Dr. Rowe, wish I could meet you in person for treatment in NYC. The pain I am in from a torn ACL & menicus (right leg) is unbearable. At 43 with osteoarthritis plus 2 young sons (14 & 7) I am feeling extremene pain, despair, hopelessness & fear of surgery which I was told I need.

I have a question what if I'm not doing any physical activity that is causing my hamstring to be locked up and in pain but it's the way that I'm sleeping?
I tend to sleep on my side using a body pillow to put in between my knees. Over the past couple of days the leg that I normally sleep on has been in a ton of pain and I've been experiencing leg cramps at night that come out of nowhere and they're so painful that they jolt me out of sleep.

Oh my I just saw your post. My heart goes out to you for I have had hamstring problems for years. I’ve been through the mill with different type of stretches exercises, release technique, etc , that I have done myself and with physical therapist. In your history, it seems so possibly, there’s cramping and increased pain and spasm in thigh and calf on the side you lie on because you might have a lower lumbar L4 or L5 spinal chiropractic subluxation causing irritation and affecting spinal nap integrity. I am a retired therapist and chiropractor myself, and as jretired I work p t as janitor which is strenuous. If the doctor in the video did not answer your comment, perhaps you should go see a chiropractor that is subluxation specific so they can check your spine and make sure the position and functioning is normal. so I hope and pray that you do find the cause and the solution. I will pray that you do.

Is that supposed to happen?
