I'm actually still waiting til they ship it to the US. I was the first to inquire about it and they're shipping it to the nearest dealership. They're only shipping 15 of these cars to the US
I’m a Lotus owner I Love the 4c spider but i think it’s overpriced ! 15k more and isn’t as quick as some Elise variants and doesn’t handle as well but opinions May vary on that . However the looks are stunning and I’d like to own one in my lifetime.They are deprecating so it should be affordable in the near future. Great review , has to be a Red for me.👍

I was told at a dealer that they adjust the seats for the specific driver. So they are adjustable, but this car is designed to be light and "purist" so they don't add complicated and heavy electrically adjustable gear in it.
This Spider Italia version is a really strange car. You should think that the latest version would be a absolute full version, but there are some very strange things missing. There is no spoiler on the back (almost all 4C's have them, it's a little lip above the break light), there is no carbon fiber roof bar and there is no sport package for the suspension and the rear sway bar. Why Alfa? Think there weren't any spare parts left haha! I don't agree with you the car is super hard/stiff. The chassis is really stiff (offcourse, it's from carbon), but the suspension is really forgiving. It's not making your back hurt or anything. You should drive my 4C. Compared to the (more heavy) stock spider, mine is even more hardcore and A LOT faster (0-100 3,6 seconds on GPS). The Akrapovic exhaust looks greats, but tests proof it makes the turbo way to hot and cut power. Therefore it is much better to have the race exhaust out of the factory. It is just as loud, but much better for power delivery.
@@ssoffshore5111 it handles it perfect. But I limited the torque at about 400nm. There are a lot of different stories how much torque it can handle (the Giulietta QV manual first gen can only handle about 400nm which is been saying that the tct is a automatic double clutch version of that gearbox which seems to be bullshit) so for safety reason it limited. But, it also had the additional advantage that it keeps the turbo cooler, which gives more top end horsepower. I also removed the dust filter around the air filter and replaced the air filter with a bmc air filter. That also a very good tweek, since the dust filter is blocking a lot of air!
Only atlhletic midgets fit in that damned car, that's why they are ending it, and the reason why sales suck.....I purchased the car, without trying it, and sold it 2 weeks later.. why didn't you record yourself going in or out of the car? Not easy for a young guy as yourself ..now imagine older or taller ,fatter people!!! Alfa foooked up on this ! ;) Much easier to get into a lotus...and that is hard as fook also..Very, very bad design...
without sounding rude, I'd like to put for my theory-- which goes thusly: this was Alfa's return to the American market after 20-some years (excluding the overpriced and extremely rare 8C), and to maintain sex appeal as a brand, I'm sure Alfa made sure this wouldn't quickly become another irrelevant plaything for the affluent-- hence the low price. Also, by making ingress and egress more difficult, Alfa definitely discouraged the "older" and "fatter" people (as you so eloquently put it) from actually buying this car and as a result, only "athletic midgets" were actually seen driving the car on the roads. Brand image you will see, has been maintained. I will concede that you are most likely correct in your diagnosis regarding the "death" of this car, but I hope to have lended some insight into why they built the car the way they did. In short, this is a Sports Car-- NOT a Grand Tourer, and expecting it to be comfortable is like expecting pornography to have a smooth dialogue and intriguing plot. If you want something more comfortable, the Giulia Quadrifoglio is supposed to be fantastic in every way. I'm sorry if you took a loss when selling your 4C, and hope your faith in Alfa isn't damaged.

What have you done to yours to make it that much quicker? How is the DCT holding up, I've heard its marginal when mods are done... Great cars though!

Bahahahahaha! Not with a stock engine and tune. Mx5 0.91g skidpad. 4c 0.96g. Braking Mx5 60 - 0 mph 110ft. 4c Spider 60 - 0 101ft. You already know about acceleration. Nice try though.
