pretty far to find someone with names I grew up with. I grew up in New Orleans and the wrestling we watched in the early 80s was Mid-South Wrestling. Junk Yard Dog was the most popular wrestler down here for years. Jake the Snake started in Mid-South back in the late 70s b/c his father, Grizzly Smith, ran it. Hacksaw Duggan also wrestled down here for years.
John Cena is proof that just bc you're a professional wrestler first doesn't mean you aren't a good actor just look at him in his role as Peacemaker for the series Peacemaker or the DC movie he's in as Peacemaker
I don't follow pro wrestling at all, however when i was on active duty I was given tickets to Raw is War. Seeing this live was absolutely insane! I had the best time.
I actually started crying from laughter at the wrestling coach wrestling the security guard then the dudes like "oh woahhh what the shit is this!?" lmao
This is one of my favorite episodes. I saw all the wrestling shows from WWF, WCW, WWE, AEW, TNA. The South Park boys start their wrestling and they were putting more of a show than wrestling fights. The Wrestling Couch was living in a town full of idiots that don't know what real wrestling is. At least, Vince McMahon hired him for a better career. LOL They took his job!
The thing I love about this episode is that I literally went to a wrestling "try out" thing in school. Even my dad said "it's not like tv" haha. I knew that, but also thought and hoped maybe it was kinda like tv. Nope it was pretty gay as hell and gave me some questions about my sexuality. edit: Also spot on about wrestlers messing you up. The state champion was from my town and every now and again would completely kick people's asses lol
Shawn Michaels vs Brett Hart was the greatest. My grandma was so into it that it was the first time I ever saw her jump, when Shawn Michaels landed the sweet chin music.
1. The Undertaker 2. Macho Man 3. Chris Jericho, who is still wrestling to this day lol Tolkien is actually dressed up as R-Truth, just a side note lol
ayy i made it in the recommendations. There's an error I noticed the first time watching this back when South Park was on Netflix. Kenny (el pollo loco) dies in this episode but then after that at the end when the kids are arguing you can keep hearing cartman as if he's arguing with Kenny
I always love your reactions and now, I'm kinda jealous of the wrestling match you saw live. Arguably the two best teams in history having the greatest matches. My experience with wrestling live is awkward to say the least: Survivor Series 1997, Hogan's return #1, Hogan's return #2, Bret Hart's return, etc. I can say that I witnessed Andre the Giant sitting down in the ring with 3 guys between his legs, doing a lifting-leg-scissor and smashed all their asses simultaneously to the mat.
This is another favorite of mine lol. Been a wrestling fan since about 90' so this one hit home. Greatest wrestler of all time..the undertaker. 30 years..he's beaten them all from hulk Hogan, ric flair, ultimate warrior, all the way to stone cold and the rock. So I'd say undertaker, flair, and Shawn Michaels. First ppv I ever watched live was WrestleMania 6..man time flies. Favorite face paint has to be warrior. Coming up I watched both WWF and WCW..then VHS tapes of WCW started to circulate around 95' and my friends older brother showed us some. Good times.
Went to a WWF Raw show at MSG in 2001-02. Also to WWF NY when it was in Times Square. Honestly can't remember who I got to meet there, but I still have 4 tall glasses that say WF Times Square.
Been watching your reactions for a little bit, I really like you know the reference and the episode is not super cut at all. Your also funny to watch you react to these episodes as well. Also I’m now subscribed 😁

I haven't watched WWE stuff since I was maybe fifteen, so all my wrestler name drops come from that era :D But back when I was still watching Raw and Smackdown, two wrestlers I really enjoyed watching were Mick Foley and Booker T. Oh, and shoutout to the ring announcer/interviewer Mean Gene Okerlund (rip)
You asked for wrestlers that are faves, and it's hard to narrow it down, but these are a few: Kurt Angle, The Rock, Edge, Christian, Booker T, The Hurricane/Gregory Helms, Hardy Boyz, The Dudleys/Team 3D.... Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan... I think that's a fair list, there's some newer people I enjoy too, but these are the people I grew up on.
This episode is great. I am a WWE fan, and before that, which WWE was the WWF, and the Attitude era. Stone Cold Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, Rowdy Roddy Piper, and Triple H and HBK were great along with Kane and the Undertaker.
A pity They're poor retirement policies, the way they get discarded like trash by they're gm's is complete bullshit, IDK if they have Union's or not but they need to get that shit sorted
old school (1970s) Georgia Championship Wrestling with announcer Gordon Solie -- the stars were Wildfire Tommy Rich, Mr Wrestling II, Tony Atlas, The Mongolian Stomper, The Junkyard Dog, The Anderson Brothers, The Fabulous Freebirds, Abdullah the Butcher, Stan Hansen, Ernie Ladd -- oh man -- I watched way too much wrestling back then
Being from Atlanta, this lights me up! Oddly enough, my Dad randomly ran into Tommy Rich at a gas station and got his autograph. He's a wrester before my time, I know...but I know he's a wrestling legend! The Anderson Brothers? Is that Ole and Arn Anderson? They wrestled into the 90's too, right? RESPECT! Your comment is gold!
@@dash.reacts yes, that is Ole and Arn -- but this was way before the 4 Horseman -- wow, I forgot what they were called and had to google their old name -- it was "The Minnesota Wrecking Crew" -- there were 4 of them : Lars, Gene, Ole and Arn -- and none of them were actually brothers LOL
"He don't run from fights just from responsibilities." gets me to die laughing every time!!!

Notice at the restaurant, everyone has a drink except for Kenny… who has water 🤣
For real the Warrior the dude couldn’t work to save his life
You should react to 12x10 and 12x11. They are the best multi part episodes imo, because of my boy Randy Marsh. The OG Pandemic special.
Idk if it's just me but I always enjoy looking in the crowds on South Park to see characters they use in the past like if u pause at 7:16 you see the biker from "F word" episode on far right 😂
1) “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan. 2) Jake “The Snake” Roberts. 3) Jimmy “Superfly” Snooka. Loved the reaction. Looking forward to the next one 😁
I think you should watch Goobacks(season 8, episode 7) next. It will explain the "took our jobs" part, and is a great episode regardless.
Loving the vibe and intelligent insight into the episodes! Also love south park! Keep it up man!!😎🤘
wow That must have been one Hell of a Tag Match.
Those two Teams would probably just beat the stuffing out of each other.
LOL
They took his job!
My grandma was so into it that it was the first time I ever saw her jump, when Shawn Michaels landed the sweet chin music.
steiners and road warriors live at that time as a kid had to be so awesome! i saw hulk hogan vs earthquake when i was like 7 and i'll never forget it
i’m glad i finally made the decision to subscribe! love your videos man, keep it up! almost to 10k subs!!! that’s nuts!
Thanks, Nino!! 🙏
1. The Undertaker
2. Macho Man
3. Chris Jericho, who is still wrestling to this day lol
Tolkien is actually dressed up as R-Truth, just a side note lol
ayy i made it in the recommendations.
I watched the WWF in the late 90s early 00's, the Undertaker v Mankind cage match is legendary
I started watching in 2003, just flipping channels and it was Chris Jericho's highlight reel. Probably my all time favorite. Edge too, loved edge.
I remember going to see Stampede Wrestling when I was a kid. The only name I remember was The Cuban Assassin.
I was hoping you would watch this soon. You also need to watch Butter Balls. Trust me that'll be your new favorite song. Please please watch it. 🤣
Thanks for the recommendation!!!
Good times.
My favorite WWF match of all time is Doink and 3 little Doinks vs The King and 3 little The Kings; truly epic.
Legion of Doom was my favorite tag team. You showed them as THE Road Warriors.
We had the British Wrestling Federation … with Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks back when I was a kid 😂😂
Monday Tuesday we were cool
Wednesday I found about you
Caught my heart by tellin' lies
You weren't what you advertised
But silly me to believe
Oh oh oh was unique
When I'm there you put on a show
Oh oh oh you gotta go
The what's true about you
Who are you when I'm gone
Wanted to be with you
Don't know what I was on
Can't you get me to forget me
Oh oh oh you know that's true
Yeah you get me to forget me
So Friday I'll be over U
No no I ain't gonna cry
Go and be with her tonight
I really don't care what to do
'Cause Friday I'll be over U
And silly me to believe
Oh oh oh was unique
When I'm there you put on a show
Oh oh oh you gotta go
The what's true about you
Who are you when I'm gone
Wanted to be with you
Don't know what I was on
Can't you get me to forget me
Oh oh oh you know that's true
Yeah you get me to forget me
So Friday I'll be over U
Silly me to believe
When I'm there you put on a show
Oh oh oh you know that's true
Can't you get me to forget me (wha'ho)
Yeah you get me to forget me
So Friday I'll be over U
The what's true about you (about you)
Who are you when I'm gone
Wanted to be with you
Don't know what I was on
Can't you get me (can't you get me)
to forget me (to forget me)
oh oh oh you know that's true
Yeah you get me to forget me
So Friday I'll be over U
One of the best things I've ever seen was that commercial where Sting beats up that little kid.
Bruno Sammartino, Rick Flair, Undertaker (Stone Cold, The Rock, Rpwdy Roddy Piper), There was a Wrestler named Stan The Man Stasiak.
The wine glass thing is a call back from a previous episode.
You asked for wrestlers that are faves, and it's hard to narrow it down, but these are a few:
Kurt Angle, The Rock, Edge, Christian, Booker T, The Hurricane/Gregory Helms, Hardy Boyz, The Dudleys/Team 3D.... Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan...
I think that's a fair list, there's some newer people I enjoy too, but these are the people I grew up on.
Whenever I see him upload a video it brightens my day! Glad to see you post man!
That really means a lot! Thank you 🙏
“The Road Warriors??“
Aint that “Legion of Doom?“
Maybe LoD is a previous generationd and im just too old….😩😭
Nope you’re not too old! You’re right!
I think the LoD is their official name. I always thought people referred to them by either name.
This episode is great. I am a WWE fan, and before that, which WWE was the WWF, and the Attitude era. Stone Cold Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, Rowdy Roddy Piper, and Triple H and HBK were great along with Kane and the Undertaker.
#1 Under taker
#2 Rey Mysterio
#3 The Rock
10:43 the shock and disgust on your face that then quickly evolved into unhinged laughter was great 😂
the undertaker, sting, ray mysterio(not sure I spelled that correctly)
Pro Wrestling is a very respectable art form, people give literal blood, sweat and tears to their performances.
"very respectable art form" yeea, about that...
A pity They're poor retirement policies, the way they get discarded like trash by they're gm's is complete bullshit, IDK if they have Union's or not but they need to get that shit sorted
😆 no it isn't. Wrasslin is a total joke....
and?
@@leflopjames5628it is a total joke now but it used to be respectable and highly popular entertainment lol
old school (1970s) Georgia Championship Wrestling with announcer Gordon Solie -- the stars were Wildfire Tommy Rich, Mr Wrestling II, Tony Atlas, The Mongolian Stomper, The Junkyard Dog, The Anderson Brothers, The Fabulous Freebirds, Abdullah the Butcher, Stan Hansen, Ernie Ladd -- oh man -- I watched way too much wrestling back then
Being from Atlanta, this lights me up!
To get that They took your job reference you need to check Episode 7 from Season 8 which is also great episode :D
