Never get tired of watching your work. I’ve been working metal for years myself, but I guess I’ve never had the patience to achieve the level of perfection that you achieve. Just amazing what you do.
Your ability to repair/remake components that most people would think are beyond fixing is awesome. Thanks for sharing the experience. P.S. Looking forward to seeing Death Trap on the forest roads at some point if Gladys allows us.
@@shellberightgarage I had a Landau, and several other varieties of car. My current toy is a 52 FV1600 Military Humber....130 brought out from England in the 50s.... Probably only a dozen left in Australia.... Probably less than 50 left in their original state in the world. Not really a muscle car as such, but it looks real cool, like a 50's rat rod 4x4 chev ute on steroids, complete with roof turrets rear winch, tyre inflators and fully submersible......For the zombie apocalypse you see !!!!! Better start welding some armour on that Landau....Your going to need it ...... Unfortunately it's got rust issues, not bad, just I need to either develop skills ( like yours) or find someone, like you, to do the work for me ( eventually)....
There is a guy in our local Ford club who took parts from 5 different 57 T-birds and put it back together. He started with a frame, a floor and a cowl.
Any reason why the firewall was not wire brushed for priming and the inside parts that were repaired not primed? All those rust repairs are going to rust again. Just a bit confused.

Thank you!
Nice day for binge watching this project. Love your work.
When your Landau looking light, And your metal is out of sight. Who you gunna call. Who Else, She,ll be Right. :)

You are a hole transplant surgeon!
I'm amazed at how tinny the panels are and how strong they are when assembled.
It's amazing how strong sheet metal becomes, isn't it? Just a few curves and edges.
Save Landaus ! One of the rarest cars in Australia.
My car's rarer !!
@@incomingshell3268 what have you got?

Interestingly enough, I counted the donors today for this car, and came up with 7 vehicles, including the car. Lol
