Sooooo, how many drops though? I like the LE skin tint quite a lot too. It is a beautiful finish (I'm so done with tin can man everything!) But the two drops business seems like utter nonsense. I have great skin and can't get away with less than 4 and at that rate, this will be gone in a month. I can't afford a monthly foundation bill 😂. I also find the plastic white packaging cheap feeling and difficult to manage because it will drip if the lid isn't screwed back on immediately without a way to stand it up. Plus the white always needs cleaning after use and I'm lazy. I'm not sorry I bought it but it's far from a slam dunk for me or an elevated experience.

After watching probably hours of your comparisons, I finally bought the Tower 28 concealer on your recommendation, and WOW, it's perfect for me. It's lightweight, has that self-setting quality you described, a gorgeous finish, wonderful wear time, AND it doesn't make my skin feel itchy or clogged!
It really is lovely, after a few uses it gives me tiny red dots on the skin. I believe it is the hyaluronic acid I am sensitive to, I wish they could reformulate but they probably never will 😂 considering how popular it is.
Well…lisa knowing skin tones. Does she though? Because non of the fairest tones look good for me. My skin is just like Hannah‘s: very fair and desaturated. Also lisas foundation colours don’t work either -.-
Did you try her foundation in 2.5? I’m a skin twin with Hannah (the rms in 000 is perfect on me) and it works so well for me.. I just bought the skin tint in t2 and it works too.. not as perfectly as the foundation, but when you powder it, blush etc, it works! But obvs it probably doesn’t work for everyone.. but the 2.5 release was later than the other shades, as we pale olives kept pestering Lisa for a pale olive, so she released one and it definitely works for me, but obviously try before you buy etc and I just wanted to mention 2.5 as I struggled until that was recently released 🥰 but everyone is different!
She did olive for fair skin which is really a first. I’m pale with blue eyes, no brand got my shade right. She launch my exact shade so I stick to her foundation ever since.
Moving back home was the best decision we made. I don’t regret moving away bc it afforded us opportunities we never had otherwise….. my only regret was not moving back to our community sooner!
I bought the t5 shade which is the fairest olive and it’s sooo beautiful. As an oily skinned person I really thought I’d hate it because I tend to need more coverage but I love it. I just wish there was a fairer olive shade but hopefully one will come in the next round!
i was hoping for an olive as well but the T2 works great for me. i chatted them on IG because the model for T2 looked so fair and the person that wore the 2.5 foundation was actually tanner this time and went for T4.
You would be the perfect "tester" for the Lisa Eldridge eyeliner. She said she designed it for very easy application, even for beginners or people that have had problems with eyeliner in the past. I am wondering if that is true because I am horrible at liquid eyeliner. Thanks, Kackie! ❤
Omg! I was thinking the same thing. I was like hmmm I thought I remembered her (Lisa Eldrigde) mentioning that in some promotional material that the eyeliner was supposed to help people that aren’t pros . So I was hoping Kackie was going to give the liquid eyeliner a go, considering she usually never wears it.. maybe in a different tutorial she’ll give it a try just for us for funsies haha 🙏🧚🏻♀️💕💞💓👍 we can hope .

I'm so sad about this release. I just don't think there's a color fair enough for me, and neither of the two fair undertones matches mine. It seems so nice though.
It's been almost 3 and a half years since I lost the love of my life. I'm an only child and was living 6 hours away from my parents and the lockdown was still happening. After a year, they told me I needed to come home because they didn't want two ghosts in my house. It was really hard, but it was the right choice.
Having recently moved away from NOLA, I’m really missing it this time of year! It’s still cold here in my new home town, and NOLA in March/April is the best. Eat a snowball for me girl!

I can not imagine having to shovel out my driveway & all the other snow and freeze prep . While I am completely fine with dealing with 3 seasons in 1 day , mosquitoes & 98% humidity. Yes! on the Haus foundations! I tried all of the fair shades (I'm fair neutral typically) and they just look like crayon colors on me. I can't explain it. I was so disappointed.

Be careful with the Dynessa myricks if your acne prone. I don’t tend to breakout really ever but the DM skin tint makes me breakout every time. It’s a lovely finish and wears well but the only shade that matches me is 4 and it’s super yellow which I don’t like despite being fair with a warm/ golden undertone and I can only wear it one day - if I attempt a second day it’s breakout city.
I may be totally on the fence about a product, but as soon as I see YOU put it on, I'm like yes yes I do need it hahaha. Beautiful tint, you convinced me. Im getting it
Was waiting on this one, thank yew, super excited to try shade T5. Vachetta from merit bums me out so much, it’s gorgeous when i first apply it but after a few hours it turns straight up GREY on me
I’ve had the opposite experience in life, I moved back to the PNW in 2019 after being away for a decade and other than being with my bestie again I am so much less happy and can’t wait to get away again. But my chosen family and support network like you described is mostly on the east coast. It really shows how important community and support is to happiness.

Please swatch that Gucci cushion foundation on camera. The person you are describing who has never been touched by the sun is me. I have the palest skin. I have to mix the white Haus Labs foundation with almost everything. I am extremely pale neutral with a hint of pink undertones. I’ve never been able to find a cushion foundation that works well for me on its own.
The Chanel Les beige complex touch I didn’t want to love , and I finally broke and bought it. I freaking love it, my only issue was the site kept recommending the wrong shade.
I love this Seamless Skin Tint, but only apply it with fingers or a brush. Do you not feel you lose some coverage when you use a sponge? It's not inexpensive, so I'd be unhappy if 20 or 30% of it did not make it onto my face.

I loooove Lisa. I was one of the first people to receive & post on Instagram about her lipsticks when she came out with them, and I think I only skipped a couple of releases. Her 2.5 colour in the foundation is like magic - it disappears on my face, no need to blend it. I already have the tint, I just need time to try it 😊 thanks for the inspiration! Maybe I'll bust out my YSL Stora Dolls I bought because of you 😅
I wonder if there are shade for me... My skin is very fair and kind of neutral. Mont Blanc from Nars and shade 2 from luminious silk - Giorgio Armani. I find that your skin is much dark and golden then mine. I was thinking about buying T3, but I think it will be to dark... Anyone have an option to help me? Thank you so much

As someone who lives and dies by Phytosurgence Pewtered Pine, that Shroom shade has alllllllll my attention. And there's no shame in moving back home, especially if that's where your people still are. Despite my mixed feelings about it, I know moving back to my home state 13 years ago was the only good option. And now I'm just far enough from my family to see them regularly and still be on good terms 😅
I got the Eldridge tint in T2 and it is perfect for my extra-light warm skin (MAC NC13; Bobbi Brown Warm Porcelain). Looking at your hand swatch I am convinced that T4 would have been too dark on me. This tint is dang near undetectable on the skin, even though I use retinoids and get some light peeling from that. As you note, it's a true-skin finish, neither shiny nor matte.
Thank you for the review. It's so interesting, Lisa talking about lighter skin tones in foundations because for the life of me I can't find a match in her line. Her lightest shades (apart from shade 1 which is very pink) are just too dark on my fair skin, and none of them are actually neutral. The warm is way too orange yellow and the neutral is very peach. Many companies think neutral equals peach, which is not the case. There are no genuinely neutral, beige shades in Lisa's collection, at least in the fair range (which in and of itself isn't fair but rather fair to light). Also my BF has fair olive skin and LE's olive shade, beside being too dark, is too yellow and not green enough. I've been a fan of Lisa's for years and love her products, so this was a bummer for me. I wonder if the tint will work better in terms of a shade match.
Hear, hear! I am ultra pale & LE's shades don't come close in either depth or undertone: why these 'artist' brands don't recognise that super pale people exist, or produce white mixers for their too-dark products, I don't understand. Beautiful wombat pic, BTW. Best wishes, from wombat land.
@anneonymaus Haus Labs foundation has a mixer shade - not a tint but since such few mixer options exist, thought I would share in case you didn’t know.
100% agree. The afterthought LE foundation shade 2.5 works for me, undertone-wise, but it could stand to be a tiny bit lighter to be perfect. I was so disappointed when she unveiled the shade range for this tint, and there was no pale olive - T2 is the one they suggest for 2.5 matching, and I am significantly fairer than Kackie. I remember when Lisa released her foundation range and she said how hard it was to find a model to wear the lightest shade. She made it sound as though it was because they went so fair that there wasn't anyone pale enough to model it, when I suspect it's because it was peach AF and not human-coloured at all.
I have a different but similar color problem with LE, who I also love and respect. She does not understand or sell true blue-based or cool lip products. They always skew peach toned. I just caved AGAIN and bought her new lip pencil she swore was neutral, gray-based taupe/beige….and it’s warm. Peach toned. SO sad and scares me to buy anything else!
@treasurechest123 I agree about the neutral lip liners; I was surprised when I swatched them in store and they seemed really quite warm to me. The cool toned ones are pretty, but that doesn't solve your problem.
I went through a terrible break up 2 years ago and moved back home and its done so much for my happiness to be near my brother, mom, and dad. I even got very sick and I can't tell you how important it was that they were near to me as I had to go through a very difficult time as I needed them close so so much. Also, I love being able to drive 15 mins and go play squash with my mom, pool with my dad, or visit my brothers and his dog. I also reconnected with old friends super easily, even though I hadn't been the best in contact when I lived away. Also, there was that relief of just feeling like I was being around my people once again! Just sharing my experience, but what you said (extra details are not necessary!) resonated so much with me of 2 years ago and its really turned everything around for me. Also, are you by chance going to review the new phytosurgence eyeshadows? I already pulled the trigger but I would love to know what you think.

So glad you are able to try the Vitalumiere now, it’s legit my HG foundation. I have gone through multiple bottles of it, but it is definitely a bit more matte now that it is just mineral filters. Still my fave foundation. That, the Chanel rouge allure laqué in shade 63 Ultimate (I use it on lips and cheeks) and some mascara/brow gel is my every day put together look.
I tried the Prada foundation five times, and I returned it! It was awful, dry, no matter what primer I used, it was very obvious I was wearing foundation, it was streaky, I used natural hair, synthetic brushes, a sponge and I even tried to use my fingers. Run from this foundation if you are over 45 with combo skin.
Thank you that helped me choose. Just wish there were more olive tones and specifically more fair olive tones in makeup, they tend to (if they offer olive at all) jump straight to light medium.
That bronzer is probably for people like me. I’m Scandinavian and I’m sun sensitive. My skin colour can best be described as Casper the friendly ghost 😂

I moved out of California where I was born and raised almost a year ago for a really big work opportunity in Washington and it’s been really HARD on me 😔 I miss my family and friends so much! I miss our family Sunday dinners, I miss hanging out with my nieces and nephew, I miss knowing where everything is, knowing all the back streets, I miss my favorite restaurants, my parks I would go to every day, my Dojo I went to every day. oh lithium has been on my list for so long, ive not tried an UD e/s in ages. Im wondering if lithium has more green in it vs the diamond dog, may need to search for comparisons. I think i might prefer diamond dog.
@@anneviscardi from what I see on Kackie, Diamond Dog looks much warmer. On me Lithium looks like a dark taupe with silver shimmer particules if it can help *wanted to add, I used it today and now I see why you mention a green-is effect on the eyes with Lithium, I don't see it in the pan but it is there on my lids (maybe my light brown eyes play a role in it). And want to correct what I said, don't want to mislead anyone, there are also finer gold particles on top of the base color and fewer slightly bigger silver ones. But Lithium was not the point in this video, I know
I told my mom the other day (we thankfully only live 15 minutes away from her) that I don’t want to be an adult anymore. 😂 in my defense I found a huge unnoticed roof leak in my spare bathroom so I was a bit overwhelmed. Living in the same area as my nuclear family has been a blessing. Also as a Floridian I just am intolerant to cold so living up north isn’t really an option for me.

It's been almost 3 and a half years since I lost the love of my life. I'm an only child and was living 6 hours away from my parents and the lockdown was still happening. After a year, they told me I needed to come home because they didn't want two ghosts in my house. It was really hard, but it was the right choice.

Yes! on the Haus foundations! I tried all of the fair shades (I'm fair neutral typically) and they just look like crayon colors on me. I can't explain it. I was so disappointed.

Be careful with the Dynessa myricks if your acne prone. I don’t tend to breakout really ever but the DM skin tint makes me breakout every time. It’s a lovely finish and wears well but the only shade that matches me is 4 and it’s super yellow which I don’t like despite being fair with a warm/ golden undertone and I can only wear it one day - if I attempt a second day it’s breakout city.
I may be totally on the fence about a product, but as soon as I see YOU put it on, I'm like yes yes I do need it hahaha. Beautiful tint, you convinced me. Im getting it

I’ve had the opposite experience in life, I moved back to the PNW in 2019 after being away for a decade and other than being with my bestie again I am so much less happy and can’t wait to get away again.
But my chosen family and support network like you described is mostly on the east coast. It really shows how important community and support is to happiness.

Please swatch that Gucci cushion foundation on camera. The person you are describing who has never been touched by the sun is me. I have the palest skin. I have to mix the white Haus Labs foundation with almost everything. I am extremely pale neutral with a hint of pink undertones. I’ve never been able to find a cushion foundation that works well for me on its own.

The Chanel Les beige complex touch I didn’t want to love , and I finally broke and bought it. I freaking love it, my only issue was the site kept recommending the wrong shade.
I love this Seamless Skin Tint, but only apply it with fingers or a brush. Do you not feel you lose some coverage when you use a sponge? It's not inexpensive, so I'd be unhappy if 20 or 30% of it did not make it onto my face.

I loooove Lisa. I was one of the first people to receive & post on Instagram about her lipsticks when she came out with them, and I think I only skipped a couple of releases. Her 2.5 colour in the foundation is like magic - it disappears on my face, no need to blend it. I already have the tint, I just need time to try it 😊 thanks for the inspiration! Maybe I'll bust out my YSL Stora Dolls I bought because of you 😅

I wonder if there are shade for me... My skin is very fair and kind of neutral. Mont Blanc from Nars and shade 2 from luminious silk - Giorgio Armani. I find that your skin is much dark and golden then mine. I was thinking about buying T3, but I think it will be to dark... Anyone have an option to help me? Thank you so much

As someone who lives and dies by Phytosurgence Pewtered Pine, that Shroom shade has alllllllll my attention.
And there's no shame in moving back home, especially if that's where your people still are. Despite my mixed feelings about it, I know moving back to my home state 13 years ago was the only good option. And now I'm just far enough from my family to see them regularly and still be on good terms 😅
I got the Eldridge tint in T2 and it is perfect for my extra-light warm skin (MAC NC13; Bobbi Brown Warm Porcelain). Looking at your hand swatch I am convinced that T4 would have been too dark on me. This tint is dang near undetectable on the skin, even though I use retinoids and get some light peeling from that. As you note, it's a true-skin finish, neither shiny nor matte.

Thank you for the review. It's so interesting, Lisa talking about lighter skin tones in foundations because for the life of me I can't find a match in her line. Her lightest shades (apart from shade 1 which is very pink) are just too dark on my fair skin, and none of them are actually neutral. The warm is way too orange yellow and the neutral is very peach. Many companies think neutral equals peach, which is not the case. There are no genuinely neutral, beige shades in Lisa's collection, at least in the fair range (which in and of itself isn't fair but rather fair to light). Also my BF has fair olive skin and LE's olive shade, beside being too dark, is too yellow and not green enough. I've been a fan of Lisa's for years and love her products, so this was a bummer for me. I wonder if the tint will work better in terms of a shade match.
Hear, hear! I am ultra pale & LE's shades don't come close in either depth or undertone: why these 'artist' brands don't recognise that super pale people exist, or produce white mixers for their too-dark products, I don't understand.

@anneonymaus Haus Labs foundation has a mixer shade - not a tint but since such few mixer options exist, thought I would share in case you didn’t know.
100% agree. The afterthought LE foundation shade 2.5 works for me, undertone-wise, but it could stand to be a tiny bit lighter to be perfect. I was so disappointed when she unveiled the shade range for this tint, and there was no pale olive - T2 is the one they suggest for 2.5 matching, and I am significantly fairer than Kackie.
I remember when Lisa released her foundation range and she said how hard it was to find a model to wear the lightest shade. She made it sound as though it was because they went so fair that there wasn't anyone pale enough to model it, when I suspect it's because it was peach AF and not human-coloured at all.
I have a different but similar color problem with LE, who I also love and respect. She does not understand or sell true blue-based or cool lip products. They always skew peach toned. I just caved AGAIN and bought her new lip pencil she swore was neutral, gray-based taupe/beige….and it’s warm. Peach toned. SO sad and scares me to buy anything else!
@treasurechest123 I agree about the neutral lip liners; I was surprised when I swatched them in store and they seemed really quite warm to me. The cool toned ones are pretty, but that doesn't solve your problem.

I went through a terrible break up 2 years ago and moved back home and its done so much for my happiness to be near my brother, mom, and dad. I even got very sick and I can't tell you how important it was that they were near to me as I had to go through a very difficult time as I needed them close so so much. Also, I love being able to drive 15 mins and go play squash with my mom, pool with my dad, or visit my brothers and his dog. I also reconnected with old friends super easily, even though I hadn't been the best in contact when I lived away. Also, there was that relief of just feeling like I was being around my people once again! Just sharing my experience, but what you said (extra details are not necessary!) resonated so much with me of 2 years ago and its really turned everything around for me. Also, are you by chance going to review the new phytosurgence eyeshadows? I already pulled the trigger but I would love to know what you think.

So glad you are able to try the Vitalumiere now, it’s legit my HG foundation. I have gone through multiple bottles of it, but it is definitely a bit more matte now that it is just mineral filters. Still my fave foundation. That, the Chanel rouge allure laqué in shade 63 Ultimate (I use it on lips and cheeks) and some mascara/brow gel is my every day put together look.

I tried the Prada foundation five times, and I returned it! It was awful, dry, no matter what primer I used, it was very obvious I was wearing foundation, it was streaky, I used natural hair, synthetic brushes, a sponge and I even tried to use my fingers. Run from this foundation if you are over 45 with combo skin.
Didn’t work for me either. Lkke it never melt into my skin

Just wish there were more olive tones and specifically more fair olive tones in makeup, they tend to (if they offer olive at all) jump straight to light medium.

I work in a hospital so I know a lot of people who move here to Michigan temporarily for residency and they are shocked by the long lasting dreary gray skies of winter & how real seasonal affective is ! But summers and autumn are AMAZING here.

Doing god’s work
I moved out of California where I was born and raised almost a year ago for a really big work opportunity in Washington and it’s been really HARD on me 😔 I miss my family and friends so much! I miss our family Sunday dinners, I miss hanging out with my nieces and nephew, I miss knowing where everything is, knowing all the back streets, I miss my favorite restaurants, my parks I would go to every day, my Dojo I went to every day. I love visiting but my goodness the “see you soon” I hate and I feel so depressed after visiting. I’m super family oriented, I don’t like change, it’s still so difficult figuring out where I’m going. I have to use Waze every time I drive somewhere outside of the town I now live in. Cheers to you for moving back home where your family is!
Okay, back to the makeup! The Lisa Eldridge skin tint looks so amazing on you! It’s really beautiful and natural looking. I was also so confused why the new YSL hyper bronzer wasn’t on Sephora so I went to Nordstrom’s at bought mine in person and I LOVVVVE IT! It’s so smooth, you can build it up, it has a blurring effect and it lasts on my skin all day.
I love what Samantha March and Simbre (sorry wrong spelling I’m sure) started doing with Creator and Friends! I believe Sam said 40 people are attending this one and I follow and adore 98% of the content creators going. A few I don’t know about but I’m sure I will after the trip. It has to be so refreshing to be around your peers and fellow content creators and talk about work, fun new video ideas and just the sense of community ❤
Girl I’m so happy you introduced Make Beauty to me. Their shadows are GORGEOUS! Glaze is so beautiful, I wear that one a lot. I love glitter ✨ on my lids! I also haven’t stopped using the Chanel Glow Stick in Mermaid Glow and in Transparent. I use them on my face, eyes, lips and an inner corner highlight they are so yummy and pretty!

oh lithium has been on my list for so long, ive not tried an UD e/s in ages. Im wondering if lithium has more green in it vs the diamond dog, may need to search for comparisons. I think i might prefer diamond dog.
@@anneviscardi from what I see on Kackie, Diamond Dog looks much warmer. On me Lithium looks like a dark taupe with silver shimmer particules if it can help
*wanted to add, I used it today and now I see why you mention a green-is effect on the eyes with Lithium, I don't see it in the pan but it is there on my lids (maybe my light brown eyes play a role in it). And want to correct what I said, don't want to mislead anyone, there are also finer gold particles on top of the base color and fewer slightly bigger silver ones. But Lithium was not the point in this video, I know
I told my mom the other day (we thankfully only live 15 minutes away from her) that I don’t want to be an adult anymore. 😂 in my defense I found a huge unnoticed roof leak in my spare bathroom so I was a bit overwhelmed. Living in the same area as my nuclear family has been a blessing. Also as a Floridian I just am intolerant to cold so living up north isn’t really an option for me.
