Out of all the fantastic guitarists on youtube who share what they have with us, you Pete inspire me the most. You just have such great feeling , note choice and expression to your playing. I've learned so much from you over the past couple of years. Thanks so much Pete. You rule dood!
The fact that you have 30k subscribers and you take the time to answer back or pay attention says and means a lot. May you keep making more amazing videos!
Double denim, you go girl. Fantastic playing, as usual. Bit of a cheat though, I think you could make a sneeze sound musical.... Can't beat a bit of Tele. Cheers for the response, I've just downloaded your backing tracks. Should keep me busy and out of the wifes range for a while. Now, where did I put that jacket.
This is such a great groove from two class songs, I actually think the groove of the two together is better than the two parts played on there own. It's so percussive and that always give you a bit more when looping. Keep up the outstanding content Pete.. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
Tasty stuff man! Always a pleasure to listen too. Really liked how you combined 2 harmonies together to create something truly beautiful. Really enjoyed that! By the way the tone was fantastic the drive sounds slightly different to what you normally use!
Excellent video Pete. Smooth, classy guitar playing as always. Great to see a demonstration in layering too. It gives an insight into the world of the songwriting process in general. I think people can become a little too consumed with their soloing technique sometimes and forget to step back and play what the song actually needs. John Mayer does this well in his songs. Ry Cooder (my number 1) said that as a guitarist he’s always made sure he serviced the song first. I always try to remember that.
Hi ,i am new here !!i am french and i am learning guitar since 2 years !! I am a big fan of Prince too!! I love watching your vidéo but i don’t understand very well because my english is so bad !!lol Your vidéo inspire mee and after i am always playing guitar ! Good stuff and you are an amazing guitar player !! Come to France 🇫🇷 to do some concert ,yeah 🤘
Your lessons are the best! I always feel inspired to play my guitar after watching one of your videos. Do you normally use a compressor as an “always on” pedal? Just for clean tones? Thanks!
Awesome jam Pete! Next time throw in a bit of Careless Whisper on top if it and you've got magic right there. Thought about it while noodling on top of the vid 😂
Hi Pete, great tutorial and awesome video as usual :-) Could you quickly reveal which pickups and string gauge you´re using on your purple monster (usually)? Cheers!
Peter Honoré thanks Pete, i think the PU’s sound amazing. Might try a nocaster in the neck some day - if i’m not wrong i have a twisted tele in the neck on my stock 50s baja tele...which is not bad at all :-)
Ohhhh that Tele sounds sweet in your hands... I'd love to have your touch. That reverb/delay pedal sounds fine but, could you recommend me a a workhorse without a trillion options? I´m looking for a good sounding delay, true bypass with built-in tap tempo switch. Un abrazo from Spain!
I'd be interested to see you do something with "I could never take the place of your man" by Prince. I've been playing that one in different styles for years. Another song I've been working on for a long time is Many Rivers to Cross, but as much as I love the song I've never found a version that I like completely and I've never figured out how to play and sing it in a way I'm fully satisfied with. It's such a great song though!
Hey Pete! It would be nice if you guys could get Charlie Hunter in for a Captain Meets(or a Pete Meets). He will be in the UK during the end of September I believe.
Thanks bro I saw this. I been following them again since they put out new record and hit the road again a few years ago. I had no idea they were still hitting it at over 70 years old or so. I thought it would be interesting to see how you would approach improvising over those changes. Are those stock pickups in your tele?
Thanks Pete, i went through your video today and yesterday and learn't it by ear, just listening to when you just played the phrases slowly(no talking ) I think you are are much better off, by playing each phrase through slowly. It also worked well when you played through the shapes of the chords one by one, like the chord scales in 6ths. But that is just me, i can't learn with lessons ( all over youtube ) when the instructor goes through the piece, note by note, finger by finger. It drives me bananas, but that's me, i am a listener, and i can look and copy, if it is played slowly. Anyway that's just some honest feedback to you, because i think you are are really nice soul and a very musical one at that. Also you have a purple tele, so do I :)) You are the only other person i have seen with a purple tele my friend. have purchased quite a few of your backing tracks also, you do great backing tracks to practice with and have fun, and deep down I think that's what you like to do. Have you recorded this one in any of your albums ? cheers
Fantastic loop! I had trouble figuring out why my loop didn't sound like Pete's. I think I fixed it when I found out that the rhythm of Fragile is on the upbeat of sixteenth notes: 1 e & a 2 e & a 3 e & a 4 e & a ♪. ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪⁀♩ (Second to last note should be a sixteenth note, but Word didn't have one) Hope it can help someone! And please point me out if I am wrong.
Hi David. Thanks for your message. It’s a custom shop. There is a video on Andertons UA-cam channel called “probably the best telecaster we’ve ever played”, you get the whole story. Best. P
Use the what major scale? I tried listening to what you say several times and I hear 'S F major scale?' Sorry, I'm new to major scales so I'm a bit lost!
I couldn't tell if that was a capo, tuner, or one of these new devices Fender sells called a Fat Finger on your headstock. Supposedly it improves sustain on the guitar but seems a bit questionable to me. Was curious if that was one on your headstock or not!
When are Andertons.gonna get Mayer over here so him and Pete can jam and make my life complete
I’m scared that if you do a Slow Dancing video I’ll have nothing more to live for 😬 good stuff Pete :P
Out of all the fantastic guitarists on youtube who share what they have with us, you Pete inspire me the most. You just have such great feeling , note choice and expression to your playing. I've learned so much from you over the past couple of years. Thanks so much Pete.

Thank you Andres. I try my best :-). Thank you for watching. P
Aaaaah when Pete posts a video... my day is good. Love your playing and attitude Pete! Lots of greetings from Belgium!!
Possibly the most creative and inspiring guitar lesson I've ever watched.
Just wow... Damn!
Thanks Pete.
Really like this style of video and there does not seem to be too many of them on youtube. Great going, Pete!
Double denim, you go girl.
Fantastic playing, as usual.
Bit of a cheat though, I think you could make a sneeze sound musical....

Now, where did I put that jacket.
I wish I could hire you for lessons. You are truly inspiring. Greetings from Toronto, Canada
Pete, excellent quality sounding in this video. Those Keeley pedals are really cool, work amazingly well in line.
Pete your phrasing is just flawless
This is such a great groove from two class songs, I actually think the groove of the two together is better than the two parts played on there own. It's so percussive and that always give you a bit more when looping. Keep up the outstanding content Pete.. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
Every time I hear you play I want to buy the pedals from that video... it’s like a tone addiction. So good.
This is a wonderful episode. Dude! 8.5K views in a day? Pete, thank you!
Thank you Ramon... I know. Crazy numbers! Makes me very happy. P
Badass. I really love these Pete. I learn so much from them. Thanks so much and keep it up.
That Tele... 🤤
Epic! I'm gonna obsess over this the entire weekend. Thank you!
Tasty stuff man! Always a pleasure to listen too. Really liked how you combined 2 harmonies together to create something truly beautiful. Really enjoyed that! By the way the tone was fantastic the drive sounds slightly different to what you normally use!
Thank you dude. Definitely different tone from my normal tone, but I liked it. :-).
Awesome playing as always.
Belief is my favourite mayer song, has such a good message.

Love your stuff, keep it coming!
damn i've been jamming over a belief loop and a fragile loop for ages... never thought of mashing them.
nice touch
Hi Pete, greetings from India..your videos are full of life and you play so well. Keep smiling my brother..
This is the mashup I never knew I needed.
Can anyone shed some light around what he’s doing around 1:43-6sounds outside. Would love to learn that concept!
Awesome video Pete. Incredible mashup. Love your playing so much. Cheers

Awesome! Loving the tone

Man, i gotta learn me some Mayer Riffs...
Pete, i bought your Danish Pete t-shirt!
Thank you!!
Where can I get a Danish Pete T shirt from?!
Great lesson Pete!

Thanks, pete!
Thanks Pete that was Great!!!
What's your favorite amp you've ever played, Pete? By the way, I love these looper videos. It always inspires me and gives me the urge to play!
I don't know... There has been a few... That Two Rock we had in was pretty special..
do you have a ‘purple durple’ shirt? good guy, Pete.
If I had an ounce of skill that Pete has I'd be a happy man indeed. Prefer this channel.
Awesome 👍 great work 👏👏
Hi Pete, great tutorial and awesome video as usual :-)

at 14:50 that is like an accidental "woman tone", so sweet and rich especially on the top end

Hey Pete-Is that one of the Fender FatFingers you're using here? Does it actually do anything?
Fender FatFingers??

Please tab out the shapes Peter- I can’t see what you’re doing ta muchly cheers
THE FUCKING CREAM!
Hey Pete. Do you want to teach me how to do that?? Please.
Hi Matthew. I thought I just did!? :-).
Peter Honoré true but I wanna play like that all the time. 😂
Oh boy, it’s so sad but obvious, why you should make music and I just should consume music
yes helo can i hav puprle gitar
Another purple guitar yes, this one no :-).
Danish Pete the Album.....pretty please
What tone 🙈
The Mayer melody sounds like it was lifted from one of Satriani's song.......🤔
Those are my favourite songs from those too artists
How did you know? Tell meee
I did :)
Ahhh, Fragile was the first song I learned on guitar, over thirty years ago. Yikes!
HI PETE
Hi Gavin..
Danish Pete>John Mayer
Oh, you hit the loop button on the 1! RTM... facepalm
I'd like to have some words with the mong who disliked this video.
