Hey great question. The SLR Magic APO HyperPrime-CINE are the larger cine-style versions. Glad it was helpful! I found the focus throw to be more than enough for me in all ways. If it was longer I would be forced to use a motorized focusing system which is not my favorite thing to use. So this is a great middle ground.
@@TristanBarrocks This is besides the image quality the main reason why I pushed the buy button on these lenses; a focus throw not that short as at most photo lenses and not too long for manual focussing. Thanks for the great and funny review!

I'm a newbie. I have an 18-135, 70-300, and a 50 1.8 for my Canon 90d and 70d. I shoot the kids playing sports but want to make rap videos. Cine lens the way to go?
Yes and no. If you plan on using dark contrast serious, get these, if you plan on shooting in broad daylight, use what you got. Learn to manipulate the camera before you invest in precision equipment like these lenses unless you wish to just go head first and focus on the technology.

Yes from what I understand it is because it reduces fringing and colour separation.

These are rather good. I love the look and feel they have with the Zcam or Pocket 6K
