I'm in Riyadh, the city of my dreams, located in the heart of Saudi Arabia. Known for its blend of modernity and tradition, Riyadh offers a unique cultural experience. We're exploring local cafes and authentic restaurants, experiencing the vibrant culture, and savoring the rich flavors of traditional Saudi cuisine. Join me on this exciting journey and discover the unique charm of Riyadh. A special thank you to @flynas, awarded the Best Low-Cost Airline in the Middle East in 2023 and ranked 4th Best LCC worldwide.
First up we’re in Souk Al Zal, Riyadh's vibrant marketplace offering a diverse array of traditional Saudi goods. Lose yourself in its maze of alleyways filled with colorful textiles and intricate jewelry. Immerse your senses in the sights, sounds, and scents of local craftsmanship and exotic spices. Whether you're seeking unique souvenirs or a rich cultural experience, Souk Al Zal is a must-visit destination in Riyadh. We were particularly fascinated when, during Adhan, all shops closed in a beautiful display of cultural tradition.
After our market adventure, we wandered into downtown Riyadh, where we encountered an elderly Saudi Arabian woman selling an array of delicious traditional foods. Her offerings included dolma, jareesh, margouk, and koshari-a mix of macaroni and split peas-as well as biryani and samosas. One of the exquisite dishes I tried reminded me of lasagna! Every bite was a testament to the rich culinary heritage of Saudi Arabia.
Continuing our exciting food tour, we visited Kaysariat Elketab Cafe and enjoyed marasi with Saudi coffee. Marasi, a traditional Arabic pancake topped with honey, was absolutely delicious and a perfect treat to complement our journey.
Our exploration led us to a traditional house resembling a palace, known as Vero. Here, we were fortunate to have the gracious Sara show us how to prepare jareesh and kabsa with chicken. We were served an amazing salad alongside a traditional Arabic yogurt drink. The jareesh, topped with raisins and onions, was incredible-unlike any I’ve had before, bursting with the love and authenticity only found in a true Arabic household. The kabsa, an authentic Arabic dish with juicy chicken and rice, was a highlight of the trip. Every bite was a delight, and I highly recommend everyone to try it!
Join me on this cultural and culinary journey through Riyadh, and don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more adventures. A heartfelt thank you once again to Flynas airline for making this culinary adventure possible.

Despite the fact that Saudis are very traditional and live strictly by religious codes, specially when it comes to their women's dress code and socializing norms. They invited you to their home and cooked for you, an indication of their warmness and hospitality. ❤Much love and respect💘

Irani and Persians are the sweet sons of the Arabs , one is father and one is son, father ❤❤❤ Persian son…Persians are loving descendants of Arab , Arab peacefully conquered the Zoroaster fire worshippers thousand years ago and introduced the peace of Islam to Faraseeiya
Don’t talk nonsense this food channels not religion ok .. world know what is ok just shut your mouth
We go way before the Sassanid period , Arabs and Persians were always allies during the Persian Achaemenid empire, Arabs were much beloved and they played a great role in the conquest of Greece and Egypt , there are many ancient Persian words in Arabic and many Zoroastrian fire temples and other pre-Islamic Persian/ Arabic religious remains in Arab countries ,if you take a look at the Persepolis releifs you will find the oldest depiction of ancient Arab soilders of the Achaemenid empire, the Arabian Satrapy which was the only satrapy that was free from taxpaying , this is while even Persian queens were obligated to pay taxes for their land owning .many Persians moved from southern Iran to Arab countries and vice versa ,we share a lot more then we think .❤
If Umer RA had lived today Jamal kashokji had received justice to his death by so called MBS, inshallah Allah will make justice to these milkshakes

@@Abokrayyem he is not Iranian .
I lived in Riyadh Suadi 2012 as a single woman teacher and it wa in most worse living conditions. It was a horrible compound and it was harsh scary to go outside. I was not allowed to leave the country even with a USA passport because they used TESOL certificate teachers like Present and I had chronic anxiety and PTSD. I suffered and struggled as a single woman not even allowed to go to a coffee shop and I was not even allowed to grab food at local restaurants because I was a woman. When I walked in to the store to buy groceries, cars would slow down, open doors to wink and suggest to get into the car. They were wealthy men who would look at a woman walking as a prostitute and I was working as a teacher. Although soon I learned and saw some of the things the teacher did in their nights off . Some teachers were European, Russian, Americans and they some really shady sexual things on the download. Long story but someone like me was innocent girl working and I struggled and I suffered . I see how it has changed recent years and now people are so lucky to enjoy themselves and not suffer the way I did
Wow your story is heartbreaking
Are you from Saudi? Or different nationality !
Haaa very fun to watch great
I think Saudi people good 😁👎👎
