best demo I've seen of this pedal, great job! Can't wait for mine to come in this week, been thirsting for a new delay. I've been using a carbon copy for far too long
8:05 so can you turn trails off? Cause if you can't that's a dealbreaker for me. Also a maximum of 1 second delay is kind of on the short side for me. Sometimes you just want to do some freakier stuff that requires longer delay times. Too bad cause the rest looks and sounds promising.
You’re not kidding! That distortion with tape echo sounded killer. What distortion pedal were you using? This is a maybe. Like you I have so many delay pedals!! But I’m a huge EQD fan. Thanks for the demo!
I'm returning mine. I've owned an EP-3 and several analogs. Analog and Tape modes are just really Plain-Jane. Great company and some people will love this pedal but my experience with tape and analog is much more colorful. A shame; I love the control layout, and then quality is top notch.
Plain-Jain kind of seems what this pedal is supposed to be. Can you elaborate on what you were expecting versus what you experienced? I am asking because I am interested in a plain Jane delay that does digital, analog, and tape style delay and has presets. This really seems to fit the bill. The only feature I wish it had is a tone control so I could brighten or darken the repeats to taste, but they seem to be dialed in decently
@@sawdustcrypto3987 What I mean is, actual tape and analog had unintended pitch warble, normally very subtle, that caused a sort of chorusing, just enough to add richness and size to the sound. To me that's the point of imitating it with digital. For you, there are digital ones that have tone controls if you look around. This is a great pedal, not for me, you can always return it. You may also consider the Boss DD-8. That's a GREAT pedal too.
@@deanallen927 I hadn't really considered the DD-8 before, I will definitely check it out. I've kind of become blind to boss pedals over the years which I acknowledge is stupid
@@deanallen927 I will definitely check out the DD-8. I've kind of become blind to boss pedals over the years for some reason which I acknowlege is stupid. Also from your comment I think I might still give the Silos a shot-- I more often complain that modulation is too heavy handed on modern delay pedals. I think maybe I just WANT boring lol. I think this pedal would be absolutely perfect if they replaced the presets knob with a tone knob and had three selectable presets toggled by hitting both foot switches at the same time, the way that some Walrus pedals do it. Then I wouldn't have to bend down to switch presets (i'm old lol). Thanks for answering my question!
I have the timeline, with all that ambient stuff, shimmers, tremolos, filters, a great peral.....but this one is a great D E L A Y with the simplicity of presetting 6 JUSTDELAYS in a simple way.

Thank you
Great demo
Nice take on this pedal! Great demo. Thanks for the information!
Thank you
I use this one on my bass board killer easy to dial in many different delays. For some reason all the EQD pedals sound awesome on bass vs. Guitar.
great demo
Awesome demo, man
Thank you

I haven’t found a way to completely kill trails on it. You can shorten the repeats but it doesn’t seem to have full trail kill

Thank you so much. The distortion was the 1991 by Funny Little Boxes. It’s a great one.
Hi , can you create a Dotted 8th Note Delay Effect with the tap tempo?
Dustin? 🤔 Who’s that? Hi Aria 😆
Hahaha. She says hi!!

If you have the Strymon Timeline you have all that you need. Don't waist time with those "one preset" shit.
